Toxic valentine

Jacks POV

I woke up and I was alone in bed.
I sat up and looked around.
It was still dark outside and Alex's desk lamp was turned on.
I heard loads of muttering going on but it didn't make any sense.
I moved to the foot of the bed and watched Alex.
There was loads of rough steachs all over the floor.
He stopped and looked at me.
I've been ratted.
"What you doing up?" He yawned.
"Could ask you the same." I said and moved and sat next to him and looked at the drawings.
"Can't sleep, keep on seeing these things." He said and waved his arms around the drawings.
I picked up one drawing and looked at this.

"It's where your parents are at isn't it?" He asked.
I nodded and looked at him.
"How do you know what it looks like?" I asked.
"Saw it. You need to phone your parents and tell them to come back Jack." He said and looked at me seriously.
"Why? They don't give a shit about me." I said.
"Because something bad is going to happen to them. It won't be just you who'll suffer from it but your brother and sister as well." He said quickly and looked through some papers.
"I never told you about them." I said.
"Jack, are you seriously forgetting the fact I can get inside your head and find information out. Now I saw something which involves your whole family and its not going to be good Jack." He said and pulled another picture up and put it in front of me.
I looked at it and it was in more detail compared to the others.
"Things can change if their minds aren't made up. I'm telling you Jack you have to phone them and try and get them back here.." He started but trailed off zoning out again.

I didn't know what to do so I went and got Vlad.
He said something in Russian and if didn't sound good whatever he said.
"Alex keeps on zoning out and I don't know what to do." I said quickly.
Vlad sat up and looked at me.
"Did he have drawings round him?" He asked.
"Yeah." I said.
"Fuck." Vlad muttered
He got out of bed and went to Alex's room.
"Alec." He said and sat in front of him.
He got no luck.
"Hey! Asshole get out of there." Vlad said and slapped him round the face.
Alex came back but Vlad was pinned to the floor and look very pissed off.
He said something in Russian.
"Jack go and hide." Vlad said.
I was frozen to the spot.
Alex looked at me and walked over too me.
He looked at me confused on who I was.
I offered him my hand.
He looked at it and took it.
He let go of my hand and smiled and walked back over to Vlad.
He said something in Russian and started to kick him hard.
I went over and place a hand on his shoulder.
"Don't." I said quietly.
He looked at me and his eyes softened.
"Go to bed and I'll be there in a bit." I said quietly and he nodded and walked over to the bed.
I went over and pulled the covers over him.
"I'll be back, I'll see you in the morning." I said quietly and kissed his forehead.
'I'm sorry.' Came to my head.
I looked at Alex.
"Too me you have nothing to be sorry for. In the morning you'll say sorry to Vlad. But right now you need sleep." I said and got up.

I went over to Vlad and helped him up.
"Let's get you cleaned up." I said quietly and looked over to Alex who was softly snoring.
We went downstairs to the kitchen where I looked at his injuries.
"I told you to hide." He said and looked at me.
"Not meaning this to horrible but we both know that I wouldn't of listened." I said quietly.
"Why? Because I'm human and your Fertie?" He said harshly.
"Exactly that. You know in my world your lower than whatever the lowest thing is. Which is why you get treated like shit all the time." I said.
"Fertie don't have it easy either." He said quietly.
"Maybe not, but we're stronger than you." I said and looked at him.
Vlad stayed quiet.
"So what happened with Alex anyway?" I asked.
"Some of his gifts are stronger than others. And sometimes one gift will overpower all the others which sends him a bit crazy and angry. He's dangerous when he's like that especially if it's the seeing to the future gift overpowering him." Vlad said as I made him a drink.
"But he was fine, he was rambling loads but nothing was different about him then he completely zoned out and then you slapped him round the face and he completely changed." I said.
"Leave him to explain that. Right now I'm taking my drink and going to bed. But I have one thing to say to you, don't be scared of him. He stopped when you touched him, he will listen to you Jack. Just don't be scared of him." He smiled and left the room.

I went upstairs and Alex was sat up in bed.
"What you doing up?" I asked and sat on the bed.
"Something woke me up." He said quietly.
"Something like a nightmare?" I asked.
He nodded but looked down.
"What's wrong with that?" I asked.
"Things like that aren't meant to happen. It shows weakness." He said quietly.
"Everyone has nightmares. I do, it doesn't show weakness because they aren't real." I said quietly.
Alex looked at me.
"Mine do sometimes." He said quietly.
"Even if they do. It don't make you weak but it just makes you normal." I said.
Alex looked up and smiled.
"I don't know about you but I'm tried." I yawned.
Alex moved and lied down.
I followed and cuddled into his chest.
I looked up at him and could see he wasn't really comfy.
I moved and Alex made the most of it and rolled onto his side.
I smiled and moved and got comfy again.
"You don't scare me Alex." I said quietly and traced patterns on his chest.
"You should be scared of me." He whispered.
"But I'm not. You could be at your worst and I wouldn't be scared." I said.
"You say that now, but you will be in time." He muttered as his breaths started to even out.
"No I won't." I said quietly and moved closer to him and slowly fell asleep.
