My Friends Are Everything

I'm Never Gonna Let This Go

Ten days later, life seemed perfect for me. Well, almost perfect; Sabrina was still around and she’s annoying as ever. On the perfect side of it, Spencer and I have spent every single second we can together. When he had to work nights, he would take me out during the day. When he had nights off, I would sleep over at his apartment. Before you ask, no we have not had sex…yet. After putting on my sexiest pair of lingerie, I pulled my dress on and slipped on my heels. I applied my make-up and pulled on my jewelry. About quarter of seven, I grabbed my purse and walked downstairs. I saw Alex and Sabrina on the couch and Nina on the recliner.

“Getting ready to go out with your boyfriend?” Nina smirked.

“He’s not my boyfriend; we’re not together,” I corrected.

“Yet,” she scoffed.

I laughed and rolled my eyes.

“Where’s everyone else?” I asked.

“Mandy and Rian are out being disgustingly cute. Sophie’s working and Zack just went out to stalk her. Oh and Jack’s in the kitchen,” Nina shrugged.

I nodded.

“Where are you and Spencer going tonight?” she asked.

“He’s taking me out to dinner and then we’re going back to his place,” I smirked at her.

“Damn girl,” she grinned.

“Do you mind if we come out with you? It would be cool to have a double date,” Alex smirked at me.

“Excuse me?” I asked.

“Well I want to meet Spencer,” he smirked at me.

“Well if they’re going I want to go,” Nina pouted.

I looked over at her.

“Hey Jack!” Nina yelled.

“What?” Jack yelled back.

“You’re going to be my pretend date tonight! We’re going on a date with Jenna, Spencer, Alex and Sabrina,” she called to him.

“Okay!” he called back.

“There, its settled,” Nina smiled as she darted up the steps to change.

I huffed in frustration.

Of course when I want to get laid everyone wants to hang out tonight.

Ten minutes later, there was a honk outside. Nina came down dressed and ready to go. Jack’s jaw dropped at the sight of her.

“Watch it Barakat; you’ll catch flies,” she smirked at him.

We all filed out and got in separate cars.

“Hey Cutie,” Spencer smirked as he leaned over and kissed me.

“Hey, I’m really sorry about this but Nina, Jack, Alex and Sabrina are coming with us. They just invited themselves,” I pouted.

“Its fine; I’ve been wanting to meet your friends anyway,” he shrugged and drove off.

He drove up into White Marsh and to Olive Garden. I grimaced unnoticeably and got out with Spencer. We walked hand-in-hand into the restaurant and waited for the others. A few minutes later, they all filed in.

“I hate Olive Garden,” Nina spat.

“Well nobody told you to come,” I laughed.

She playfully glared at me. She averted her gaze to Spencer. Her eyes widened.

“Damn girl he is too gorgeous,” she smirked at me.

Spencer laughed.

“You must be Nina,” he smiled.

“How’d you know?” she asked.

“Jenna told me you were quite blunt,” he shrugged.

“Gee thanks Jenna. That’s always the first thing I want someone to know about me,” she huffed.

“No problem. Anyway Spenc, that’s Alex, Jack and Sabrina. Guys this is Spencer,” I introduced.

“Hey, nice to meet you guys,” Spencer smiled politely.

“You too,” Jack smiled back.

Alex stayed silent, glaring at Spencer. Sabrina was checking him out like he was a piece of meat.

That slut needs to back off of my man.

We got a table and looked through our menus.

“How old are you?” Alex asked Spencer after we ordered.

“Twenty five,” Spencer answered.

“Oh, you looked much older,” he sneered.

I glared at Alex.

“So how long have you been a bartender?” Nina asked him.

“About three years. What do you girls do? I already know Alex and Jack are in All Time Low,” he shrugged.

“I make designs for Jack’s clothing line,” Nina shrugged.

“I don’t work,” Sabrina shrugged.

She’s probably worried she’ll break a nail.

“Do you listen to us?” Jack asked him.

“Yeah, you guys are pretty great,” Spencer complimented.

“Jenna I love him!” Jack grinned at me.

Spencer and I laughed. Alex kept glaring at Spencer.

“So Spencer, it must be pretty hard being a bartender and all,” Sabrina started.

“What’s so hard about it?” Spencer smirked.

“You know; dealing with all those customers and having to learn how to make all those drinks,” she shrugged.

“Its actually really easy,” he shrugged.

“Well maybe you could teach me,” she smirked.

“Or you could go to school for it,” he smirked.

I snickered quietly. Sabrina glared at us. The waiter came and served our food.

“Is there anything I can get you?” he smirked down at Nina.

“No, I’m good,” she smiled.

“Well let me know,” he smiled and walked off.

I watched as Jack glared at his retreating back.

“Someone’s got the hots for you,” I smirked at Nina.

“He was pretty cute I guess,” Nina shrugged.

“You should give him your number. He’s definitely into you,” I smiled.

“I’m not going to give him my number,” she muttered.

“What? Why, he so wants you,” I retorted.

“I don’t want him,” she shrugged.

“Nina you never pass up a night with cute guy. Are you seeing someone?” I accused.

“Of course not; I just don’t feel like dealing with anyone tonight,” she shrugged.

I looked at her skeptically and nodded.

She’s hiding something.
