Samantha and Jack have been friends for three years. Jack had met her when she joined the music class and she had only really taken notice of him when he came to her aid in a small emergency she found herself having.
Jack had remained loyal to Sam, even though they were never together. Sam was always loyal to him, like any good friend would be.

But feelings begin to take over and its true what they say: Love really blinds a man.
