Third Times A Charm

Alex and I were currently laying in bed, my arms around his waist as he was curled into my side. He was my fiancée, and it felt so good to finally be able to say that. I kissed the top of his head and he turned his head to look at me. His soft brown eyes seemed endless, almost as if you could swim in them.

"I love you Jack," he whispered.

"I love you more," I whispered back.

"I'm trying to be cute and you're doing this shit again."

"You love it."

"Yeah, I do."

I smiled and kissed him softly. There was a knock on our bedroom door and Alex sighed softly. He climbed out of bed to get the door. Becca was standing there looking almost afraid. Her hair was tied back and she was in a baggy shirt and sweat pants.

"There's a really muscular guy at the door asking for Jack and he won't give me a name because 'He'll know who I am,'" she said quietly.

"Are you fucking kidding me," I asked, climbing out of bed.

I walked towards the door and Zack was standing in the door frame, not stepping in, as if he were a vampire. His eyes lit up and a smile stretched across his face as he saw me. I couldn't help but roll my eyes as I noticed the suitcase at his feet.

"Jacky," he said happily.

"Zack, what are you doing here? Leave me and my family alone," I asked.

"Is that your girlfriend I saw? Did you turn to women?"

"No, that's my fiancée's sister. Alex's sister."

"You're gonna marry that douche?"

"Watch your fucking mouth when you talk about my fiancée. I fucking love him, he is my everything. I only see one douche here and it's you Zack. Get the fuck out of here and leave me and my family alone!"

"You mean you and Steph's family."

"Who fucking told you?"

He picked the bags off of the floor leaving Becca, Alex and I in shock. Becca had no idea that I was the biological father of our kids. She had no idea that they weren't necessarily adopted. I watched as Zack turned around, he looked as if he had more to say.

"You'll come back Jack, they always do," he said.

I slammed the door shut. I was ashamed, I was embarrassed, how could he come into my house and say that? I didn't even care that some of that was true, no one had given him the right to do that. I pulled Alex into my arms and kissed his head softly. He was mine and I was his. We were going to be together forever.

Zack came back into the picture but who told him about Jack and Steph? How is Becca going to react to this entire situation?

So, I apologize about not updating this for like a week, some stuff came up (also the college wifi is kinda sucky). So, I'm going to see a therapist when I get home for break because my anxiety is like way out of control and my mom is thinking I have depression as well which is tons of fun. I was also pretty sick yesterday so I almost updated but fell asleep after writing the first sentence. Sorry about that guys :(
