What's My Age Again?

"So she told you everything?" Kellin asked me. I had texted him and asked if he could come over after school.

"Yeah I know about my...condition." I sighed. I felt Kellin's hand on my knee and I looked up to see him smiling at me.

"Why are you so upset? This doesn't have to be a bad thing." He said, trying to make me feel better.

"I'm a freak of nature, Kellin." I complained.

"You're a special human being! Just think about it. You get to have kids with whoever you want instead of adopting. I wish I was that lucky."

"It seems more like a curse than a blessing." I said and he rolled his eyes at me.

"Are you going to tell Alex?"

"Um no not yet. I know I will probably have to one day, but I don't want to do it any time soon." I said.

"Yeah just be careful when you're with him."

"I definitely will be now. But I owe you an apology, I shouldn't have gotten angry at you for not telling me. I get why you felt like you couldn't tell me. So I'm sorry." I apologized.

"No it's okay. I probably would have felt the same way if you were holding out on telling me something too." He chuckled.

"Well I'm happy we're over this."

"Yeah me too. Plus now we can go to the guys Christmas dinner party together." He said.

"Christmas dinner?" I asked. Our moms weren't going to let us skip out on dinner with them.

"Yeah, it's not on Christmas. It's this weekend before. Vic says they throw one every year."

"Oh that sounds fun!"

"Awesome so you're going with me. It starts at seven on Saturday and ends at like midnight so we for once won't really be breaking our curfew." He chuckled.

"Cool."

Alex called me a few minutes later. He said he would between his interviews to check on me.

"Hey, are you feeling any better now?" He asked.

"Yeah I feel a lot better. Thanks for checking on me."

"Of course! I was worried throughout the entire interview."

"What interview was it?" I asked.

"Rock Sound. They asked us to answer questions about each other." He laughed. "It was pretty fun."

"How many more do you have today?"

"Uh I think three. Matt's been trying to get us to promote this tour so we'll be interviewed non-stop until it starts." He complained.

"When does the tour actually start?"

"I'm pretty sure it starts in March and ends in April."

"Wait it's only a month long?!" I asked shocked.

"Yep!"

"I thought you'd be gone for like six months."

"No just one month, then we come back for a break and then we'll go back on tour a few months later." He told me and I exhaled in relief. One month away from Alex was doable. I would rather we weren't apart, but one month is better than what I thought.

"We won't be apart for too long!" I exclaimed and he chuckled.

"Yeah.” He said sounding unsure. “But I should go. We're going to eat then go do another interview."

"Okay. Have fun." I told him.

"I'll try. Bye."

"Bye." I hung up and put my phone on its charger.

Kellin was laying on my bed talking to Vic. I didn’t notice Kellin called him. I laid down next to him and listened to their conversation, like he normally did when I talked to Alex. He rolled his eyes when I placed my head next to the phone so I could hear Vic when he talked.

"I'm not doing anything tonight. Why do you ask?" Kellin said flirtatiously to Vic.

"Because I want you to come over tonight." Vic told him.

"Why?" Kellin asked jokingly.

"You know why." Vic chuckled.

"I want to hear you say it." Kellin giggled.

"Do I?" I whispered and Kellin hit my arm.

"I want you." Vic said.

"Mm you want me to do what?"

"I want you to let me fuck you."

I grimaced but continued to listen anyways.

"Okay I'll be over tonight." Kellin quickly agreed.

"Good. I think I'll be home by eight."

"I'll be over a little bit later than that."

"Alright. I gotta get going now. I love you."

"I love you too. Bye."

"Bye."

I was shocked to hear them say 'I love you' to each other. I waited to make sure Kellin hung up before I said anything.

"When did you two start saying 'I love you?’” I asked him.

"Oh um last week. It kind of slipped out when we were having sex and he said it back so we just started saying it to each other." He told me.

"Oh that's so cute. Not the story, but the fact that you two say it." I said and he laughed.

"I really do love Vic. More than any guy I dated before." He gushed.

"More than Jesse?" I asked. That was the last guy he dated and claimed to be head-over-hills for him.

"Hell yeah! Jesse was an asshole." He complained.

"I thought that's why you like him?"

"Well yeah but that shit got annoying after a while. Vic is so much better than him." He laughed.

"That's good. Was he doing interviews too?"

"Yeah they're trying to promote their tour."

"That's what Alex was doing too." I told him.

My mom came to my door and stopped our conversation. "Boys I made food if you two are hungry." She told us.

"I am starving." Kellin said and got up. I followed behind them to the kitchen.

My mom had made quesadillas for us. Kellin and I grabbed two each and then sat at the table with my mom. She had to work later so she was going to eat and go rest up.

"Oh um Joyce I forgot to apologize for hinting to Jack that there was something he didn't know." Kellin said apologetically.

"It's okay, Kellin. I shouldn't have forced you to keep such a big secret from him. It's good that he knows now, I couldn't keep it from him forever." She chuckled and ran her fingers through my hair.

"I would have been fine never knowing about it." I mumbled and she playfully rolled her eyes at me.

"You needed to know so you could be prepared for anything." She told me.

