Both Sides Of The Story

I continued showing Gabi around the rest of the day. She’s really cool. She also likes the same music so that’s definitely a plus. Maybe I can convince the guys to play Adam’s Song. It’s her favourite song, as she said.

Really I just want to make her happy. She’s gone through a lot of shit, I can see it in her eyes.

“Bye Lex. I’ll see you later” Gabi said breaking me out of my thoughts.

“Bye Gabi. I’ll pick you up about 4, if that’s okay”

“Yeah that’s cool, see you then”

“See you then”

I’m so excited. I can’t wait for her to hear the guys and I. I mean we haven’t been a band for long but still. I’m always happy when new people listen to us.

Homework’s all done, thank god. And it’s 3:30. I should probably pick Gabi up soon. Or now, so we could hang out a bit before I take her to Jack’s for practice. Yeah, I’ll do that.

I grab my guitar, as it’s still in it’s case and rush downstairs. I lean it against the wall as I quickly pull on my high top converse. I grab my guitar and rush out to my car.

Okay, I need to chill. I just met the girl today. I wonder what city she’s from. I know she’s from Britain, I can just tell by her accent, I just wonder if she’s from Essex like I am or if she’s from somewhere else. I’ll have to ask her.
