Your POV

“Thank you, and goodnight!” Alex called out into the sea of screaming fangirls. I was lucky to be backstage. Not only had I been able to be backstage, but he had invited me to go on tour with him. The rest of the band hadn’t objected to it. Alex brought Lisa, Rian brought Cassadee, and Zack was off doing Zack things. One never really knew with him. I sensed he had a girlfriend with the way he always smiling at his phone. I guessed she couldn’t come along.
The guys had always teased me and Jack about getting together. We were always hanging out, doing whatever. Each time one of us would look at the other and make some weird face along with a gagging noise.
I knew Jack didn’t have feelings for me. He couldn’t, he was physically incapable. We have been best friends since high school and each chick that he had hooked up with was more of a wreck than the last. He didn’t really date. That wasn’t what he did. He had moments. Moments of women in his life. They would come and go, and to keep himself from getting hurt, he wouldn’t get attached to them.He never told me any of this of course, it’s just what I had picked up through the years.
All Time Low came off the stage sweaty and hyped up from the crowd. Zack ripped his shirt yelling and laughing. Rian ran around and headed towards the door. Jack came off next and I went to greet him. As much as I hated myself when I thought these things, Jack was extremely sexy with his skin glistened with sweat.
“Fucking amazing show, Y/N,” Jack greeted me with a side hug.
“Oh, get a room.,” Alex called walking on after him.
“Shut up, Alex. I just gave her a fucking hug.”
“Intimate hug.” Alex laughed and ran off before Jack could get him. Jack looked over at me, his pupils barely visible in his dark eyes and gave me a lighthearted smile.
I smiled back and hugged him again. I loved the warmth that radiated off his body. Jack grinned down at me and we walked off towards our bus.
A couple of fans swarming around for autographs later, we got to the bus unmarked. I went to my bunk directly to give the guys a bit of time to wind down, as they always had after a crazy show. I dozed off after a bit while looking at my phone.
I was later woken up by Jack poking my face. My curtain had been drawn back, and his face was staring at mine, inches away. I breathed out in surprise, and blushed lightly, immediately looking down to hide my face.
“Y/N,” Jack whined. “Come watch a movie with us.”
I looked at my phone. “Jack, it’s 11,” I said peering up at him.
“All the more reason to watch a movie!”
I sighed and rolled out of the bunk. Thank god I was on the bottom, or else I probably would have fallen off quite easily. I followed Jack into the living room sort of place. Seriously these tour buses were like houses on wheels.
“Woke up your girlfriend, I see,” Rian grinned cheekily at Jack and me. Jack ignored it, but I blushed a bit. I don’t know why I’d always get so red and my stomach would lurch whenever someone would mention me and Jack being together. I’ve always wanted it to happen, but how could I with his fear of commitment and all. At least that’s what I called it. He seemed to like to call it “waiting.”
I asked him once, and he told me that he tried to find someone, but they weren’t right. None of them had the right laugh, the right smile, the right humor. He couldn’t be with someone who had no sense of humor. I had merely shrugged it off and we continued to cuddle and watch Monsters Inc.
I sat on the couch and swung my legs impatiently. “What’re we watching?” I asked Alex.
“Hell if I know, Jack picked it.”
“It’s either Home Alone or Nightmare Before Christmas.” I told him.
“It’s neither, actually.” Jack piped up. He put in the movie and didn’t even bother telling me which one it was. He sat down next to me, rather close, I might add.
“What is it?” I asked, cocking my head to one side.
“Remember the first movie I saw with you?” he was whispering only to me now.
“When we were 17, yeah, I remember.”
Jack smiled and I blushed again, even redder than I was before.
“Secrets don’t make friends!” Alex shouted at Jack. Jack laughed it off and continued to watch the movie.
After the first movie, it was around 1 or so, and the guys were all continuously yawning. Alex had gone to the back to be with Lisa, but Rian, Zack, and Cass had stayed to continue to watch whatever was next.
“We should watch TV,” Jack stated. He was now lying next to me/on me on the couch. It wasn’t very wide, so we did what we had to. I was used to this, as much as I could be anyway. We always liked to cuddle while watching moves. I was thankful he wasn’t lying on my chest, since my heart was beating about a mile a minute.
“I’m down,” I chimed in. Rian , Zack, and Cass all nodded their heads as well. Jack reached up and grabbed the remote and I caught a whiff of his cologne. I felt my heart going faster than it already was, and blushed again.
