Jet Pack Blues

Jacks POV

We left the kids downstairs aruging about what film they wanted to watch.
Alex had put Rowan to bed and we went to our room and went on a Harry Potter marathon.

"Jack, this gunk won't get of my stomach." Alex whined as he tried to get the gunk from eariler of his stomach from the hospital.
I rolled onto my front and looked at him.
"Have a shower." I said.
"I have, the fucking stuff is still sticking to my stomach and it's really annoying me because the covers keep sticking to me." He whined again.
I chuckled.
"Maybe you shouldn't get pregnant." I said and poked his stomach.
"Maybe you should stop fucking me without a condom." He said and poke my chest.
"Well we both know what we're like." I said.
Alex chuckled.
"But seriously, can you try and get some of the gunk off me please." Alex said.
I moved and sat on his legs.
He handed the baby wipes we kept in the room since Rowan seems to enjoy making a mess in the room.

I started to wipe his belly and Alex smiled.
"What?" I smiled and carried on wiping his stomach over.
"Nothing. Just watching you brooding." He said quietly.
"Who said I was brooding?" I asked.
"I know. Always know when your getting broody, all I can say is you've started to get broody really early." He said.
"And you haven't?" I chuckled.
"I'm the pregnant one, I'm allowed to start being broody early." He smiled.
I smiled and kissed the bump.
I looked up and Alex was smiling.
He sat up and rested his forehead against mine.
"Broody bastard." Alex chuckled.
"You should know." I said quietly and kissed him

The door opened and Alex looked to see who it was.
"I'm not bothering you two am I?" Riley asked.
"Not at all." I said and Riley moved and sat on the bed and looked down.
I got of Alex and he moved and pulled Riley to his side.
"What's up Ri?" He asked quietly.
"Nothing I just wanted a cuddle." He said.
Alex kissed the top of his forehead.
"You and Kit had a argument?" I asked.
"Not as such." He said quietly.
"Sweetie, as much as I love having cuddles with you, you can't run away from what has been said. Go down and talk about it. Even fuck it out. Just don't go to bed angry. It doesn't help and it probably means more trouble for the both of you in the morning." Alex said.
Riley looked at me.
"It's true. Trust us, it's always better to talk about it and not go to sleep hoping it'll be better because it won't be. Unless you want to spend the night on the sofa." I said.
Alex looked at me.
"Fine I'll go and talk to him. But if you find him on the sofa don't be surprised." Riley said and got up.
"Don't be too loud and wake Rowan up otherwise I'll be having words with the pair of you." Alex said seriously.
"We won't. Thanks dad." He said and kissed the top off his head.
"Thanks pa." He said and hugged me which I returned and he walked out the room.
"Damn what has the poor bastard done this time." I sighed and moved and sat next to Alex.
Alex chuckled and cuddled into my side.
"I don't have a clue but whatever it is I think he's spending the night on the sofa." Alex said and pulled the covers over us.

Alex was slowly falling asleep.
"Babe lie down otherwise you'll hurt yourself." I said quiwtly.
Alex nodded and moved and lead down and got comfy.
I did the same and Alex was flat out.
I smiled and i put my hand on Roo.
Alex sighed and i looked and he was smiling a little.
I felt him put his hand on top of mine.
With that i slowly fell asleep.
