Lost.

Sara’s POV

“Alex!” I heard, making me turn my head quickly, to see Jack, Zack, and Rain all running over to us as fast as they could. I didn’t know what to do. I was frozen in my seat from shock. Zack and Rain made their way over to Alex and Brydon as Jack made his way over to me and throw his arms around me, moving me so I was on his lap, facing away from what was going on.

“Alex! Chill the fuck out! Zack has him held down!” I heard the voice of Rain shout. “Just take out your damn phone and call the police! That way we can finally put an end to this.” A end. A end to all things Brydon has ever done to me. I needed that to happen. I needed him to be out of my life for good.

“Fine. But keep him on the fucking ground.” Alex spoke, I could hear the anger in his voice. I looked over on the bench, and saw Baz had jumped up on the bench, trying to get my attention. Baz has always been the one who was worried about me most. Peyton worried about Alex more, but I don’t care, as long as we still have both of them with us. I removed my arms from around Jack’s neck and moved so that I was still on Jack’s lap, but able for Baz to lay down on my lap. I patted my leg and Baz climbed onto me, and laid right down, curled in a ball. I heard Jack let out a small chuckle when Baz laid down. I looked to Jack and gave him a small smile. Alex was okay with me sitting on Jack’s lap, because out of all four of them, Jack has always been a closer friend to me than any of them. Alex understands it as well, because when we were younger, Jack was always the one that Cass and I would talk to about girly stuff. Because the others wouldn’t listen to us, but he would. I looked back at my lap and started to pet Baz on the head. I soon heard the sounds of police sirens coming, and coming quickly. I looked over to Zack, Rain, and Alex. I saw Zack was holding Brydon down, but he was fighting to get up. He might as well just give up, because there is no way that he can get away from Zack. I picked Baz up and put him on the ground, and I moved to get off of Jack’s lap, but he grabbed my hand.

“What do you think you are doing?” He asked with a eyebrow raised.

“Oh hush. Let me do what I want.” I said with a laugh as I pulled my hand away from his and started to walk over to where the others were. Alex looked up and saw me walking over to them, he walked to me and stopped me.

“What are you doing?” He asked me.

“Going to kick Brydon in the ribs one time.” I said with a innocent smile. Alex chuckled and shook his head, moving to the side and letting me past him. I made my way over to Brydon, Zack, and Rain. “Well, I have to do something before the police get here.” I spoke, getting everyone’s eyes on me.

“Have you come to help me out, babe?” Brydon asked with his evil smirk, which made me gag.

“First off, never call me babe. Secondly, I just wanted to do this.” I ended my sentence, with a kick to Brydon’s side. Making him let out a yelp of pain. Which I would be lying, if I said that it didn’t make me smile to see him in pain. I saw and heard everyone let out little laughs as they saw the smile come onto my face. I sent another kick to his side, this time I’m sure I broke something. I gave Brydon a nice innocent smile and made my way back over to Alex. “Well, that was fun.”

“Reminds me of high school.” Alex said with a chuckle.

“Ahh, memories.” I said as I let out a giggle. Alex bent down and placed his lips onto mine. Which I gladly returned the favor. We heard the police sirens turn off as we heard the sounds of running feet. We broke from the kiss and saw that police had already brought Brydon to his feet and put him in cuffs. “Officer! Can I slap him once before you take him away? I need to at least get a little bit of revenge.” I spoke with a innocent smile, I knew these cops, so they would let me get away with anything I wanted.

“Sure Sara.” Officer Cory spoke as he brought Brydon closer to me. I looked up into Brydon’s eyes, him smirking at me, but not for long. I pulled my hand back and slapped him across the face so hard you could hear it a mile away. “Damn, nice one girly.” Officer Cory said with a laugh. I giggled and he dragged Brydon to the cop car. Alex turned me around in his arms and smirked at me.

“You already kicked him in the ribs, not once, but two times, was slapping him really called for?” Alex spoke, still smirking, to tell me he was joking.

“Yes, yes it was.” I said proudly. He chuckled at me and placed his lips onto mine again. We pulled away once Rain, Jack, and Zack all walked over to us with smiles on their faces.

“Looks like it’s finally over.” Zack spoke first.

“About damn time.” I spoke, getting a laugh from everyone. We turned and watched the police cars drive off, one with Brydon in the back seat.

“Let’s go home and eat. All this drama made me hungry.” Alex spoke.

“When are you never hungry? I asked with a giggle.

“Never.” Jack spoke. We all laughed at we started walking.

“Baz! Peyton! Come on boys!” I shouted back to the laying dogs under the tree. They jumped up at my voice and ran after us.
