Jack


I hated getting to school before Alex did, it was so annoying having to wait around for him to show up. I always beg him to let me just bring him to school every morning in my car, but he thinks his parents will get suspicious or something, so he takes the bus.
Lots of friends drive each other to school! Sometimes I think he’s a little too safe around his parents but then again, I guess it’s better being safe than sorry.

“So, how was your weekend with your better half?” Hayley asked, bringing me back to real life.

“Amazing, so fucking amazing.” I answered, but I was still barely paying any attention to them. I really am a dick to my friends sometimes, I don’t mean to be, they just ask me such annoying questions all the time, and I’m always thinking about other things.

“Did you guys have crazy gay butt sex?” Tay laughed, making everyone else groan.

I was surprised that her and Zack were a few feet away from each other when they were having problems in their relationship, same with Hayley and Brendon. If they made up, they would be all over each other, but they were just at opposite sides of the group, with Cass and Rian in the middle.
I guess it’s weird having the same friends when you're a couple, good think me and Alex will never break up.

“We did in fact” I said, making them groan more.

“You guys are getting so serious, I’m so happy for you Jack.” Cass said, with her arms around Rian.

“Thanks Cass,” I said, and felt arms wrap around my waist. I knew it was Alex.

I whipped around and cupped his face in my hands, and kissed him. He smiled against my kiss wrapping his arms around my neck to deepen the kiss.

“Hi” he said, seeming dazed by my kiss, which made me chuckle.

“Good morning, handsome.”

“I love you two, you’re so sweet.” Cass giggled, Hayley took a picture of us while we were attached to each other. Alex was looking down, he looked upset.

“Baby, what’s wrong?” I asked, pressing my forehead against his. Seeing Alex sad was like seeing a dead puppy, I hate it but it’s so true.

“Oh, I have to present something in front of the whole History class today, I think I’m going to die”

“Aww, Alex, you’re going to do great, don’t worry.” I hugged him, and he smushed his face in my chest, between the sides of my my leather jacket.

“I practiced all day yesterday, but I’m gonna suck, I know it. Everyone will laugh at me.” he said, his voice was all muffled because he was mumbling.

“No they won’t! It’ll be over before you know it, I will be there waiting outside the classroom for you when it’s over, I’m here for you, sweetie.” I assured him, kissing the top of his head.
I love how short he is.

“What would I do without you?” he asked, looking up at me with his signature innocent, wide doe eyes, with rosy cheeks. God, I love that face.

“I love you” I mumbled, making him smile and look down shyly.

“I love you too, I’m still not used to you saying that-”

“YOU GUYS SAID I LOVE YOU, AWWW” Cass nearly screamed, wrapping her arms around both of us in a hug. She’s like the caring, and overbearing mother neither of us have ever had.

The bell rang, Alex’s happy face turned into a nervous frown. Poor kid, nobody is going to understand how much of a genius he actually is because he gets so nervous presenting in front of people. He kissed my cheek and walked the other direction, dragging his feet with every step he took.

“I love you!” I called after him, he looked back at me smiling, even though I knew it was embarrassing him

“I love you Alex!!!” I yelled louder, just to bug my adorably shy boyfriend. He had a red face, staring at me and mouthed ‘STOP.’ Other people turned to look at me but I didn't care.

“I LOVE YOU ALEXANDER WILLIAM GASKARTH!!!”’ I screamed, everyone now looking at us, and Alex. He covered his face with his hands and I heard him say quietly, “I love you, Jack”

I smiled and watched him disappear into his classroom, and I walked the other direction.

“He’s going to kill you for that later,” Rian chuckled.

“I just wanted to show him off,” I shrugged, Rian nodded with a smile.
I’m so proud to have Alex as a boyfriend, and with everybody fawning over him the first few weeks he came to school, I’m relieved I was even able to make him mine.

If Alex was with anybody else, I don’t know what I’d do. We both are just so perfect for each other, we expressed our love for each other within the first few months of us dating!
That doesn’t happen! But it did with us, so we must be soulmates.

I sat down next to Hayley and Tay in my English class. Speaking of soulmates, both of them are having serious trouble with theirs.

“How are both of you having relationship problems at the same time?” I asked them, making them giggle. I guess they are just such close best friends that they go through the same shit together.

“Nobody wants to hear your bragging about how amazing you and Alex are doing, Jack.” Tay told me with a fake glare. It’s true, we are doing amazing.

“Yeah, and how Alex ruined my relationship.” Hayley grumbled.

“Don’t be mad at Alex, he didn’t do anything wrong. But you seriously haven’t forgiven Brendon for that yet? He was just helping out his best friend, I understood that.” I told her, kind of in shock.
I didn’t know Hayley could hold such a grudge, she seems like such a sweet person all the time. I just thought she was more understanding then this.

“Look, I’m not mad at either of them anymore. I was mad at Brendon because he jumped at the chance to get on Alex, but I get now that he was just trying to help Alex be less nervous or something. I told Brendon I don’t care anymore, but he’s pissed at me because he thinks I don’t trust him. “ she explained, her voice getting louder and angrier at the end.

“Well, it sounds like you don’t trust him.” I shrugged, she glared at me.
I was just stating the obvious.

“Ever since you’ve started dating Alex, you think you’re just a big shot love expert or something.” Tay snickered, making me laugh.
Maybe it’s true, if I could get a guy like Alex to be with me, I could get anyone to be together.

“Why doesn’t the love expert help Tay with her problems?” Hayley muttered.

“What happened between you and Zack, anyway? You guys were together for like a week, then he said you got in a fight.” I asked Tay, she covered her face with both of her hands.

“He found out I like this other guy, and is pissed at me.” she explained.
Aww, that sucks. I thought they were actually pretty cute together, I hope she gets over that other douche and sticks with Zack.

“Who was the guy? Do I know him?” I asked. Maybe it was Andy, because Zack seriously hates Andy ever since he stole his last girlfriend. I also hate Andy, so I would not approve of her liking him.

“Just some taken asshole who will never be interested in me.” Tay shrugged.
Just because he’s taken doesn't mean she shouldn’t try to tell him her feelings. I wish she would tell me who it was.

“Well he sounds like a pretty shitty person if he doesn’t like you.” I told her.

I don’t know who wouldn’t like Tay, she is a little bitchy at times, but that’s part of her charm. She just doesn’t take shit from other people.
She’s actually really funny, and nice, and down to earth, she kind of reminds me of myself. Plus, she’s super hot. She’s been a really good friend of mine ever since freshman year, and it hurts me seeing her hurting.
The dickhead she likes doesn’t seem like he’s worth her time.

Tay smiled, looking up at me with big eyes that were dark with eyeliner.

“Thanks Jack,” she grinned, I wrapped my arms around her in a hug, she laid her head on my chest and gasped lightly and held me tighter.
I gotta talk to Zack about this, he’s going to be missing out on an awesome girl.

i mean jalex is super cute in this but jack and tay are breaking my heart a bit

the next chapter is super unplanned, literally i just thought of it two seconds ago, and i have the whole entire story planned out, so this is a surprise