"I guess. Wait! Is there any way I can get those parts removed?" I asked hopefully.

"Um I think so, but are you sure you want to take such a drastic measure?" She asked.

"Yes I'm positive! It'll be like I'm back to normal."

"You're already normal." Kellin sighed. He hated to hear me talk bad about myself.

"No normal guy I know has ovaries and a uterus." I complained.

"But you didn't even notice you had those things either. Just because you know now doesn't mean anything has changed about you."

"Yeah it did. I'm no longer a male, I'm a hermaphrodite."

"No you're a intersex male. We don't use hermaphrodite because it heavily stigmatized." My mom corrected me.

"Well whatever you want to call it. I can't say I'm a normal male anymore. Can we look into surgery? Please Mom!!" I begged.

"Um I'll ask some of the surgeons and doctors what they think is the best route. I just really want you to think about if you really want surgery or not." She worried.

"I do! I want to be normal again." I said.

"We'll talk about it more later." She sighed.

"Thank you." I told her and she nodded.

"I think you're fine the way you are, but if that's what will make you happy then go for it." Kellin said.

"I just don't want this burden for the rest of my life."

My mom had just left for work leaving me at home by myself. Since she was leaving that meant Kellin's mom was probably gone too. He was probably on his way to Vic's by now. They were going to spend the night having sex with no consequences. I had to take extra precautions now because one mistake could end with me becoming pregnant. That's why I wanted surgery to remove all these female parts. I needed it done before Alex or I could make any mistakes.

I decided to call Alex to see how the rest of his interviews went and because I missed spending time with him. I picked up my phone and called him. It took a little while for him to answer but he finally did.

"Hello?" He said in a groggy voice.

"Hey, sorry did I wake you?" I asked.

"Yeah but its okay. I just laid down for a little. I didn't mean to fall asleep."

"Oh. Well how were the rest of your interviews?"

"They were okay. We got asked mostly the same questions so it was kind of repetitive." He yawned. "How was your day?"

"It was long since I didn't go to class. I'm going to go back in the morning." I told him.

"That's good. Are you going to um the Christmas dinner party thing this Saturday?" He asked still trying to full wake up.

"Yeah Kellin just told me about it today. We'll be there. Will you?"

"Mhmm I'm going to help them cook dinner."

"You can cook?" I giggled.

"Oh my god yes! A lot of our fan base doesn't think I can cook either but I can, really well." He said.

"I don't know it just seems like you would catch something on fire." I joked.

"That's it! You're coming over Friday night and I'm making dinner for you." He demanded.

"Okay." I laughed.

"I want an apology for insulting my call culinary skills once you try my food." He pouted.

"I will apologize if it's really good."

"You better." He yawned. "I don't want to fall asleep on you, so I'll call you when you get out of class tomorrow.

"Okay. Bye."

"Bye."

I was kind of sad that we couldn't talk longer or hang out tonight. I understood that he was really tired though. Plus we were going to be hanging out all weekend.

**Friday Night**

I was on my way to eat dinner with Alex at his house. He wouldn't tell me what he was making because he said it was a surprise. As long as it wasn't made of mostly vegetables I would probably eat it.

I told my mom that Jenna's family invited me over for dinner and she believed me. So I had the whole night to spend with Alex since she would be at work by the time I should have been getting home.

I parked in front of the house and got out. I went to the front door and rang the doorbell. A few seconds later Alex opened the door for me. He looked kind of off, but I didn't want to ask him what was bothering him this early in the night.

"Hey Babe." He hugged and kissed me.

"Hey! It smells good in here." I complimented him. Whatever he was making smell delicious.

"Yeah that's dinner. Come on, it's ready." He grabbed my hand and pulled me to the dinner table. There were flowers in a vase sitting in middle and candles burning on the opposite ends of it. He had two plates filled with food and two wine glasses filled with white wine on the table. He pulled out my chair for me and I sat down thanking him.

"So what is this called?" I asked as he sat.

"It's lemon chicken piccata and under it is asparagus." He answered. "Try it."

"Okay." I chuckled. I used my fork and knife to cut a piece of the chicken then I ate it. "Mmm." I hummed. It was really delicious. I thought the lemon part would make it disgusting but it actually made it pretty good.

"Say it." He demanded.

I playfully rolled my eyes before saying, "I'm sorry I assumed you weren't a good cook."

He laughed and began eating his own food. He ate the chicken with the asparagus, but I ate around it. I'd never had asparagus but I assumed it was gross because of the way it looked. The only vegetables my mom could ever get me to eat was broccoli, potatoes, and tomatoes.

"Where is Zack and Rian?" I asked.

"Rian stayed with Cass tonight and I believe Zack went to eat with his parents." He told me.

"Oh so we're alone?"

"Yep." He smiled. I picked up my glass and took a sip of the wine he had for us.

"Are you eating around the asparagus?" Alex asked, chuckling.

"Maybe." I giggled.

"Oh my god would you just try a piece?"

"I don't wanna." I whined.

"Please! For me." He made puppy dog eyes at me. I wanted to say no but I couldn't. Not to the face he was giving me.

