Jet Pack Blues

Alex's POV

Me and Jack was sat outside in the garden watching Rowan who had a bucket on his head and wellies on his hands spinning around in circles making as much nosie as he possible could.
"I worry about you child." I chuckled and Jack chuckled as well.
"Definitely tell he's from this family." Jack said.
"Reminds me of Riley since he always did that when he was little." I said quiwtky and rested my head on his shoulder.
Jack looked at me.
"You okay? You seem really off the last few days." He said.
I sat up and looked at him.
"Im fine, just the doctors messing with my meds, sort of making me feel like shit." I said quietly.
"What they doing with your meds then?" He asked.
"They keep on taking me off some replacing them with less harmful ones for bab, then saying that wont do and then change them again. Its enough to fuck anyone up." I said and looked at Rowan who had hold of the hoze pipe and messing around with it.
"Why don't you say anything about it?" He asked.
"I do but they don't listen, guess bab is more important than me." I said and looked down.
I felt Jack turn my head towards him.
"Your more important than bab. We can't have you loosing your mind every 5 seconds because it isn't fair on you, bab, me or the kids. And I can't lose you either." He said quietly and kissed me.
I rested my head against his.
"I'm not going anywhere." I whispered and kissed the end of his nose.
He smiled and Rowan came running over.
"Play?" He asked.
"Me and da are talking at the moment later okay." I said.
He pouted and looked down and slowly walked off.
"Damn that child has a pout on him." Jack chuckled.
"Hasn't he just. Learnt that from Aidan I reckon." I smiled.
"Better go and keep him happy otherwise he'll be a bastard for the rest of the day." He said and got up.
"Bring him in its not that warm out here anymore and I don't want to be dealing with a snot bag for a child." I said and got up as well.
"Well your gonna have to bribe him." He said.
"Rowan, do you want a gingerbread man?" I asked.
"Yeah!" He shouted and jumped up and down.
"Get you bum indoors and upstairs and da will sort you out and I'll have them ready for you when you come downstairs." I said.
He rushed past us and ran indoors.
"He'll do anything for a gingerbread man." I said and we walked indoors.

Half an hour later Jack came back down with Rowan.
"Gingerbread?" He asked and came over to me and hugged my leg.
"There's a word missing somewhere." I said and looked at him.
"Please." He smiled and looked at me.
"There you go then." I said and handed him the plate of 3 gingerbread men.
"If you go in the sitting room sit on the floor." I said and he went walking off towards the sitting room munching on a gingerbread man.
Jack came over and hugged me from behind as I made myself and him a drink.
"You made me jump." I said.
"I'm sorry." He said quietly and kissed my neck.
"It's okay." I said quietly.
Jack put his hand on my stomach.
I smiled and put my hand on top of his.
When I was preggers with everyone I was starting to show round this time but this one there was no small bump at all just filled out a little bit much, but it was enough for Jack and Seth to notice.
"You sure your pregnant as you was showing round this time with the others." He chuckled.
"I did like 6 test and they all came back with a little plus. Maybe this one is just a little smaller than everyone else." I said quietly.
"6? And you still managed to hid it from me." He said.
"Well you was just blind as it took you nearly 4 months to realise I was expecting Rowan." I chuckled.
"I was away for the first 2 months so you can't blame me." He said.
"Get me pregnant and then fuck off what a great husband you are." I smiled.
"Yeah but I made up for it though." He said quietly in my ear.
"Definitely did." I said and turned to face him.
"Tomorrow let me take you out or something." He said.
"What about the kids, I know their old enough to left alone but I don't like leaving Seth especially with what's wrong with him." I said and looked down.
"You can't always be here Lex, they have to learn they can be trusted on their own." He said.
"I know, I know, but in my mind their still Rowans age and need me." I said quietly.
"They'll come to you when they need you. I know how you feel, I still think that Seth is still toddling round the place." He said.
I smiled.
Rowan came out.
"All gone and you didn't save any for me and dada?" Jack asked shocked.
He shook his head and smiled.
"All gone." He said.
"Can see that." I chuxkled.

Everyone was in bed or in the sitting room or whatever so me and Jack went up to our room for an early night.
"What do you make about that Kit boy?" Jack asked.
"Don't trust him." I answered quickly.
"Why's that?" He asked and climbed into bed and i cuddled into his side.
"He's a fuck boy, and we both know not to trust a fuck boy." I said and stole the control of Jack and looked for something decent to watch on TV.
"He seems different round Ri though, like he actually cares about him. And Riley must trust and like him otherwise he would of fucked him like he did." He said.
"The poor bugger hasn't gotten laid for nearly 5 months, he was being you topical horny teenage boy." I said.
"How do you know that?" He asked.
"It was when I walked in on him." I said.
"Oh yeah, I remember now." He chuckled.
"Didn't fucking stop him though. Don't blame him." I chuckled and found something I liked on TV.
"Get in there my boy." Jack said.
I couldn't help but laugh at that.
"He definitely is." I said and rested my head on Jacks chest.
"I love you Jacky." I said quietly.
"I love you too Lex." He said.
I smiled and watched the TV and slowly fell asleep watching TV.

I'm tired and the residents at work are having some sort of coughing party or whatever downstairs as they won't shut the hell up..
