Alex’s POV

One Month Later

It’s been one month since I started up my classes back here in Baltimore, and things have been going a lot better for me since then. To say I don’t think about Jack every now and then, would be a lie. He was my first love, so yeah I’m going to still think about him, but I don’t think I could ever forgive him for hurting me the way he did. I still cried myself to sleep at least three times a week because of it, but I’m getting better. Plus, I was currently walking to my lecture hall right now.

“Hey babe.” Andy spoke as he walked to my side and took my hand in his.

Did I mention that Andy and I our dating now? Well, we are, and it’s great. Brent and his stupid friends don’t mess with me anymore, mostly because they know for sure that Andy will kick there asses. And he is a really sweet guy, who I found out later the first day I met him, has many, many tattoos. Which was very attractive.

“Hey.” I said smiling at the guy next to me as he placed a kiss on my cheek.

“How were you when I left last night?” He asked with a smile as we continued to walk.

“Pretty good. Rian and I played Super Smash Bros and I kicked his ass.” I giggled at the thought of last night and how Rian threw his controller after I beat him for the third time in a row.

“Glad to hear it.” He chuckled as he opened the lecture hall door, letting me go in first. “After you, my love.” I walked in the door and turned around and took Andy’s hand again as he walked in as well. We walked down the aisle and down the row, to where I normally sit, and Andy sits next to me now. I found out the first day I met him, that it was his first day at the college because he just transferred here from Ohio. Yes, the seats next to me normally had other people in them, but one kid was scared of Andy and moved away as quickly as he could and Andy just took his seat. Why they are scared of him? I don’t know, he has such a kind heart that’s filled with care and love.
Ever since I started my classes back up, I have been a lot more social with a few people. But, I guess I only have Jack to thank for that. I wish he didn’t delete his number from my phone, that way I could text him and tell him thank you for the fun times. I still talk to Austin and Hayley every now and then, as well. As it goes for TJ, she took Hayley’s phone one night and got my number, and texted me non-stop. But Andy put her in her place real quick. I could tell just like Jack, that Andy don’t take shit from nobody. He also drinks a lot of alcohol like Jack, too.
Yes, I keep comparing him to Jack, because let’s be real, I still love Jack. I’m pretty sure I always will. But I don’t think I would ever get back together with him, not after what he did to me.

“Babe.” Andy’s voice spoke. I looked over to him to tell him I was listening. “We should go on a date tonight.” He said, keeping that adorable smile on his face.

“Okay, where to?” I asked as I turned my chair and plopped my legs over his lap.

“Uh, I don’t really know. Dinner and a movie?”

“Sounds fine by me.”

“Awesome. After all the boring lectures today, I’ll walk you back to your dorm and you can get ready while I got back to my dorm and get ready, as well.” He said with a chuckle.

“Alright.” I said leaning forward and placing a small kiss on his lips, which he happily returned. Andy always takes me on dates, I don’t think I ever went on a date with Jack, yeah we went bowling together, but Austin was there too. So yeah, not really a date. Plus Andy does all these little cute things for me. I told him about the whole Jack thing, and he totally understood where I was coming from, he too said it hurts when you lose your first love. But, only time can heal the wounds that were formed.
