Perfect Boyfriend

Nyssa's POV:
I stare at Jack in shock, "JACK!" "Nyssa! What the fuck is all of this! And what do you mean Alex is a robot!?" I can't move, am I even breathing!? "Nyssa," I hear Alex say and he snaps his fingers in front of my eyes and I blink a few times and shake my head. "Who is this guy?," the woman says. "He's my best-" "I'm her best friend, and I demand to know what the fuck is going on!," Jack snaps. Shit, Jack is really pissed.... "Guards," the woman says and they start walking towards Jack. "Wait! Stop!" "I'm sorry Nyssa." "No! Jack deserves to know the truth. Out of everyone I know, he's the one who should know." "Wait, what's going on!?" The guards grab him and force him down on his knees. "Please don't!" "He has to forget Nyssa. Only our customers are allowed to know the truth." I get Alex to let go of me and run over to Jack, I kneel in front of him and look up at the woman who's holding some weird looking machine. "If you make Jack forget, you have to make me forget as well." "Then that means-" "That means you can't get your precious data that you need to complete your research." I clench my jaw and glare at her. If Jack has to forget, so do I. "Nyssa, why are you doing this?," Alex asks. "Because after everything that has happened, he deserves to know the truth. And not forget anything."

The woman sighs and holds her head. "Such a pain." I stick my tongue out at her and I hear Alex chuckle a bit. "Fine, but we'll leave the explaining to you. The consequences will fall on you for letting someone who isn't a customer know the truth." "I'm okay with that." "Um, can someone answer a question real quick," Jack speaks up. "What's that?" "Why is there someone who looks like Jungkook laying on the floor." "And the explanations begin.." "You fucking explain it, not me," I snap. "Fine." She rolls her eyes and lets out a sigh of annoyance. "That Jungkook you see is a robot, also known as a Perfect Boyfriend. But from the settings we had him on, he was not as perfect we were hoping for." "No fucking shit." "Nyssa," Alex says with a warning voice. "Fine Alex, I'll shut up." "Anyways, he was supposed to help us get more data on Nyssa so we can complete our research on how women work." "Wait, but you're a woman!?" "Yes, but the creator of the company did not want to run the tests on me." "Why is that?" "That's what he wanted, and I have to follow his orders." Seriously?! Why do I have to be the guinea pig... "Data? On women? And you're using Nyssa for that!?" "Now it's your turn Nyssa to explain." "Fine."

"Well? Nyssa?" "You'll want to sit down for this." Jack takes a seat and I sit across from him. "Alex is...a robot." "A robot!?" "Yes. One night when we were working, I had to take the trash out and some guy was trying to do some shit. But then Rian came in and stopped him. He asked me what my one wish is and I jokingly said a boyfriend and that he would make it possible. He gave me a card to go to a website to create my perfect boyfriend. So I did, I thought it was a game, and the next day Alex arrived." "Nyssa that's crazy! If you were that desperate for a boyfriend, you should have came to me!" "Here's the thing Jack," Alex speaks up. "If you knew how bad Nyssa wanted a boyfriend all these years, and how bad guys were treating her, how come you never stood up and asked her out?" "Well I'm sorry that my feelings took longer to kick in. I always thought that I would be the only guy in your life Nyssa.... And then he comes in and everything changed." "Jack... Were you... Jealous?" He bites his lower lip and looks down.

"I can't believe that I'm jealous of a robot," he mumbles and this causes Alex to quickly stand up with a fist formed. "Just because I'm a robot, doesn't mean I don't know how to be human. And because of Nyssa, I've been learning more how to act and feel like one." "Robots aren't supposed to have feelings." "Here's the thing Jack, I do have feelings. When Nyssa is in danger, I'm scared and worried. When she's laughing and acting cute, I'm happy. And whenever you're too close to her for my liking, I'm pissed." Jack laughs a bit and glares up at him. "I'm not scared of you Alex." "You should be." "Well I'm not." I get between them, "okay guys. That's enough." "Nyssa, why have you kept him for so long?" "Because I made a deal with the company. If I help them collect data, then I don't have to pay anything." "Collect data as in..." "You remember the trip to the island where we were supposed to... You know.." "Oh you gotta be fucking with me." Jack quickly stands up and walks towards us but I put my hands on his chest. "I swear, if you try to play Nyssa just to have sex with you for data, you're dead. And even if you two do have sex, and then you leave her, I'll really make sure you're dead."

"You don't have to worry about that, because I won't ever leave her." Jack shakes his head and steps back, "I have to get going. I think Jungkook is still passed out in my living room." He runs out and slams the door closed. I let out a deep sigh and Alex pulls me close to him. "It'll be okay Nyssa, Jack just needs some time to understand." He kisses my cheek and I look up at him, "you promise to not leave me if we do it?" He smiles, "of course. I don't want to be with anyone else."

Jack's POV:
I slowly move Jungkook onto the couch, "sorry about not moving you earlier man. I had to get up and go." Good thing he's still knocked out, I'm taking a guess that Alex did this. But since I've been knocked out so many times, I'm just used to it by now. I can't fucking believe that Nyssa ordered a robot boyfriend... Is she crazy!? And how I can fully trust Alex!? He's a robot! How do I know he's not lying!? He could finish collecting data and then just leave her right after. As if I didn't trust him enough... It looks like Alex isn't leaving any time soon, I guess I just have to stick around and keep an eye on him to make sure that he never hurts her.
