Alex's POV

Me and Jack didn't even make it to school before we both turned round and went back home.
We was making out heatedly when the phone went off.
"Ignore it." Jack said against my lips.
"It could be mum." I said and pulled away and answered the phone.

"Hello?" I asked as the person didn't speak straight away.
Jack was hugging my from behind nipping my ear.
"Hello is that Mrs Gaskarth?" The voice asked.
"No its not can I help you?" I said.
"Is she in?" They asked.
"No, haven't seen her for a while. Who is this?" I asked and Jack stopped.
"I'm Nurse Bailey from the hospital. What relation are you too Mrs Gaskarth?" She asked.
"I'm one of her sons." I said and moved away from Jack.
"Do you know when your mother will be back?" She asked.
"I don't have a clue. I haven't seen her for a while." I said.
"Okay when she shows can you tell her the results are here." She said.
"What results? Is it for my older brother Eric Gaskarth?" I asked.
"I'm sorry sir but that is confidential and you'll have to speak to your mother about it." She said.
"Okay, I'll let her know you have called when I see her." I said.
"Okay, have a nice day." She said and hung up.

I looked at Jack.
"Take it your no longer in the mood." He said.
"Something is wrong with mum." I said quietly.
"So that's a no then." He said quietly.
"Can you stop thinking about your dick for 1 minute!" I snapped.
"This is fucking serious Jack!" I said.
"I'm sorry." he said quietly.
"Its fine but we need to go fishing around too see what mum is hiding. Then maybe we can do something." I said and kissed him.
"I like that idea." He smirked.
"So where do we start?" He asked.
"The post see if there's anything there which might give us some answers." I said.
"Okay." Jack said and we went looking through the post.

"I have nothing" Jack said as he finished looking through his pile of post.
"Neither do I." I said and looked round the room.
"Something is wrong Jack. I dunno what, but I don't like it." I said and looked at him.
"It might be nothing." He said quietly.
"But it might be something. Shes keeping it from us which isn't like her." I said.
Jack looked at me.
"ugh this hurts my head." I groaned and put my head in my hands.
"She'll tell you when she's ready." He said quietly and kissed the side of my head.
"I hope so." I said quietly.

We brought Eric home from the hospital and he was on bed rest for a week and then he could back to school. But since it was nearly the holidays he would probably start after them.
"Feels nice to be home." Eric said as he sat on the sofa.
"Its nice to have you home." I said quietly.
"Does this mean your my house bitch for the next few weeks?" He asked.
"Pretty much." I said and Eric chuckled.
"Do you know whats wrong with mum?" I asked and looked at him.
"Lets just say we're not on speaking terms right now." He said.
Why?" I asked.
"Cause she mad at me for doing what I did." He said.
"I understand that but she wasn't like that too me after dancing on the tracks for the 6th time when in England." I said.
"That's because you have serious problems compared to me. I'm meant to be setting an example to you and Fred and so far I've a fucking shit job of it." He said and looked away from me.
"I don't think you doing a shit job and neither does Fred, we still look up to you but we just take the drugs and alcohol out of it." I said.
He smiled.
"I've missed you." He said quietly.
"So have I." I said and sat next to him and cuddled into his side.
"You did go back on your deal though." I said.
"I know I did, please don't do anything Alex, you have Jack just think about how heartbroken he would be." He said and looked at me.
"Funny thing is, I don't want to do my side of the deal. Jack is literally the only person who is stopping me." I said quietly and looked down.
"I'm glad someone makes you stop yourself." He said quiwtly and kissed the side on my head.

its shit because I am tired after pulling a 14 hour shift at work and now pulling of a all nighter and then another 6 hours of work.... basically 30 hours of work with not a lot of sleep, so I am dying right now and the fact paranoia s through the roof so sleep might not even come to me which sucks as I really want to sleep...
