Jack

Did I hear what Alex just said? Was this real life? Did he really just ask me to marry him? I climbed off of him and looked at him with shock. Don’t get me wrong, I do want to marry him one day, but today is not that day. Besides, I wanted to be the one to ask him to marry me! I laid down on the bed and let out a huge groan, and kicked my feet, as I was throwing a little fit.

“Uh, Jack? I didn’t-” I cut him off.

“Look Alex. It’s not that I don’t want to marry you, I do, I really do. And one day we will get married.” I said as I looked over to him.

I understand. But, can you at least tell me why you are throwing a fit?”

“Because! I wanted to be the one to ask you to marry me! I had this whole thing planned out and set up on graduation day-” I covered my mouth as I just caught my words.

“Wait, you had a plan to ask me to marry you on graduation day?” He looked at me with shock.

“N-no.” I looked away from him, trying to keep us from having this conversation. I can’t believe I just said that. That was not in the plan for spilling anytime soon, fuck, that wasn’t in the plan to spill until the day was upon us!

“Jack, if you don’t want to talk about this, that’s fine. But, just promise me, that one day, we will get married? I want us to be a family.” He spoke softly.

“I promise. I don’t want to leave you and little Melody anytime soon, I don’t know what I would do without you two, well I do know. Just something I can’t handle.” I sat up and placed a hand on his stomach, and placed my lips onto his in a passionate kiss.

Sorry it's really short guys. I am in the process of a poetic project for my English class, and I will be working on it all weekend, as it is due on Sunday.
