Alex's POV

I have been in this stupid inpatients for nearly a week and I already want to shoot myself.
I had a room mate but he doesn't really talk or I don't actually know how to start a decent conversation because I'm awkward as anything in this place.
Jack came everyday to see me and give me any gossip which has been happening or I'll tell him what's been happening.

I managed to steal a spinny chair so i was messing around on that until one of the nurses told me to put ot back which i did and then i stole someone wheelchair because im a bastard like that.
"Alex give Matt his wheelchair back." A nurse sighed.
"Ugh, its so fucking boring here." I groaned and got out the wheelchair and pushed it towards the nurse.
"Why don't you go and do some drawing?" He said.
"Naaa." I said and lead on the floor.
"Someone is going to fall over you." The nurse said.
"I care because? People need to open their fucking eyes." I said sarcastically.
"Gaskarth you have to go and see the therapist." Another nurse said and looked at me.
"Naaa, I'm good thanks." I said.
"You missed your appointment with him on Monday." They said.
"Seriously don't give a shit." I said.
"Look, the sooner you go and see him the sooner you'll be able to find if your stable enough to have passes and go home and see your family." They said.
"I'm not fucking crazy." I said.
"We never said you was. We just want you to see the therapist." Someone said.
"Will it get you off my back?" I asked.
"Yes." The two nurses said together.
I groaned and got up of the floor.
"Fine, I'll go but Jack gets to stay longer today." I said.
The nurses looked at each other.
"Pleeeease. I won't even steal Matt's wheelchair ornthe spinny chair." I begged.
"We'll speak to big man but we can't see why not." One said.
I smiled.
"Now go before we change our minds." They said and I walked off.

"So Alex how are you feeling today?" My therapist asked.
"I'm good." I said and spun around in the chair.
"That's good. How you finding it here? Do you like it?" He asked.
"I want to go home if that's what your asking? Honestly I'm fine there's nothing wrong with me. I'm not meant to be here I'm happy as anything and I'm sure there's someone who actually needs to be in this place more than me." I said and stopped spinning round in the chair and looked at the therapist.
"There's a reason why you're here like with everyone else here. I'm here to find out why you tried to kill yourself and hopefully get you out of here." He said.
"Welp, good luck on that Chuck because I'm not saying nothing." I said and reached forward and picked up this ball he had on his desk and started to mess with it.
"Well I hope you enjoy your long stay here." He said.
I looked at him.

"So what made you want to help mentally fucked up kids?" I asked and carried on messing with the ball and put my feet up on his desk.
"I enjoy the rewards at the end when a patient gets to go home. It's nice that you actually helped someone." He said.
"Good point." I said.
"Then there's the challenging ones like you." He said.
"Please, I'm not that hard. I'm a fucking opened book." I scoffed.
"Your actually not. You're going to be a instesting person once you get comfortable about sharing your thoughts and feelings." He said.
"That is going to take a long time. So I'm off for a cigarette." I said and got up and took the ball with me.
"How old are you?" He asked.
"15 next month why?" I said and turned round and looked at him.
"Just wondering. But young to be smoking?" He asked.
I shrugged my shoulders.
"Anything to numb the pain really." I said and threw the ball back at him which he caught.
"Laters Chuck." I said and walked out the room.

I was sat on my bed playing my guitar which Jack managed to get in for me.
My room mate was sat on his bed on his phone.
He looked at me.
"Hey you." He said.
"2 seconds." I said and finished what I was playing and looked at him.
"Yes?" I asked.
"You by any chance have anything?" He asked.
"Explain by anything? For all I know you could be talking about my dick." I said.
"Pills, blades? Anything like that?" He asked.
I knew for a fact I had a blade stuck on the inside of my guitar which no one knew about but I wasn't going to give it to him.
"Nope. Sorry the only pills I have are at the meds place." I said.
"Uggh." He groaned and flopped onto his back.
"Always find having a good wank normally helps." I said.
He looked at me.
"Take it it's your first time in one of these places?" I asked.
He nodded.
"Trust me. I would also say ways to hurt yourself but that's my serect." I said.
"Tell me please." He begged.
"I've already said have a good wank, what more do you need?" I said.
"I need more than that." He said.
"Find someone to fuck. But not me. I'm happily taken." I said.
"Some fucking help you are." He groaned.
"Whatever." I said and went back to playing my guitar.

"Alex you have a visitor." A nurse said and poked round the door.
"Send them in then." I said.
I felt someone sit in my bed and kissed my cheek.
"Heya." Jack said quietly.
I smiled and looked at him and kissed him hard.
"So what's been happening in the world of Alex then?" He asked and made himself at home on my bed.
I cuddled into his side.
"I was made to go to therapy but that was only so you can stay longer today. My roommate actually spoke to me." I said.
"That's good then." He said.
"He wanted pills or blades but I have none of that so I told him to have a good wank." I said.
Jack chuckled.
"Did you actually say that?" He asked and looked at me.
"This is me we're talking about." I said.
"So the answer is yes, can't fucking believe you." He chuckled.
"How's Eric and Fred?" I asked.
"They was going to come with me but I came here straight after school and they was doing something so they couldn't come. But they said they'll come tomorrow and see you." He said.
I moved and sat on Jack and kissed him hard.
"My room mate has therapy for an hour and then his folks visit for an hour and take him out so that means we have two hours of this room to ourselves." I said and ran my finger down Jacks chest.
"Hmm, where is this heading to?" He asked.
I got off him and got hold of his hand and dragged him to the bathroom we had in this room.

I shut the door behind us and pushed Jack hard against it while locking the door.
"Won't they wonder where you are?" He asked as he pulled my top off.
"I spend most of my time in my room." I said and pulled his top off.
"Good." Jack muttered and kissed me hard.

I was cuddled into Jacks side tracing patterns on Jacks chest.
My room mate walked in and looked at us since we only had our jeans on.
Jack was also covered in hickies.
He just looked at us and walked back out again.
Jack chuckled.
"He's strange." Jack said.
"Isn't he just." I chuckled.
A nurse came in.
"You havbe to leave I'm afraid Jack." They said.
"But I don't want to." Jack pouted.
"I'm afraid you have too as Alex needs to have his meds and have something to eat since he didn't have anything since this morning." The nurse said.
Jack moved and went to pull his top on.
"Have mine. I want yours." I said and snatched it out his hands.
Jack chuckled and pulled my too on and got off the bed.
"See you later." He said and kissed me.
"See you." I said.
Jack smiled and walked out.
A few seconds later my phone went off.
'I love you.' Jack sent.
I smiled and replied to his message and sniffed his top and fell asleep.
