Jet Pack Blues

Seth's POV

I was woken up by someone opening my door.
I sat up slightly too see who it was.
It was dad.
"You have school." he said quietly.
"I'm not going." i mumbled and laid back down again and Tyler moved back into my side
"How come?" he asked.
"Never got in until 3 this morning and I need to speak to you and I clearly can't be bothered to actually go to school." i said slow falling asleep.
"okay, I'll see you in a bit then." he said and shut my door quietly abd moved onto the next person he had to get up.
I looked at Tyler abd he was still sound asleep.
I smiled and went back to sleep.

When I woke up next Tyler was still cuddled into my side and was tracing his fingers along my ribs.
He noticed I was awake and stopped.
"why'd you stop?" i asked and looked at him.
"thought it would creep you out and I was just thinking." he said quietly
"what was you thinking about?" i asked.
"Its nothing." he whispered.
"You sure because you can talk to me." i said.
He nodded and i got out of bed.
"I'm going to speak to dad about what you said last night." i said.
"if he doesn't want me to stay here then I can always go and find Drew and live with him." he said and looked down.
"he will want you too stay. You know as well as i do that if Drew doesnt want to be found then he won't be found." i said.
"But it's worth a try." he said quietly.
I went back over to the bed and sat on his legs and made him look at me.
"your not goung anywhere okay. I can't lose my best friend." i said quietly.
I really wanted to kiss him but it would just freak him out.
He smiled.
"let me speak to dad and then we can get your things and then you'll be stuck with me and everyone else in this mad house." i said.
He chuckled and I got off his legs and walked out the room as i pulled a jumper which wasn't mine on.

Dad was in the kitchen with Rowan.
"Hey bud." he said and looked at me.
"Hey." i said and went over to Rowan and kissed the top of his head.
"i need to ask you a huge favour. It's bloody huge one as well." i said and looked at him.
"what might that be?" he asked and sat opposite me.
Tylerr has pretty much been thrown out. Is it okay if he stays with us?" i said.
Dad thought about it.
"we haven't the room Seth." he said quietly.
"i thought you would understand!" i said loudly which made Rowan jump.
"let me finish Seth." he said.
I looked down.
"he can stay here. But I want no funny business coming at thw front door. He can stay here as I know you like him as well." He said.
I felt my cheeks warm up.
"ah you do!" he said smiling wide.
"so what if I do, he won't like a fucked up person like me." i said quietly.
"i used to think the same about pa . Now look at us, 4 kids later and we're still happy and he doesn't think that I'm fucked up and I was wrose than you." He said.
I looked at him.
"if you like him then go after him." he said quietly and got up and started to clean the kitchen.
"Does that mean Tyler can stay?" i asked.
"Yes he can stay. I have to talk to pa about it. But If you two are gonna fuck abd all make sure you keep the noise down and put a hat or a sock on the door so I know not to walk in thw room." he chuckled.
"Well that won't be happening for a while." i said and got up and went upstairs.

I walked in my room and jumped on the bed which made Tyler jump.
"dad said you can stay,he's gonna talk to pa about it." i said.
He smiled.
"we'll get your stuff later but right now I need more sleep." i said and flopped next to him.
He chuckled and started to mess with my hair for some reason.
I smiled and slowly went to sleep.

A quick bad update because I'm using my phone and im at work as well and I'm using all my data as well because the wifi is shite...
Wanted to go into more detail but can't as my battery is also dying and I haven't go my phone charger...
