What Can I Say

Nothing was out of the ordinary about us walking into school. No one could see my hand in his, no one could see his fingers softly caressing my knuckles. No one could see the sparkle in my eyes when I'd occasionally steal a glance at thr boy next to me. No one saw anything out of the ordinary.

"There they are," Jack yelled.

"Quiet yourself," Rian laughed.

I saw Jack hit Rian and point to us. Of course he would be the one to notice. The one to sell us, the one to destroy our secret. Was he still on of my friends? Absolutely. Did he drive me up a wall? Absolutely.

"When did this thing happen," Rian asked.

"What thing, do you see a thing," I asked Alex.

"No, I don't see a thing at all. Riri's just going crazy," Alex stated.

"Are you two finally a thing," Rian questioned, getting agitated.

"Yeah, we are," Alex said, smiling down at me.

"Fucking finally," Jack yelled.

I rolled my eyes and hid my blushing face in Alex's side. He wrapped his arms around my shoulder and kissed the top of my head softly. Both the guys awed at us.

I leaned my head up and Alex quickly pecked my lips. Did he realize yet how bad he was going to get hurt? Did he realize that he just kissed his ultimate destroyer? How can something so beautiful be so dangerous?