Jack put Adventure Time on, and I grabbed a book I was reading of the side table thing. We were like that for awhile. At least until the end of the show was near, and Jack started to drift off. I could hardly concentrate on what I was reading due to how close he was out in the open. He first was resting his head on his hand, but as he fell asleep harder, his head slipped off and fell on my boobs. It didn’t hurt, just shocked me.I felt my face go hot, and because I couldn’t control it made me want to curl up in a ball and hide myself forever.
Once the first episode we were watching ended, Zack looked over at Jack and me to see if we’d change the channel. He snickered at us, and that caused Rian and Cass to look at us as well. I felt my hands start to sweat.
“Comfortable?” Zack questioned.
“He definitely is,” I murmured.
“Why don’t you guys just kiss already?” Cass asked. “You can tell you both really like each other, I mean it’s not hard to see.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I kept my poker face on.
“She’s not wrong,” Rian caught on.”Look at that face. Look how happy he is.”
“You two need to get together. Like right now. Right here.” Zack smiled.
“Seriously, guys. Jack doesn’t like me, we’re friends. That’s it. Nothing more, and nothing less.”
“What’s with all this commotion out here?” Alex said, coming back into the room. I groaned in frustration, and he turned to look at me. “Are they dating yet?” He asked Rian with a jerk of a thumb in our direction.
“Not yet.”
“They should. Look how close and personal he is with her.”
“Why are you talking about me like I’m not in the room?” I asked Alex.
“Because you won’t admit that you’re perfect for each other.”
I sighed, and gave up, and for whatever reason, my exhaling breath was what woke Jack up.
“What’s going on?” he asked in a sleepy raspy sexy voice. Shit.
“Oh the usual,” Alex smirked. “Just teasing your girlfriend.”
“Oh okay,” Jack turned to look at my tomato face. “Hi.”
I fucking almost died right there. His cute droopy eyes were staring at me, and his lips never looked so kissable. And for once in our entire lives, he never got defensive over being with me. I glanced into his eyes, then at his lips and back and forth until he understood what I was doing. The sexual tension was so tight, you could use a pocket knife to cut it right in half. No one spoke a word. The only sound was my heavy breathing.
Jack made the slightest movement towards me, and I just couldn’t stand it anymore and grabbed him by the back of the neck and pulled him close to kiss him. He kissed back after a few seconds, and then I pulled away.
Silence filled the room again and I was staring into Jack’s eyes while he was staring into mine. “Fucking finally,” Alex said breaking the stillness of the air. I looked around, completely unaware that people were still here.
“Shit,” I muttered under my breath. I forgot about everyone there watching. I was just distracted by Jack’s adorable face that I lost it. I stood up and ran to my bunk so I could hide my face forever.
I heard everyone just walk around the bus like normal. They didn’t even bat an eyelash at me kissing Jack. Was it really that obvious?
Someone came to my bunk and kneeled down next to it. They opened the curtain and I was yet again confronted by Jack’s face. He touched his lips lightly with his fingers. “So that’s how it feels to kiss you..” He stated. I just merely nodded. “I always wondered what that would feel like.” His eyes smiled and he kissed me again.
I just stared back at him. He glanced up at me and I hid behind my hair. “Y/N, I want to do that more often.” He didn’t even flinch with his words. “Do you?”
I slowly nodded my head.
“Good.” He smiled and crawled in my bed next to me. “You know, you’ve always been my favorite.”
I smiled and he took my hand, rubbing it with his thumb.
“I never thought that this would happen, but I’m so glad it did. I really like you, and I don’t want to fuck this up. Do you want to be my girlfriend?” He held his breath and turned towards me.
“Hell fucking yes!” I shouted a bit louder than I intended to and threw my arms around his neck.They were the first words I’d said to him since he fell asleep. My stomach was churning and I couldn’t care less.
“Someone throw them a party,” Alex called to the rest of the bus. “Our OTP just became canon!”

AN First, I’m sorry that I barely said Y/N in it. Most of it was description. Which isn’t usually how I write. I usually have lots of dialogue. This one did, but also lots of extra writing. And it’s longer! so yay! I’m writing these a lot quicker now, and that makes me happy. I’m hoping you guys are enjoying it as much as I am writing it. The conversation is between Y/N and her friend.
