What Can I Say

I was sitting next to Alex at the game, somehow he had managed to get decent seats last minute, he has to know someone who works here. The game was an interesting one to watch, the defense was the only good thing about either team. The Ravens had just made the first touchdown of the game and it was a defensive touchdown. It wasn't the most interesting game to watch but I was having fun with my best friend at my side.

"Hey Lex, can I borrow a few bucks for food," I asked.

"Do you want my soul too," he joked, pulling out a few dollars.

"I don't think I can buy food with a soul."

"Get me some cotton candy?"

"Whatever dweeb."

I stood up and began to climb the stairs towards the concession stand. I couldn't help but shake subconsciously as I was standing in line. I tabbed my fingers subconsciously against my arm, waiting for the line to die down. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I couldn't help but stiffen at the touch. I hated physical contact, I enjoyed being left alone.

"Excuse me, ma'am," she asked.

"Yes, how can I help you," I muttered.

"I just want to let you know. I'm sitting behind your boyfriend and you. You two are the cutest couple I've ever seen."

"Oh, uh, we're not together. He's just a friend, that's it."

"Oh, that's a shame, you two are really cute."

I turned my attention back to the line and continued to stand as awkward as possible. I just wanted to be sitting next to Alex again. I just liked his company, I just liked him being there. He was all I wanted, all I needed. However, I didn't want him and I didn't need him.

Notes

It took me way too long to write this shitty chapter, I'm sorry. So, I might get my lip pierced soon because I really want it done so I might do it tomorrow. I'm just worried that I might pass out again and that wouldn't end well at all. Also, if you are going to the Charlotte date for the Back To The Future Hearts Tour let me know.
