Alex POV

"I don't know what it is but something about her intrigues me," I talked into the phone.

"Dude, you have a girlfriend so," Jack responded.

"Yeah, I mean I love Lisa, don't get me wrong. I've always loved Lisa. Something about Wendy though is really intriguing. Like I ran into her twice today. She was really sassy and like borderline rude but I wanted to talk to her. I tried to get her number."

"Dude, you have a girlfriend. Don't pursue her. You can do better than her anyway. Lisa and you are perfect leave it at that."

"It was worth a try, I mean if you don't try you never know."

"Whatever."

"I need to go, Lisa is supposed to be here any time now."

I hung up the phone without a goodbye. How could Jack say that about Wendy? He loved talking to her the other day, what had changed. She was so mysterious, I was desperate to find out more about her. I didn't think she was as rude as she personified herself. There was something inside her that she was hiding, I mean we are all hiding something anyway.

I heard a knock on the door and I quickly ran downstairs to get it. My parents were out to dinner right now and they trusted Lisa and I here alone. I opened the door and she was standing there looking down at the ground. She was gorgeous, I really did love her.

"Hey babe," I said, pecking her lips.

"Hey baby," she smiled back.

I pulled her inside and got the popcorn as we sat on my couch. We were just going to watch some movies all night. We weren't ones for typical dates but it was kind of spur of the moment so there wasn't time to plan anything huge. I put in the first Saw and sat next to her on the couch. She snuggled into my side as the movie began.

"Horror movies again," she asked.

"Do you not like them," I asked.

"No, it's fine."

"Is it really fine?"

"Yeah, it is."

She smiled at me before pecking my lips once again. I couldn't help but smile at the tiny, beautiful girl under my arm. I grabbed the blanket and pulled it around us. I kissed her forehead before turning my attention back to the movie. Dr. Gordon and Adam had begun to discuss what had landed them in that situation.

As the first Saw movie ended and the second one began the front door opened.

"Lexxy," my mother called.

"In here with Lis," I yelled back.

"Alright, just make sure Lisa gets home at a reasonable time. I don't want her parents upset with you."

"Yeah Mom, I know."

I looked down at Lisa who hadn't said anything and saw she was sleeping comfortable cuddled into my side. I kissed the top of her head. Did I really love her? I mean, I felt something for her but was it actually love? That I wasn't quite sure. I mean, I think I did. Somehow Wendy still managed to find her way into my mind. Something about her was so intriguing.

This isn't my favorite chapter but it gives a lot of insight into Alex's mind. Just for claification I have nothing against Lisa. I think her and Alex are the most adorable couple and I'm so happy that they are happy. I'm also sorry that a lot of this is dialogue, it just makes it easier for me to give insight on him. Oh, and Saw is to me as Home Alone is to Jack. Yeah, I can freaking quote it all. It's so great.
