Alex’s POV

Jack and I have been at Hayley and TJ’s house for the past three days, we were becoming close with Hayley. Not so much TJ though, mostly because of the eyes she keeps making at me. She kept giving me these eyes as if she was ready to jump on me at any moment and just rip my clothes off, it made me feel rather uncomfortable. Every time Jack saw TJ make eyes at me, he would always grab me and pull me close to him and kiss me till she stopped. Jack and I were currently laying in our bed, with me laying on top of him, due to us both being in a cuddly mood. We were also talking about TJ, because her and Hayley were not home at the moment, and that's the only time Jack and I really get to talk about what’s going on in our minds.

“I really think we should leave, Lex.” Jack commented.

“Where do you want to go?” I asked as I lifted my head up and looked at him.

“Anywhere. Away from TJ. Away from Zack.”

“How many times has Zack called you over the past few days?”

“About six times a day. It’s really bugging me. Yeah, I understand the guy is in love with me, I get it. But I can’t act like I’m in love with him when I’m not. You know what I mean?”

“It’s perfectly understandable.”

“Plus, I can’t hide the fact that I’m in love with you.” He spoke, smirk playing on his lips. I let out a small giggle and pushed myself up so that I could place a kiss on his lips, which he gladly returned. We pulled away from the kiss, just in time for us to hear the front door open and close.

“Jack! Alex! We’re home!” Hayley’s voice shouted.

“Okay Mom! We will be out in a minute!” Jack shouted. He had a thing for calling Hayley mom, because she truly acted like one, which we were both fine with. I placed another kiss on Jack’s lips and rolled off of him, forgetting that the bed was small, and ended up falling off. I landed with a thud, and I heard Jack crack up laughing. “Holy shit that was funny!” I groaned and heard the sounds of footsteps running. The door swung open about two seconds later, revealing a very concerned looking Hayley.

“What the hell was that?! I about had a heart attack!” Hayley spoke quickly.

“Alex rolled off the bed.” Jack spoke, trying to hold back his laughter.

“And you were laughing at him? What kind of boyfriend does that!” TJ spoke, as she pushed her way into the room. She made her way over to me and helped me off the ground. “Are you okay, babe?” Okay, that was the first time she ever called me babe, and I didn’t really like it very much. I looked over to Jack and saw the look in his eyes, yeah, he didn’t like it very much either.

“He’s fine.” Jack spoke as he got off the bed and grabbed my hand, pulling me closer to him. He looked down at me. “You’re okay, right?”

“I’m perfectly fine. My head just hurts a little bit, but I’ll be fine.” I spoke. He sent me a smile and placed a kiss on my cheek. I heard TJ let out a groan and make her way out of the room.

“Hayley, what is up with her?” Jack asked, looking over to the bright haired girl.

“I have no clue really. I have never seen her like this before. I’m sure she’s fine. Anyways, Jack, I need to make a quick run to the store to get a few things. Come with me please?” Hayley asked.

“Sure.” He said, sending her a smile. “Will you be okay here alone, Lex?”

“Yeah. But you should get me some ice cream while you are out. I want ice cream.” I said with a smirk.

“Then ice cream you shall get. Come on, let’s go out in the living room so I can grab my shoes and wallet.” He spoke. I nodded in agreement, and we followed Hayley out of the room, making our way down the hall and into the living room, where I saw TJ sitting on the couch, with her nose in her phone. I walked over to the other couch and Jack sat at the dining room table, putting on his shoes.

“Ready Jacky?” Hayley asked.

“Sure am.” He said. He walked over to the couch I was sitting on and bent down, placing a quick kiss on my lips. “I’ll be back in less than fifteen minutes. If you need anything, call me, alright?”

“Okay. Be safe.” I said, waving good-bye to him as he walked over to the door, where Hayley was standing and waiting. He blew me a quick kiss, and shut the door behind them as they stepped out. I pulled out my phone and sent a text to Rian.

To: Rian
Hey Ri! How are ya?

I sent the message and ended up getting a reply within a minute. I put in my phones password and opened the message up.

From: Rian
Things are going pretty good. Cass and I got engaged last night! It was perfect. I took her out to a beautiful dinner, and I asked her in the middle of the restaurant. Yes, we are both still pretty young, but I know for sure that she is the one. Can I ask you something?

