"Alex, you couldn't expect her to forgive you that easily. To her knowledge you started it. I believe you but it really looks like you initiated it," Rian said.

"But I fucking didn't! How much do I have to say that," I snarled at the bright toothed boy.

"Wait, what are you saying Kara, can you repeat that," I heard Jack in the other room.

We were all at my house which was the closest to Wendy's and Kara's house. Jack was on the phone, apparently with Kara. Their friendship made me angry right now. I wasn't angry that he was talking to her, I was jealous that they were still speaking.

Jack came running into the room, his face full of shock and worry. He was panting slightly as he stopped running.

"We need to help. Wendy ran off and Kara is freaking out," Jack panted slightly.

"I don't care," I muttered as I got up.

"Then why are you standing up?"

"Because I care."

I ran out of the house, the other three guys close on my tail. Jack took the lead, running to where Kara must have told him she'd be. She was crying when we approached her, she was pointing in a direction. I let the guys handle it, I ran in the direction she was pointing. I wasn't quite sure where I was going but I knew I was going to find her.

Finally I heard her voice softly whisper, "Nate?"

Oh. Hell. No. I continued walking to where I had heard the voice. I approached, keeping my distance, and saw the beautiful girl on the ground, cowering away from that evil boy. I couldn't quite make out what he was saying, his back was towards me.

I could see the fear on her face, he needed to get out of here. I needed to help her even though I really didn't want to. I apparently hurt her more than he ever did but still, I wanted to protect her, she deserved it. I sighed and approached the scene.

"Please leave Nate," she whispered.

"Or what," he asked.

"Or else," I said from behind him.

He turned on his heel, facing me. I was taller than him but barely. He swung at my face and I took the punch, my cheek probably bruising. I turned and slammed my first into his face harder, knocking him down. I kicked him in the stomach repeatedly. Wendy grabbed my arm and pulled me away from the bruising and bloody boy.

"Please, don't do this Alex," she whispered.

"I want to protect you. I need to protect you," I whispered to her.

"I'm sorry."

"I should apologize to you for getting so angry when you wouldn't believe me."

"I should have believed you, I really should have. I should've known that you would never do that on purpose."

"You have every right."

I took her hand and we began to walk from the alleyway where we had been. She was still afraid, you could tell it by her face. I pulled her close to me as we walked, I wanted to make her feel safe. All I had wanted was for her to realize that I wasn't lying.

I looked down at her and realized that she was looking up at me. Our eyes locked and we both slightly smiled. I tightened my arms around her, pulling her closer. I softly pressed my lips back onto hers. It felt so right. So natural. She was everything I had ever wanted. Ever needed.

Notes

This is the last thing that I'll be updating for the week (possible I don't really know how my schedule is going to work out) and I'm sorry that it isn't that great. There's some violence, some love and some drama so I hope that makes up for it.

If anyone has any new music suggestions let me know (more rock or metal if you know any). I'm running out of bands that I haven't heard for a while and I'm really looking for more.
