Alex

I stared down at Wendy in my arms. God, she was so gorgeous. I pulled her into my lap and kissed her forehead carefully. She giggled softly and blushed a deep red. I kissed her hair and wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Well isn't that cute," Rian said sitting on the couch next to us.

"What can I say, look how gorgeous she is," I smiled, kissing her cheek.

"Don't fuck on the couch please."

"Naw, I'm still a little tired."

"Alex," Wendy said smacking my chest.

"What babe?"

I kissed her, tangling my hands in her hair. She happily complied resting her hands on my hips. I smiled against her lips. She pulled away giggling. She was so perfect, what had I done to deserve her?

"No," Jack said, pushing Wendy out of my lap, sitting in it himself.

Wendy and Kara started laughing as Jack looped his arms around my waist and nuzzled his head into my chest. I rolled my eyes at my best friend and pat his back. I hated him when he was like this but he was my best friend and I didn't know what I'd do without him.

"Where's my kiss," he asked doe-eyed.

"Fuck you," I said trying to push him off.

He smiled at me showing the jest in the request. That's when I forgot to mention the phone call I had had with Billie. I tried to sit up but Jack wasn't moving making it difficult to merely sit up. I sighed and gave up seeing as it was pointless to try to fight him.

"So Billie called earlier, while we were playing," I said.

"And," Jack said eagerly as he bounced.

"First off, Jack don't bounce. You're sitting in my lap and it's uncomfortable and weird. Secondly, he had mentioned us to the record company. They want to hear a demo. We have a chance at this guys."

"Are you fucking serious," Zack said from the back.

"Yes Merrick, I am."

"I'm proud of you guys," Wendy said with a sad smile.

"Why did you wait to tell us this," Jack said, ignoring the sad look.

"Cause."

Wendy sat there, the sad look not leaving her face. I wasn't going to leave her. No matter what happened I would never leave her. She was my only one.

Notes

So, I lied, I have time to update today. Not much (I have to leave in a few hours to get to the coliseum but whatever) but I thought I could make use of it. I might update another story today but I am unsure.
