The next morning Jenna woke up to the sun shining in her face. She smiled blissfully as she remembered last night’s events. She rolled over to snuggle closer to Alex, but she only rolled onto his empty side of the bed. Furrowing her eyebrows, she sat up and listened for the shower. Realizing that he wasn’t in there, she stood up and pulled on her lingerie, one of his shirts and one of his hoodies. She padded across the hall and quickly used the bathroom. She washed her hands and walked downstairs. She walked into the kitchen and saw Alex cooking breakfast in his boxers. Grinning, she walked up behind him and wrapped her arms around his torso.

“Morning sexy!” she smiled.

“Morning,” he smiled as he turned around and wrapped her in his arms.

“Since when can you cook?” she asked as she rested her head on his shoulder.

“I secretly watch Food Network when I’m alone,” he laughed lightly.

“Aw you’re so cute!” she cooed as she kissed his cheek.

“I’m fucking adorable! Now lets eat,” he smiled as he pecked her lips.

They made small talk as they ate. Afterwards, they washed the dishes together. Jenna smirked as she scooped up a handful of bubbles and swiped it across his face. Alex gaped at her as she giggled like mad.

“Now you’re going to clean me,” he smirked as he leant down and threw her over his shoulder.

“Where are we going?” she laughed as he headed for the stairs.

“To take a shower,” he replied nonchalantly.

After their hot shower sex, the two got dressed and Alex dug out Jenna’s car. After he finished, Jenna walked over to him and wrapped her arms around his neck.

“So where do we go from here?” she mumbled into his neck.

“Well do you want to be with me?” he asked as he leaned her against the car.

She smiled and nodded.

“Say it,” he coaxed.

“I want to be with you,” she smiled.

“I want to be with you too. So I’ll cancel the wedding when Sabrina gets back from her parents’ tonight,” he smiled.

“And I’ll break up with Spencer tonight,” she smiled.

“Are you sure this is what you want? I just want you to be happy,” he muttered.

Jenna smiled and leaned up, kissing him softly.

“You make me happy Alex,” she smiled.

Alex smiled and kissed her once more.

“I better get going,” she muttered.

Alex nodded and opened the car door for her. She climbed inside and he leaned in and eagerly kissed her.

“I’ll be over your place later,” he smiled as he pecked her cheek.

She nodded and smiled at him as he shut the door. She waved to him as she drove off to her house. Once she parked out front, she got out and walked inside to find Nina sprawled out on the couch.

“Hangover?” Jenna laughed.

“Major hangover,” Nina grumbled.

“How’d you get home last night?” Jenna asked.

“Sara drove my car here while Spencer followed us. Spencer gave her a ride home. Just as a heads up, I think they have a thing for each other,” Nina mumbled.

“Good, I hope they get together after I break things off with Spencer,” Jenna muttered.

“So how’s Alex in bed?” Nina mumbled as she flipped onto her side to face Jenna.

“How do you know I slept with him?” Jenna asked.

“You just said you were breaking up with Spencer, you never came home last night, you’re wearing the same clothes as yesterday and you have this weird happy glow to you. Also, I’ve noticed that you have this really big grin when you get laid. Now start talking!” Nina demanded.

“He is so amazing! He told me he loved me and I didn’t even hesitate to say it back. God he makes me so happy!” Jenna gushed.

“So when are you breaking up with Spencer?”

“Soon, I’ll ask him to come over later tonight before he goes to work. Alex is going to break up with Sabrina when she gets home.”

“I’m happy for you baby girl. Its about damn time you got your happy ending,” Nina smiled lightly.

“Thanks Nina, that means a lot. God we’re sappy!” Jenna laughed.

“I know, now that our love fest is over, I’m going back to sleep,” Nina muttered.

Jenna opened her mouth to speak when they heard someone gallop down the steps. Sophie came down and grabbed her purse from the chair. She walked past them and out the door without even glancing at them. Jenna glanced over at Nina.

“What a bitch,” Nina mumbled as she buried her face in a pillow.

J- Hey could you come over? We really need to talk.

S- Uh, yeah, sure. I’ll be over in about half an hour. I have to be at work in an hour anyway.

J- Alright I’ll see you then.

Jenna hung up on Spencer and walked downstairs. She started cleaning the living room for whenever Alex stopped by that night.

“Whatcha doing?” Mandy asked as she plopped down on the couch.

“Cleaning, Alex is stopping by tonight,” Jenna grinned.

