During lunch, I forced Alex and Brendon to sit at my lunch table with all of my friends. I was sick of walking back and forth between lunch tables, and I really really want Alex to meet all of my friends. Alex always says he doesn’t belong at the ‘popular’ table, which is insane, we are all just people, and we were just as lame as anyone else is.
A lot of my friends still doubt my relationship with him, I’m pretty sure Tay and Zack think I’m just using him as an object. I know how against all love and mushy stuff I was in the beginning of the year, but that was before I met the most perfect person on earth.
I guess Rian and Cass were right, like always, you just have to meet the right person, and everything falls into place.
Both of the socially awkward boys were doing pretty well with my friends, I mean as good as it can get for too very nervous teenagers. Alex was being his adorable shy self, pressed up against my side, barely making any eye contact what so ever. I wish he was more confident, he is so scared to open up to anybody, and so insecure about his personality. I wish everyone could see the Alex that I see everyday.
As for Brendon, he really seemed to be hitting it off with Hayley, they started talking first thing when he came to the table. What if he has a thing for her? No way, that’s not okay. Brendon can’t date Hayley, she deserves way better than a dude I slept with. I pretty much think of her as a little sister, same with Cass and even Tay. Tay can be a bitch at times, but she’s one of my best friends and I care about her.
Thankfully, Rian started working up a conversation with Alex, and they seemed to be getting to know each other better. Good, this is good, my friends getting along with my boyfriend. My ex/ boyfriend’s friend is getting along with my friends. Maybe we can be one big happy friend group.
At least we will, until Tay stops ignoring Alex, and actually talks to him. I know she doesn’t think we would be a good couple, but SERIOUSLY. Ignoring the sweetest boy in the world is extremely uncalled for.
I spent the rest of lunch feeding Alex strawberries, hugging him and showering him with kisses, I was basically smothering him. Normally, I would never be this lovey dovey infront of all my friends, but he was wearing my favorite shirt of his, that showed off his lightly toned arms in just the right ways, and his black beanie that made him look even more like a model.
“Jaaackk!” I heard my name from behind me, and turned to see Vic and Kellin.
“Hey guys” I greeted. I was a little annoyed they were taking away time from me staring at my boyfriend.
Vic and Kellin are a couple, and both of them have constant energy and excitement, they are basically insane, but perfect for eachother. I hang out with them a lot, they usually get invited to a bunch of college parties and they bring me along, at the end of the night they always beg for a threesome but I just want to be their friends. I’ve already slept with both of them anyway, before they found each other of course.
“We just came over here to ask about the Halloween party,” Kellin explained.
“What’s that?” Alex asked, looking up at me. Oh yeah, I always forget he’s new to our school, it feels like I’ve known him forever.
“British boy doesn’t know what Halloween is?” Vic mocked, making everyone laugh. Alex lowers his eyes in a glare. I don’t really think that Vic is someone Alex will get along with…
“I have this Halloween party at my house every year, pretty much everyone from the school comes.” I explained.
“It’s literally what everyone looks forward to every Halloween, and there’s lots of booze” Kellin added.
“Now that it’s our senior year, it’s going to be insane, and all of you have to come and wear a costume.” Vic demanded, pointing at everyone in our table.
“Done” Rian said.
“Ri, I already have a plan for our costume.” Cass told him.
“I have my costume.” Tay said.
“I’m ready for the hangover.” Zack chuckled.
“I will come if Brendon comes.” Hayley smiled, glancing over at the boy with glasses.
“I guess we’re coming then,” he decided.
I noticed that the only person who didn’t answer was the boy who I had my arm wrapped around.
“Baby?” I asked Alex, waiting for his response.
“I don’t know Jack, I’m into that kinda stuff.” he mumbled.
“I’m not into that stuff either, you can hang out with me and Rian.” Cass reassured him.
“It’ll be fun Alex, you can just tell your parents that you’re going to my house.” Brendon said.
“Pleaseeee, I really want to show you off. Everyone’s going to be jealous that I was the one who got the new, sexy, british boy.” I begged, kissing his beanie covered hair.
“Okay, for you.” Alex agreed, and gave me a peck on the lips. Yes!!
“Yay!!!” Cass cheered.
I turned his face toward me with one hand and kissed him. Kissing him was my new favorite thing. His lips were always soft and sweet, kissing him is one of the most comforting things I could imagine. He always tastes like some sort of tea that he drinks constantly, and the cologne he wears makes me want to keep my nose in his shirt the entire day.
God, what is happening to me. I’m really changing, I never would’ve thought about a boy like this a few months ago, but even when he touches me, it feels like electricity to my skin.
This boy is making me lose my mind.
“Get a room! Gross!” Zack exclaimed, we both pulled away panting.
Oh yeah, other people were here. I don’t care about other people watching me make out with my boyfriend, PDA never bothered me, especially when I was the one receiving some affection.
“You guys are the cutest couple on Earth,” Hayley told us.
“Thanks,” Alex answered, I smiled when I realized how red his lips were.
“You’re so handsome,” I mumbled, Alex blushed and wrapped his arms around my neck, and we returned to making out.
After that, I didn’t see Alex for the rest of the day, not even in music class. Did I do something during lunch to get him mad? I thought we had a great time. Why would he be mad at me? I can’t believe I ruined things with him already, I’m not good at relationships. I really don’t know how to be in one, I’m trying to act like Rian and Cass but maybe it’s not working. I know how worried Alex is about us, and he thinks that I’m going to leave him, when I’m really doing I possibly can to make him want to stay with me.

It's so fun being the author and writing a cliff hanger, but being the reader and reading a cliffhanger is such a love/hate experience.
