Jacks POV

We was sat in the hospital waiting for Alex to be checked on.
Everyone was looking at Alex since he was only wearing a t-shirt and his scars was very visable.
"Wish people would stop looking at me." Alex said quietly.
"Just ignore them." I said and kissed the top of his head.
"Its just annoying." He grumbled.
"I know it is but just ignore them, because all which matters is why we are here and hopefully you can stop coming here if ypou have put more weight on." I said.
Alex sighed a little.
"But i havent put any more weight on. If anything i have lost weight." He said quietly.
I pulled him to my side.
"That doesn't matter. As long as you slowly put weight on that all which matters." I said and kissed his cheek.
Alex smiled a little.
"Mr Barakat?" A doctor said.
"Fuck sake, its Gaskarth but I'll put up with that." Alex grumbled and got up and I followed and Alex caught hold of my hand as we walked to the doctors office.

"Okay that's everything done. You've lost a bit of weight has something happened since the last time as you was doing really well." The doctor said and sat in the chair.
"We lost one of our children a few weeks ago." I said quietly .
"I'm sorry to hear that." The doctor said quietly.
"How often have you been eating Alex?" The doctor asked.
"Um, twice a week maybe three but I've been really busy my older kids are being buggers and the little one is running circles round us." Alex said.
I looked at him as this was the first to me.
"I don't want a lecture Jack." He said quietly.
I sighed and smiled.
"If you going to get better you have to eat Alex." The doctor said.
"You think I don't know that!" Alex snapped and glared at the doctor.
"The last few weeks have been hell. I'm sorry if I haven't eaten as much as I should but its either not eating for a few days or cutting myself. I vote for the no eating." Alex said.
The doctor sighed.
"I'm gonna have do a blood test to make sure everything is working okay." The doctor said.
"Knock yourself out." Alex said and offered the doctor his arm.
The doctor took some blood.
"I'll be back and I'll give your results back when they are done." The doctor said and left the room.

"Why didn't you tell me you wasn't eating." Jack said quietly.
"Because your hurting as well Jack. I can't always come running to you when I have a issuse with eating. I did it because I didn't want you to worry about me. You need to think about yourself for a second." He said and looked at me.
"But its my job to look after you." I said.
Alex moved and sat on my lap.
"No, your job is doing whatever you do at work. That's your job. I'm someone who you love and care about. You don't get paid to look after me. It's in your own interest to care for me." He said quietly and kissed me.
"I love you." I said quietly.
Alex smiled and kissed me.
"Ditto." He said quietly.
I looked at him confused as he never said that.
Alex chuckled.
The doctor came in and Alex got off my lap and sat on the chair.
"So you blood test results are back and they are good. But there is something else. When did you two last have sex?" The doctor asked.
"What's our sex life got to do with my results?" Alex asked confused.
"Because your pregnant." The doctor said.
"What?" Me and Alex said together.
"Alex your 2 months pregnant." The doctor said.
Alex looked down thinking.
"The question is Alex are you going to keep it?" The doctor asked.
"Yes!." Alex said without even thinking.
I looked at him.
"We lost Sky. Maybe this is our chance to have another one." Alex said quietly.
I smiled and nodded at him.
"There's a risk." The doctor said.
"I don't care. I'm keep this baby and you are not talking me or my husband out of it. We lost our baby and I am fucked if I going to kill this one." Alex said and got up.
I followed and we walked out the room.
I shut the door behind us.
Alex turned round and looked at me.
He sqealed a little and i pulled him into a hug.
"2 months? Sky was still alive." Alex said sadly.
I put a finger under his chin and made him look at me.
"Don't think about that. We have this little one to look forward to now. Maybe we needed this." I said and kissed the top of his head.
Alex looked at me.
"Yeah we need something to cheer us up." He said quietly.
"And now you have an excuse to eat." I said.
Alex just rolled his eyes.

We got home and Tyler was the only one home.
"Why are you home and where is everyone?" Alex asked and sat at the table.
"Studying. Rowan was driving me crazy so Seth took him out somewhere." He said and looked at some study books.
"How's it going?" Alex asked and sat next to him on the floor.
"None of it is sinking in." Tyler said.
"I know that feeling." I said and went and made them both a twea since Alex was helping Tyler.

I sensed loads of tension between everyone and so did Alex.
Rowan was in bed so it meant we could all talk about it.
"Aid can you come downstairs please." I said.
"Currently busy with school work." She said.
"Aidan please!" I said and she looked at me.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"I don't know and only way we can work that out." I said and Aidan walked out the room and went downstairs.
I followed.

"What's going on guys?" Alex asked.
"Nothing." Seth said.
"Bullshit." I said.
"Fine. We feel like all we do is looking after Rowan. We understand that things are tough at the moment but he wants you two and all you seem to do is push him away." Riley said.
"I'm sorry guys." Alex said and looked down.
"It's not your fault dad." Aidan said.
"It is though because if I wasnt so hung up about what has happened then I would realise what was happening." Alex said and got up and walked out the room.
"What's going on with dad?" Seth asked.
"Honestly I don't know. Something is ticking in his head but I don't know what." I said and started thinking.
"Are you guys okay? I know me and dad haven't been here for you lot lately." I said.
"We're fine. We're just worried that's all." Riley said.
Alex walked back into the room.
"So... I'm pregnant again." He said quietly.
"What?" Seth asked.
"You heard." Alex said quietly.
"How long?" Aidan asked.
"2 months." Alex said quietly.
You could sense the the mood drop a little.
"Maybe this is for the best. Like it can help us all get over what has happened and gives us something to look forward to." Riley said.
"And dad can get better." Seth said quietly.
Alex looked at him.
"We all know you are going backwards dad." Seth said.
"I'm not going back wards." Alex said seriously and got up and went upstairs.
I watched him.
"We all have to look after each other." Aidan said.
"We kinda do that already." Riley said.
"I'll leave you guys be." I said and went upstairs.

Alex was asleep on the bed.
I went over and quietly sat on the bed.
Alex sighed and opened an eye and looked at me.
"Go back to sleep." I whispered.
"Only if you join." Alex mumbled.
I lead down on the bed and Alex cuddled into my side.
"You have to get better now." I said quietly and messed with his hair.
"I will. Nothing is going to happen to this baby." I said and kissed my chest.
I smiled and got comfy and fell asleep.