“Sexy Alex time?” Mandy smirked.

“How’d you know?” Jenna asked.

“Nina told me about last night,” Mandy shrugged.

“We gossip a lot don’t we?” Jenna asked.

“Yeah, oh I heard Sophie might be moving in with Zack!” Mandy announced.

“Who’d you hear that from?” Jenna asked.

“From Rian; he heard it from Jack who heard it from Zack,” Mandy smiled.

“We really need to cut back on the gossiping,” Jenna laughed.

Their laughter died down when the doorbell rang.

“Who’s that?” Mandy asked.

“Spencer; its time to face the music,” Jenna muttered as she made her way to the door.

She opened it and Spencer smiled down at her.

“Hey beautiful,” he smiled as he leaned down to kiss her.

She turned her head and he got her cheek instead.

“We need to talk,” she muttered.

She led the way inside and upstairs.

“Hey Spencer!” Mandy greeted from the couch.

“Hey,” he muttered as he followed Jenna up the steps.

They walked into her bedroom and sat on the edge of the bed.

“I’m really sorry about last night; I should’ve just minded my own business,” Spencer apologized.

“I’m sorry too; I shouldn’t of went off on you when you were only trying to help,” Jenna smiled lightly.

“That’s not what this is about though is it?” he asked.

“I think we should break up,” she blurted out.

Spencer sighed.

“I figured this was going to happen,” he laughed lightly.

“You’re not mad?” she asked.

“No, I just want you to be happy. This is about Alex isn’t it?” he asked.

“Yeah, I’m really sorry Spencer. Its always been him though,” she shrugged.

“I guess I never really had a chance huh?” he asked.

“You’re a great guy Spencer and I really care about you, we’re just not right for each other,” she shrugged.

“I guess you’re right. Friends?” he asked as he opened his arms for a hug.

“Of course,” she smiled as she leaned into his embrace.

He hugged her tightly before whispering a single request.

“Can I have just one last kiss?”

Jenna looked up at him and hesitated before smiling and nodded.

Alex parked outside of Jenna’s house with a smile on his face. He bounded up the steps and walked right inside.

“Hey Mandy,” he smiled lightly.

“Hey,” she mumbled as she kept her eyes glued to the TV.

He laughed lightly and made his way up the steps. He walked into Jenna’s room, preparing a raunchy greeting, but his smile fell when he saw Jenna wrapped up in Spencer’s arms. He glared at the two as she lightly kissed him. Seeing enough, he cleared his throat, catching their attention. Jenna gasped and flipped around to see a fuming Alex.

“Alex its not what it looks like!” she defended as she stood up.

She cursed herself as she realized how stupid she sounded.

“So you’re telling me that I didn’t see you kissing him?” he spat.

“No, I mean yes, just let me explain!”

“I think I’ve seen enough. You can fucking have her!” Alex spat at Spencer.

He turned on his heel and walked back down the steps.

“Alex wait!” Jenna called.

She caught his arm before he walked out the door. He roughly shrugged her off and turned to her.

“I am so glad I didn’t break things off with Sabrina yet. I can’t believe I ever trusted you,” he spat.

“Alex please,” she pleaded.

“No! I’m fucking done with you,” he barked as he walked out the door, slamming it shut behind him.

“Jenna I am so sorry!” Spencer apologized as he stepped in front of her.

“Its not your fault Spenc. You should be getting to work,” she muttered as she blinked back her tears.

“So no hard feelings?” he asked as he stood in the doorway.

“No, oh and by the way, I think Sara likes you,” she smiled lightly.

“She is pretty cool,” Spencer smiled.

Jenna nodded and tightly hugged him.

“Take care Spencer,” she muttered.

“You too Jenna; I hope things work out with Alex,” he muttered.

“Yeah, me too.”

Spencer trudged into the club later that night and clocked in. He walked behind the bar and started serving customers.

“Hey Spencer!” Sara smiled as she sat in front of him.

“Hey you, back again tonight?” he smirked.

“I was bored so I decided to come see you. You okay; you seem a little off?” she pointed out.

“Jenna and I broke up,” he shrugged.

“Aw, I’m sorry,” she muttered.

“It was bound to happen. It was because of Alex. I just want her to be happy,” he muttered.

“Well what about you? Are you happy?” she asked him.

Spencer smiled and looked at her.

“I think I will be,” he smiled as he placed his hand over hers.