I smiled at the text, I was so happy for them. Yes, I never met Cass, but I will soon. But I know for sure that they were made for each other.

To: Rian
Congrats! Also, you can ask me anything!

From: Rian
Will you be my best man?

To: Rian
Oh my gosh! Is this really life?! OH MY GOSH! YES YES YES YES!

I couldn’t control how happy I was, that I squealed in real life, earning a confused look from TJ.

From: Rian
Dude! Calm down! You are acting like I just asked YOU to marry me! Haha!

To: Rian
I can’t help it! My best friend is getting married! And I’m going to be the best man! Holy shit Ri!

From: Rian
It’s so surreal, I know. Haha, anyways, I got lots of paperwork and shit to do. Call ya soon?

To: Rian
Yeah! Talk to you soon!

I sent that last text and put the phone in my pocket. I ended up squealing with happiness again, due to not being able to hold it back.

“What the hell is your problem? Did Jack ask you to marry him on a text or something?” TJ asked, putting her phone on the table.

“No. But close, my best friend texted me, saying that him and said him and his girlfriend just got engaged last night. He asked me to be his best man!” I said with a huge smile, but calming down a bit, still not very comfortable around her.

“Okay Alex, how come you always lose your outgoing self when I speak to you?” She asked, as she stood up and made her way over to the couch I was sitting on, and sat next to me. I moved away a bit, pressing up against the arm of the couch.

“I’m not a outgoing person.” I said quietly.

“But you are not shy when you get to know someone. I have seen that about your personality since you have been here.” She spoke, moving closer to me, so she was almost pressed up against me.

“Please back away from me.” I spoke, keeping my quiet tone. Yes, she was making me a bit scared. But, I’m not speaking a soft tone like this because she is, I’m speaking like it because I am a shy person, everyone knows that.

“Oh come on Lexy-boy. We have about five minutes before Hayley and Jack get back. Let’s have a little fun of our own.”

“No. Get away from me.” I said, as I tried to push myself off the couch. But, as I did so, she grabbed onto my arm and pulled me back down, placing herself onto my lap and slamming her lips onto mine. I was in a moment of shock, but once I came back to reality I pushed her off me, so she landed on the couch. I jumped up from the couch and I felt nothing but anger. I never get mad, what the hell is she doing to me? “I told you to get away from me!” I shouted. I heard the door open, but I didn’t turn around and look, I didn’t care. “You have no fucking right to touch me!”

“Whoa, holy shit. Lex never yells, or gets mad, what the fuck.” I heard Jack’s voice from behind me, but I didn’t care.

“I can’t fucking believe you just did that! I have a boyfriend!” I continued shouting. I felt arms around my waist, and felt myself being turned around. Once I was fully turned around, I met the worried eyes of my loving boyfriend.

“What the fuck just happened?” He asked, sounding so confused.

“I told her to get away from me, because she kept coming closer and closer to me. She said ‘We have about five minutes before Hayley and Jack get back. Let’s have a little fun of our own.’ I told her no. I tried to get off the fucking couch and she pulled me back down, jumped on my lap and smashed her lips onto mine. I pushed her off of me and you two walked in as I started shouting.” I spoke as I crossed my arms over my chest, I could still feel my blood boiling.

“Theresa!” Hayley shouted.

“Oh shut up. He’s hot. I want him.” TJ groaned. I huffed and let out a groan of my own. I looked in Jack’s eyes and saw nothing but anger as he made eye contact with TJ.

“Alex, go pack your bags. We’re leaving. I’ll be up in back in the room with you in a minute. Theresa and I are going to have a little talk.” He said, growling when he said TJ’s name. I have seen Jack mad before, and it really scared me. I did as told and started my way to the room, before I entered the hallway, I turned and spoke to Hayley.

“Watch him. He’s scary when he’s mad.” I said. She nodded her head and walked over never to Jack who was sending TJ a death glare. I made my way back down the hallway and into our bedroom.

Where we we going to go now?

Hey everyone! Sorry I went MIA for about two weeks.
The first week I had a job and shit to do.
Earlier this week, I was without internet. I just got internet back today.
Also, my Grandpa passed away on Wednesday, so that is another reason I was gone.
