Undercover

"Wake up ya dweebs," Rian called as he walked down the with a tray of food.

The light came on and I groaned, rolling off of Jack's chest and looking up at the ceiling. I rolled and looked up at the still asleep boy. I managed to pull myself out of bed and smirked at the idea that I had. I stepped back some before running up and leaping onto the sleeping boy. He shot awake, a scream escaping his lips. I couldn't help but giggle as I rolled over onto the bed, laughing at his pain.

"Asshole," he muttered, climbing out of bed.

"Hey, it was the only chance I've ever had to do that. Rian brought us breakfast," I told him, climbing out of bed as well.

"Doesn't make you less of an asshole."

"I'm sorry Jack, I thought it would be funny. I didn't mean to scare you."

I watched as he grabbed a plate with a very traditional looking breakfast of eggs and bacon. He had two Monster cans on the tray as well. I grabbed one of those but let Jack take the other. I didn't reach for the plate with food on it because I just was never hungry in the morning. I watched as Jack ate the food on his plate.

"Alex, you need to eat," he told me.

"I'm not hungry. Like, really not hungry," I explained.

"You need energy."

"I've run off of less. I really don't want it, I'm going to feel sick for a bit."

"Whatever."

My method of waking Jack up couldn't be the only reason that he was so pissy. There had to be another reason, I just wanted to know who pissed in his cornflakes. Or was he just in another one of his moods where it was time for his pity party. There were sometimes that I did regret bringing him with me. Then again, him being here may be the only reason I'm alive.

"What the fuck is wrong with you," I said, harsher than intended.

"What the fuck are you getting at Gaskarth," he snapped.

"Why are you so pissy? None of this is new or different. Stop acting like it is, like you've never seen this before!"

"Maybe it's because I actually care about you. Maybe it's because I want to see you happier and healthier than you have been before but you don't give a shit about much of anything, including yourself. It just irritates me."

"Why do you care so much?"

"Can't you fucking see Alex? I'm in love with you!"

Not a ton but what did Jack say? Wha?!

So guys, for the first time in my life I may be able to go to Warped Tour in addition to Carolina Rebellion and I'm so excited considering it's also on my best friends birthday. On Tuesday I also start a class where you pretty much learn the basics on how to be a recording musician and it's really exciting!
