Riley's POV

When I got home I had Kit with me, which was a first as hardly any of my friends came round mine as I felt like this was my home and no one was allowed in it.
Kit was basically someone who needs to get their grades up and since my grades was good he had to be with me so I can tutor him.
It didn't help matters because I was sort of crushing on him and he was basically the schools bad boy and he made it clear he didn't like gays muxch so this was going to gio down really well.

We went to the kitchen where dad and pa was.
"Hey Ri, who's this handsome man then?" Pa said.
I groaned quickly to myself
"Pa this is Kit." I said.
"Nice too meet you Kit." Pa said but dad just glared at him like he always does to anyone new coming into the house.
"Wait your Jack Barakat? The boss at that really famous clothing store aren't you?" Kit asked.
"Yeah, that's me." He said unsure where this was going.
"Why didn't you tell me that one of your dad's was Jack Barakat!" Kit said.
"Would of thought you would of guessed, you know my surname is Barakat, would of thought you put the dots together. Maybe your just stupid after all." I said and looked at him.
He looked at me with a hurt expression on his face.
"Maybe that's why I have to spend my delightful evening here with you so you can tell me what to do." He said.

I looked at dad and studied him a little.
He didn't looked very happy today, not like normal when someone comes round.
He's normally smiling happy and making jokes but something wasn't right Today.
Pa was normal pa makes a conversation but then completely ignores the whole thing and just studies dad.
"Kit, go to my room its the door with the giant twenty one pilots poster on and I'll be up in a second." I said.
"Okay, it as nice meeting you Jack and.. " He stopped when he got to dad's name.
"Alex." He said and looked at Kit from what he was doing.
"Alex. it was nice meeting you both." He said and went upstairs.

"You okay dad?" I asked as soon as Kit was out the room.
"I'm fine." He said and looked at me.
He was wearing a hoodie which he never wears.
"Your not though, your wearing a hoodie which means you have done something to yourself!" I said.
"So what if I have, it has nothing to fucking do with you." He growled.
"Alex, don't be like that, take it out on me but not on the kids." Pa said.
Dad took a deep breath and pulled himself together a little.
"I'm sorry I said that Ri, I know you care but right now you don't have to worry." He said but something was different in his eye but I didn't know what.
"But I do worry dad." I said.
"Riley, I think it's best if you just go upstairs and let me deal with dad." Pa said.
"I'm right fucking here you know, don't have to talk like I'm not here." Dad said sarcastically.
Pa glared at him.
"Just what is the problem Alex." Pa sighed.
"Nothing, nothing is wrong it's all perfectly fine." He said quickly.
Pa looked at me and I smiled and went upstairs to Kit.
When dad has his crazy moments, as we call them, he does scare me a little as he's a completely different person. Like normally he's really calm and everything but when he's like this he picks fights and he not the nicest of people to be around.
But either way we all loved him and he knows that.

I walked by Seth's room and I heard giggling.
"I'm not even gonna ask." I muttered and walked by Aidan's room and she had Rowan and Oli with her.
Then I got to my room and walked in and Kit had made himself at home on my bed.
"Glad to see you've made yourself at home." I said and sat on the bed with him.
"Have to if I have to spend pretty much most of my time in the fag house." He spat.
"Well if you actually did the work you was meant to do and actually pay attention in class then maybe you won't be in the 'fag house'" I spat at him.
"You'll all burn in hell along with all the other arse bashers." He said.
"Oh for fuck sake just grow the fuck up. Yes my parents are gay, my brother is gay and my sister is bisexual. Just fucking man up and accept it will you because we're not as bad as we sound." I said.
"You never said what you was." He said which threw my completly.
"Pansexual." I said and looked at him.
"See here's the thing, I think I might be bi or something." He said.
I looked at him.
"You can't tell no one Riley!" He said.
"Who the fuck can I tell? In case you haven't noticed I have no friends." I said.
"You don't." he said.
"No I dont so can we just drop the fucking subject and do this." I said quietly.
"But I need your help." He said.
"The only help I'm giving is for your work." I said and looked at him.
Kit looked down and nodded.
I sighed.
"If you needs to talk to someone then you can talk to me I guess." I said.
He looked at me and smiled.
"Thanks Riley." He said quietly and looked at his work.
I chuxkled and explained to him what he had to do and he did it.

Notes

Suppose I should get out of bed and go and do this shopping I was went to do ages ago...
Probably not gonna happen and I'm just gonna spend my money in merch like I always do...

Do you think Kit likes Riley or is he gonna play him or don't know yet...

Felt like it was all about Seth and Tyler so I thought about bring Riley into it more...
