Chapter Nine.

Sara's POV

It has been a couple of days since the whole Miles and Brydon thing went down, and I couldn't get if off my mind. Tonight Alex was taking me out to dinner, that way he can try and get my mind back to normal. Even if my mind hasn’t been normal since the day I was taken away by Brydon.

“Are you ready, babe?” Alex asked me as he walked into the bathroom, where I was just finishing up my make-up.

“Sure am.” I said with a small smile as I turned around and looked at him. He had on a grey t-shirt, black skinny jeans, a black leather jacket, a grey beanie, and a pair of black Vans. To say he looked good, would be a understatement. He gave me a smile as he offered me his hand to take, which I gladly did. Jack had come over earlier to take Baz and Peyton to his house, that way he could play with them, because let’s be honest, Jack thinks of them as his dogs, not ours. Alex and I walked out of the house, with him locking it behind us. I looked around outside, still being paranoid that someone was watching me. Or watching us. I heard Alex sigh as he looked over to me.

“Calm down babe, no one is watching us. You are perfectly fine. And even if something did happen, I would be here to protect you and put a stop to it. I promise you that.” He said as we walked over to the car together. I nodded my head slowly in understanding, even if I didn’t really feel all that safe, even if I should. We got in the car together, and Alex turned it on, starting our trip to wherever he was taking me. We drove for about a hour, till I finally had to ask him where we were going.

“Alex, please tell me where you are taking me.” I said in my quiet voice, I still haven’t got used to using my real voice yet. He chuckled and shook his head.

“Not telling you. You have to wait till we get there.” He said with a smirk. I let out a sigh and tried my best to contain my nervous. Which didn’t really help much. We drove for what seemed like a lift time, but was really only two hours. We pulled up outside this really fancy outside, treehouse restaurant. And to say is was beautiful, would be more of a understatement than anything in the world. I looked over to Alex as we were walking hand-in-hand to the waiter who was standing by the entrance.

“You like?” He asked quietly.

“I love.” I spoke with a small giggle. He smiled at me and we made our way over to the waiter.

“Name of party?” The waiter asked us. Alex made a reservation, so we didn’t have to wait.

“Gaskarth.” Alex spoke with a small.

"Table for two?" The waiter asked as he looked up from his log book. Alex smiled and shook his head. The waiter told us to follow him, which we did, and he led us to the top of the treehouse, to the balcony. Where only one table was set up, and it had candles all around it, also having little rose petals around the table as well. I gasped at the sight, and Alex just chuckled at me. “I’ll be right back to take your orders.” The waiter spoke as he walked away. Alex brought me closer to the table, and pulled my chair out for me. I thanked him as he pushed my chair in, and went around the table to his chair. The waiter came back a few minutes later, to take our orders, Alex and I both got the same thing, Pan-Seared Chicken Breasts with Shallots. We talked for a few minutes until our food came, then we ate in a comfortable silence, and Alex even had them playing some Green Day music for us. Once we had finished eating our dinner, Alex paid as we walked out. We got back in the car and we started talking as Alex drove.

“So, did you like the dinner?” He asked with a smile.

“It was amazing, Alex. Thank you for taking me out.” I spoke with a smile to match his.

“I’m glad you enjoyed it baby. But the night's not over yet.” He spoke as he took my hand in his, keeping one hand on the wheel. I was going to ask him where else he was taking me, but I decided not to question it, knowing he wouldn’t tell me. We drove for another hour, making it halfway back to our house till Alex took a turn down a dirt road. I gave him a confused look, and he just sent me his award winning smile. At the end of the dirt road, was a little cliff with a bench on it. We got out of the car and Alex walked over to me, taking my hand in his, as he pulled me over to the bench. He pointed to the view in front of us, and wow was it beautiful. The sun was just starting to set, and the sky was turning to a beautiful mix of orange, pink, and purple.

“It’s so beautiful.” I spoke softly.

“Not as beautiful as you are.” Alex spoke. I looked over to him and saw he was already looking at me. I felt a blush creep up on my face and I turned away from him, but he put two fingers under my chin and brought my head back to look at him. We were both staring into each others eyes for a good two minutes. “I love you, Sara.” He spoke, before placing his lips onto mine in a deep, passionate kiss.

Notes

I just want to say a quick Happy 27th Birthday to this cutie right here!

Sorry this chapter is so short. I'm not really in the mood to write do due my writers block. Once I come up with more ideas and shit, I'll come back to my stories, I'll be taking a well needed break from writing, on all my stories.

I'm sorry....it would be a lot longer, but I lost interest in it. And it wasn't fun for me to write anymore ._. I didn't want to leave it off on the date, so I forced myself to put a couple more chapters. ;-;
