Summary
she gave her everything, put so much effort into making things for them work. she put her career on hold and did all she could to fix what was broken, he was hitting up the bars all around the country while she struggled to even book a gig somewhere. when he cheated, she packed up and left regardless of how much he begged her to stay, that they would work things out but she was sick of the empty promises and the lack of loyalty. moving to California she was picked up by an agency and began to work her up the ladder of success; she'd hear about him through the grapevine but hadn't bothered to call. thought no matter how much she'd deny it, you can't just toss ten years out the window as much as she hated to admit, he was the only one for her.