I sighed and picked up a piece. I looked at it then looked back to Alex. He nodded and I took a bite of it. It wasn't bad, the lemon juice actually made it taste better. I could tell I wouldn't like it so much with the juice though.

"It's um good." I told him.

"Mhm you're lying."

"No it's good because of the lemon juice. I don't think I would like it by itself. But it's not like your fault I don't like this vegetable. You're still a great cook." I said.

"You're the pickiest eater I've ever met." He took his fork and ate some of the asparagus on my plate.

"I can't help it! I just like basic foods." I said and he chuckled.

"I really need to fix that."

We finished the rest of our food and wine and then Alex put our plates in the sink and dragged me to his room. I knew where this was leading and I didn't mind.

We both just sat on his bed together. Alex was really quiet for a moment, thinking to himself. It seemed like something was wrong. I placed my hand on his thigh and rubbed it up and down calmly. He sighed and placed his hand over mine.

"I really wanted to wait to tell you this, but I can't keep this from you." He told me. "So um me and the guys might be moving like right after the Spring Fever Tour." He stated.

"Moving where?" I asked nervously.

"...New York."

"New York? B-But why?" I stammered. I felt like I was just hit in the stomach.

"We've been trying to switch to a new record label and we found out today that Interscope Records is actually considering signing us. We would need to be closer to the label if they actually did take us."

"Oh... I'm um so happy you guys." I really was happy his dreams were coming true, but I was hurt he was going to have to leave me. I thought I would only be a month without him not this.

"Come here." He whispered and opened his arms. I slid over and he lifted me into him lap. I laid my head on his shoulder and began to cry.

"Shh no please don't cry!" He begged and rubbed my back. I couldn't help it this news was tragic.

"I'm sorry." I whimpered. I didn't stop though.

"This doesn't have to be a bad thing. I was thinking that we could visit each other at least once a month." He suggested. That didn't sound realistic with his touring schedules. "Unless you're not comfortable doing the whole long distance thing." He mumbled.

"Of course I am." I sniffled.

"Okay." He exhaled in relief and kissed me on the cheek. "Well we still have months before we have to worry about this."

"I know." I pulled away from him and wiped my eyes. "But the idea of being so far apart from you is literally heart-breaking."

He wiped away a few tears that I missed, with his thumbs. Then he began to kiss me. I let him push me back on his bed so that he was lying on top of me. He kissed down my jaw to my neck and stopped. I guess sex was the best way to keep our minds off of everything.

He placed his hand on the end of my shirt and slightly pulled at it. I lifted up and helped him pull it off my body. He went back to my neck and slowly kissed down my chest. He bit and licked over one of my nipples, turning me on. I put my hand on his shirt and pulled it like he did mine. I needed this with him.

"Are you going to stay with me tonight?" He asked as he pulled his shirt and pants off.

"Yes." I answered.

He helped me out of the rest of my clothes. Then he got the lube out of his nightstand drawer. I couldn't help but to notice that he didn't grab a condom and after what I learned a few days ago, we needed one.

"Do you have protection?" I asked quietly and he chuckled.

"Yeah I bought more." He reached into the nightstand and pulled one out of the box. I exhaled in relief and let him continue what he was doing.

Alex poured the lube on his fingers and inserted them one at a time until I was stretched out enough. He opened the condom wrapper and slid it on himself. I sat up to watch and make sure it didn't rip anything since I had to be extra careful.

He pushed me back and got back on top of me between my legs. His left hand held on to my hips while his right hand guided his himself inside of me. I groaned as he pushed into me slowly. Once he was all the way in he waited a few seconds then he slowly pulled out and pushed back in. It didn't feel like the normal sex we had, it felt more passionate.

"Oh God Alex." I moaned as he pressed dead on my spot. Even though he was moving slowly he was still thrusting hard into me.

We made eye contact as I took everything he gave me. It made things ten times hotter this way. I couldn't continue to keep the contact though because my eyes kept closing; it felt so good.

Alex laid all the way on top of me and began kissing and biting my neck. He was probably going to leave more hickeys than usual this time, but I didn't mind. I moved my head to the side to give him more room to bite on my neck. He licked up the side of my neck until he reached my ear.

"You are literally the tightest." He whispered in my ear. I would have been jerking myself right then, but I didn't need too since Alex's stomach was rubbing against my hard on.

He reached and grabbed both of my hands with his and raised them above our heads. He started speeding up meaning he was close.

"Fuck I'm gonna come." He groaned. He thrusted into me a few more times, then he came.

He pushed into me while he rode out his high and I came on both of our stomachs. I took a deep breath as he pulled out of me. He pulled off the condom and I quickly checked to make sure he shot off inside of it, which he did. He threw it away and grabbed some Kleenex and wiped both of our stomachs off.

After the cleanup process was done he laid back down next to me and pulled me close to him. I snuggled into his chest and he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I don't know how I'm going to be away from you for so long." He sighed.

"I don't either."

He held me tighter and we both fell asleep.

Everything happens for a reason!
I combined two chapters for this one, that's why it's like all over the place. I did that with two other chapters in the beginning of the story so instead of thirty-six chapters there are only like thirty-four or something like that.
