Alex's POV I was sat at the kitchen table nursing a cupa lost inside my head like I have been the last couple of days. I heard someone walk into the kitchen and I sniffed and quickly wiped away any tears which had fallen. I felt a pair of arms drap over my shoulders and a chin resting on top of my head. "Don't cry dad." Riley said quietly. "I wasn't crying." I said quietly and looked down. I felt Riley rest his forehead on the top of my head. I put my hand on top of his and Riley moved his head and rested it on my shoulder. "Why aren't you at school?" I asked and rested the side of my head against his. "My anxiety is bad today so I thought I'd stay home and spend some time with you." He said and moved and sat on the table. "Where's Seth and Rowan?" I asked and looked towards the sitting room. "Seth has taken him to the stake park since Rowan now loves that place." Riley said. "Christ." I chuckled. "Get dressed, your taking me shopping." He smiled. "Isn't it meant to be you taking me shopping?" I chuckled. "I don't have the money, whereas you do so I was thinking just chilling and have me and you time since its been ages." Riley said. I smiled and got up. "Give me half an hour and I'm all yours." I said and went upstairs.
"Ah come on dad lighten up!" Riley said as he handed me a skateboard. "I haven't been on one of these since I got married." I said. "Well now's the time give it another go then." Riley chuckled. "If I break my neck I'm blaming you!" I said. "Just fucking do it!" Riley laughed. Half an hour later Riley had given up and I dragged him to a coffee shop. "Can't wait to tell pa what happened to you." Riley chuckled. "My ass still hurts!" I muttered. "Land on your feet next time." He said. I just kicked him. Riley just glared at me. When we got back Seth still wasn't back with Rowan so I texted him. Jack was home and was making the most of the peace by sitting on the sofa with the radio on looking like he was doing some work. I walked over and sat next to him and cuddled into his side. "Well that was strange walking in on a silent house." He said and kissed the top of my head. "Im upstairs." Riley said. Jack put the laptop on the floor and pushed me onto my back and sat on me and kissed me hard. "Riley is upstairs and anyone can walk in at any moment." I said quietly. Jack pouted and got the laptop and put it on my chest. "Do I look like a fucking table to you?" I asked and pulled the screen back so I could look at Jack. "Yes you do now put the screen back up while I finish of this." He said. I glared at him and pushed the screen back up. I was just nodding off to Jack tracing circles on my hip when peace was ruined. "Daddy!" Rowan shouted. I had no idea who he was shouting to as me and Jack was both dad at this moment of time. "Hey buddy. Where have you been?" Jack said and looked at Rowan. "Skating with Seth, then had ice cream with Seth and Tyler." Rowan said. "Why you sat on daddy?" Rowan asked sounding confused. "Because he's a good table." Jack said. "He's not a table silly!" Rowan laughed. "Yeah he is." Jack chuxkled. I went to bed early since I wasn't hungry and I was really tired for some reason. Jack came up after he put Rowan to be. "I've brought you some food up." Jack said and sat on the bed. "I'm not hungry." I said quietly. "You just having a bad day?" He asked quietly. I nodded. "Want me to run a bath for you?" He asked and I nodded. "Okay then I'll be back in a second." He said and kissed my forehead and went to our bathroom and ran the bath. An hour later I had my bath with Jack a d was cuddled into his side slowly falling asleep. "You will eat tommorow as you have a check up with the hospital tomorrow." Jack said. "Only if you come with me." I said and looked at him. "Course I will. Anything to get you better." He said. I sighed. "I cut myself a little the other day." I whispered. "I know you did. But I was waiting for you to tell me." He said. "How did you know?" I yawned. "I have my ways. Now why don't you go to sleep and I'll be here when you wake up." He said. I nodded and moved and reached up and kissed him and rested my head on his chest and slowly fell asleep.
