Alex's POV

I woke up and my legs and arm really hurt.
Jack was juat waking up beside me.
"You okay?" He asked and wrapped his arm and leg round me.
I shook my head.
He held me close to him and kissed the top of my head.
"My arms and leg hurts." I said quietly and picked at the bandage on my arm.
Jack put his hand on top of mine.
"Don't pick at it." He said quietly.
"It hurts." I pouted.

Jack sat up and pulled me up with him.
He wrapped his legs round me the best he could.
He picked my arm up and kissed down the bandage.
He did it to both my arms and on my leg then he looked at me and kissed me.
"I don't remember doing this." I said quietly.
"You don't have to remember okay." He said.
"I'm a let down aren't I?" I asked quietly and looked down.
"No your not. Don't say that again." He said and made me look at him and kissed me again.
"I feel like one." I whispered.
"Well your not, so up we're going downstairs and I'm going to make us something to eat." He said and kissed the side of my mouth.

Jack dragged me downstairs and I sat in the sitting room with Fred while Jack made us something to eat.
"Come here Lex." He said quietly.
I went over and cuddled into his side.
"What happened?" He asked quietly.
"I dunno. We got drunk, we passed out, I woke up and wanted to go for a walk so I did and then this happened." I said.
"Why didn't you wake Jack up?" He asked.
"Because I feel like all i do is annoy him. Like i keep him up at night, i annoy him with my problems, i annoy him at school. I do nothing but annoy him." I said and looked down.
"If you annoy him that much then he would be gone Lex, you of all people should know this. But he hasnt, he has stuck by you through everything you have done to yourself and what this family has been through. He's a keeper you just dont push him away." He said quietly and kissed the top of my head.
"Im trying." I said quietly.
"So far you doing really well. Jack will keep coming back. He needs you just as much as you need him." He said.
Jack came back in the room and sat on the sofa with me and Fred.
I moved over to Jack i cuddled up to him.
"There goes my hot water bottle." Fred said.
"You need a woman then you dont have to use me as a heater." I said.
Jack chuckled.
"Na, I'll just climb into your bed and get the whole Jack experience." He smiled.
"Well considering he hoggs the bed I wish you luck trying to get into the bed." Jack said.
"I know that, I used to share a bed with him and Eric and them two are really bad bed hoggers." He said.

"Have you seen Eric today?" I asked.
"Yeah but he was asleep." He said.
"Where's mum then? I haven't seen her since Eric woke up." I said.
"Finding work since Peter has fucked off leaving no money what so ever." He said.
"Bastard." Jack muttered and shoved a sandwich in his mouth.
I wasn't gonna speak since I wasn't going to waste another breath on him.

Freddie went off somewhere and it left me and Jack alone like normal.
We was in my room playing a game.
I was sat between Jacks legs where he had his arms over my shoulders.
"If you need help for money you just have to say." He said quietly.
"We can't take you money Jack." I said.
"You sure?" He asked.
I didn't reply as I was too focus on the game.
