That morning, I woke up with a huge migraine. I picked my head up off the comfy pillow and took in my surroundings. I sure as hell didn’t know where I was. I looked down and noticed that I was in the same clothes as last night. I hesitantly got out of the bed and strode over to the door. I opened it and walked out. I walked down the hallway and ended up in a living room. I looked on the couch and saw Spencer lying there; he was sound asleep.

How the hell did I get here?

I hesitantly walked over to him and shook his shoulder. He stirred and his eyes fluttered opened.

“Hey, you’re up,” he smiled as he sat up.

I nodded.

“Did you sleep okay?” he asked.

“Yeah, fine. Um, how did I get here?” I asked.

“Last night you had one two many shots and you were drunk off your ass. Your friends had left already so I took you home with me since my shift had ended,” he told me.

“Oh okay, um we didn’t do anything, did we?” I asked sheepishly.

“No, you were drunk and I’m not like that,” he shrugged.

“Okay, good,” I smiled and sat next to him.

“So do you remember anything about last night?” he asked.

“Not really. Why, did anything happen?” I asked.

“No, you and one of your friends were just getting into it. You two were just like glaring at each other and you argued with his girlfriend,” he smirked.

“Good, I hate that bitch,” I sneered.

“I can tell,” he laughed.

“I’m sorry you had to put up with all that last night,” I pouted.

“Don’t worry about it, it was actually really funny. What’s with you and that guy?” he asked.

“Oh, he’s my friend Alex. I don’t know what his deal is. The girl he was with is his girlfriend Sabrina. She is a total bitch. I can’t stand her,” I sneered.

“She seemed like a bitch. Your other friends seemed to be on your side though when they came over to you guys when you were arguing. Especially that redhead,” he laughed.

“Oh that’s my best friend Chey, she can’t stand Sabrina either. Neither can the other two girls, Sophie and Mandy. Sophie’s the one with the brown hair; she’s Alex’s twin. Mandy is the one with the black hair. She’s dating Rian; he’s the tan scruffy one,” I informed him.

“What about the other two guys?” he asked.

“The tall one with the black hair is Jack and the really built one is Zack. Alex, Rian, Jack and Zack are all in the band All Time Low,” I smiled.

“Oh really? I love their music,” he smiled.

“I do too,” I smiled.

“So did you like want to grab a bite to eat?” he asked.

“Sure, let me us the bathroom first,” I smiled.

He nodded and pointed me in the right direction. I walked into the bathroom and did my business. I washed my hands and ran my fingers through my hair, trying to make it presentable. I rinsed my mouth with some of his mouthwash and walked out. I met him at the door and walked out with him. He led me over to his truck and he opened the door for me. I hopped in and smiled at him as he shut it for me. He ran around to his side and got in. We made small talk on the way to breakfast and during breakfast. After breakfast, I gave him directions to the house.

“So will I be seeing you again?” he smiled.

“That depends,” I smirked.

“On what?” he asked.

“If you want to see me again,” I smiled.

He smirked at me and lightly bit his lip. He hesitantly leaned over and kissed me. I lightly kissed back, not forcing it.

“In case you haven’t caught on yet, I do want to see you again,” he smirked.

“Well good, cause after that kiss I want to see you again too,” I grinned.

He laughed lightly.

“Is tonight good for you? I don’t have to work,” he shrugged.

“Yeah, tonight’s fine. Pick me up at seven,” I smiled, kissing his cheek.

I got out and bounded up the driveway. I waved him off and walked inside.

“Where the fuck have you been?” Chey screeched as I shut the door.

“After you guys left, Spencer took me to his place. He let me crash there,” I shrugged.

“Did ya’ll sleep together?” she asked.

“Of course not,” I laughed.

“You could’ve called,” she grumbled.

“Chill, I’m fine. Now come, you have to help me pick out an outfit,” I smiled and pulled her up the steps.

“For what?” she asked.

“Because I have a date with Spencer tonight,” I smirked and walked into my room.

“Ah! Move, I’m picking out your outfit,” she grinned.

“Oh my God I’m so excited for you! That boy is drop dead gorgeous,” Chey grinned as she helped me get ready.

“Isn’t he?” I sighed dreamily.

“Now what about Alex?” she asked as she tossed me a pair of heels.

“Alex has Sabrina and I have Spencer now,” I shrugged.

“But, you still like Alex,” she sang.

“So what? Are you going to kill me for liking two different guys?” I laughed.

“Who; Alex and your new boy toy?” Jack smirked as he walked in and plopped down on my bed.

“What did I tell you about eavesdropping?” Chey scoffed.

“Chill baby girl,” he smiled.

She rolled her eyes and handed me my purse as we heard the doorbell ring.

“Have fun,” Chey smiled.

“Get laid!” Jack called as I walked out.

“You’re a pig!” I heard Chey yell at him.

I rolled my eyes at them and walked downstairs.

“Where are you going?” Alex asked from the couch.

“I have a date tonight,” I smirked as I opened the door.

Spencer stood their wearing a pair of black jeans, a black button down shirt and a red tie. His sleeves were rolled up to his elbows and his tie was loosened slightly.

“Hey beautiful,” he smirked.

“Hey yourself,” I smiled.

“You ready?” he asked.

I smiled and nodded. We walked out and I shut the door behind us. We got in the truck and he drove off.

“I was thinking we could grab some dinner and catch a late movie,” he told.

“That sounds fun,” I smiled.

A few minutes later he pulled up to a small café.

“Sorry its not much,” he shrugged as we walked inside.

“Its fine,” I smiled.

“So who do you live in that house with?” he asked over dinner.

“With Chey, Sophie and Mandy; we all chipped in for it. The guys stay with us a lot too,” I shrugged.

“Do your parents live in Baltimore?” he asked.

“Yup, what about yours?” I asked.

“They live in Annapolis. I just live here,” he shrugged.

“That’s cool. So did you always want to be a bartender?” I asked.

“Well it wasn’t my first choice as a career, but its still a job. I actually went to medical school to be a doctor,” he smiled.

“What happened to that?” I asked.

“It got expensive,” he muttered.

“I’m sorry,” I muttered.

“Don’t worry about it, its not your fault,” he smiled.

I smiled in return. After we ate, Spencer paid for dinner and we walked out.

“I was thinking we could just walk to the movies; its only three blocks away,” he shrugged.

“That’s fine,” I nodded.

As we were walking to the theatre, our hands kept brushing together. Finally, Spencer grabbed my hand and laced our fingers together. I smiled to myself and gave his hand a light squeeze. We made it to the theatre and decided to see Super 8.

“You were so scared,” Spencer laughed as we walked out of the theatre.

“It was a scary movie, what do you want from me?” I laughed.

“You were clinging to my arm the entire time,” he laughed as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

I held onto his hand as we walked back to the truck. Spencer drove me home and walked me up to the door.

“I had a really good time,” I smiled.

“I did too,” he smirked.

Hesitantly, I leaned up and pressed my lips to his. Smiling, Spencer kissed me back and cupped my face. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pressed myself closer to him. We both pulled away breathlessly.

“Goodnight Cutie,” he smiled.

“Night,” I smiled as I walked inside.

“He seems like a prick; he’s moving too fast,” Alex muttered, startling me.

I looked over at him and noticed he was watching Spencer through the window.

“Don’t be jealous Alex,” I smirked as I walked up the steps.
