DRUNK JACK


Alex is a completely different person while drunk. You’d never guess that the most socially awkward person I knew, would be a fucking party animal.

Seriously, I’m not kidding.

Brendan brought his karaoke machine, in case anybody wanted to use it, and my boyfriend, was standing on my kitchen counter, singing “Alejandro” by Lady Gaga. Nearly all the people that were at the party were crowded around the granite counter, staring at Alex singing in a microphone.
Everybody absolutely loved him, people kept coming up to me and telling me how shocked that this little boy from London had such an ability, and he was performing like he’s been doing it his whole life. Now I know that I’m not the only one who sees how amazing he is.

He was worry free, I’ve never seen him look so comfortable or content. He sure as hell belongs in front of an audience. The usually anxious Alex was loud, and confident, strutting around the counters of my entire kitchen, working the entire party with his charm.

I hit the fucking jackpot in this kid.

I was in front row of coarse, along with Rian, Cass Brendan and Hayley, and every other teenage girl in the entire school.

I smiled as Alex stopped as he saw me, and squatted down next to me and pointed as he sang.

“But seriously, where did you find a boy like that?” Kellin slurred, gesturing to Alex.

“Huh?” I mumbled, taking a sip of my beer.

“How did you get him, as a boyfriend? Where can I get one of those?” Kellin asked me, obviously too drunk to think straight.

“Excuse me,” Vic glared, hitting Kellin in the arm for punishment.

“Sorry, there’s only one of him, and he’s mine.” I answered, noticing my words were slurring just as much as theirs.

I’m soooo drunk.

“Well, maybe something the three of of could have a threes-”

“Absolutely not, fucker. I’ve told you a million times I’m not going to do that shit with you too, there is no fucking way I’m letting Alex be any part of that!” I interrupted him, shoving Vic away for even mentioning the idea.

He’s such an asshole.

“Hey, don’t touch me.” Vic growled, shoving me back, knocking me a few steps backwards.

Vic pushed Kellin behind him, because he obviously didn't want his boyfriend to see his ass getting kicked

“Don’t talk about my boyfriend like he’s some sort of object!” I argued, shoving Vic back a few steps.
Maybe it was what he said, maybe it was because of how wasted I was, maybe it was both, but I had the strong urge for my fist to collide with Vic’s face.

“Hey, hey, calm down Jack,” I felt a hand on my shoulder, and whipped around angrily to see it was Rian. Always the peaceful one.

He dragged me away to a quieter part of the party, where Alex and Brendan had a dozen girls surrounding them .

“Fuck off, he’s gay!!” I exclaimed, causing them all to give me a disgusted look and leave. Well it’s not like I’m lying.

“Heyyy babe,” Alex slurred, wrapping both of his arms around my neck.



The rest of the night went by like a blur, I know that I spent a lot of time grinding with Alex, we played truth or dare, I vaguely remember punching someone that I assume was Vic. He’s been on my nerves all night, practically asking to get hit.

“Have I ever told you how good you look in this shirt?” I asked Alex, who was sitting on my lap on the couch.
