Today is your birthday, and your brother, Zack, and his friends are planning something, but Zack won't tell you what it is.

"Pick up your damn phone Zack..." You mutter to your self as you held your phone to your ear.

"Hello?" You heard Zack's voice on the other end say.

"Hey loser, what time are you picking me up? I'm ready, and I'm bored." You wined.

"I just pulled in your drive way. Come on out." You could almost here his smile in the phone.

You hung up the phone and jumped up and ran to the door.

You were turning 21 years old today.

So you knew the boys were going to be planning something awesome.

You just hoped that Alex was there.

You always had a little crush on him.

You ran outside and saw Zack sitting in his Jeep smiling at you.

You ran over to his jeep and jumped in.

"Let's get this party started!" You shouted throwing your hands in the air.

Zack laughed at you. "Happy 21st little sis."

You threw your hands up in the air again as Zack started to drive off.

"How long till we get there?! We have been driving for a hour!" You said to your brother.

"We are going to be about another hour. Just try and get some sleep."

"Sleep?!? Sleep is for the weak!!" You shouted, again, throwing your hands in the air.

Zack laughed at how excited you were.

Not even ten minutes later, and you were pasted out sleeping in the jeep.

The next thing you knew, your eyes opened up to moving, but not car moving, someone was carrying you.

You opened your eyes all the way to see who it was.

Alex.

"Well....hello Mr. Gaskarth." You said with a smirk.

"Haha, hey lil' Merrick." He smiled down at you.

"Can I walk now?"

"Oh, yeah. Sure." Alex said as he put you down and threw his arm around your shoulders.

"I'm finally 21...I can drink! Well, without going to jail for it..." You said blushing.

"Calm down now. I never said you were drinking tonight." Zack said with a sly smile on his face.

"Fuck off, I'm going to drink till I fucking drop." You said smirking at your older brother who was on the other side of you.

You guys walked up to a bar.

Alex and Zack walked in first.

You walked in after them and didn't see anything but darkness.

Alex flipped on the lights.

"Happy Birthday A/N!!!" Tons of people yelled at the same time.

You were shocked at all the people that had come.

You were smiling big now, and then you were being picked up and spun around.

"Happy Birthday Merrick!!" Jack shouted as he kept spinning you.

"Thank you Jack! Now put me down!" You said laughing.

He set you down and two big arms wrapped around you.

"Happy birthday A/N." You heard Rian say to you.

"Thanks Ri!" You said hugging him back.

"Now, I don't know about you guys, but I need alcohol.....and I need it now!" You said looking around at the group around you.

After three hours had passed, you were a bit tipsy, not fully drunk, you could still talk straight, and you didn't want to drink anymore because you wanted to remember everything that happened tonight.

You opened all your gifts that everyone had got you, and you thanked everyone with hugs.

The crowd went quiet.

You looked over and saw Alex and Zack bringing a lit birthday cake over to you.

You smiled at them.

"You guys really are the best." You said once they were by your side.

They smiled at you and set the cake on the table.

"Okay everyone! 1....2....3!" Zack shouted.

Everyone started to sing.

"Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday dear A/N!
Happy Birthday to you!"

You blew out the candles and hugged everyone who was around you.

You saw Zack give Alex a nod and a smirk.

You knew that your brother knew you had a crush on Alex.

So it worried you a bit.

You turned around ignoring it and started talking to Jack.

"Okay, as much as I love talking to you lil' one. But you need to turn around." Jack said smiling at you.

"But I want to talk to you!" You pouted.

Jack smirked and grabbed your shoulders and turned you around.

You were met with lips on yours.

You froze, not knowing who it was.

You looked up at the facial features, and saw it was the one and only Alex.

Once you saw it was him, you started to kiss him back.

His hands went around your waist , and your hands went to his hair.

He pulled away smiling.

You blushed and smiled back at him, looking him in his big brown eyes.

"Happy Birthday beautiful." He said and then kissed you again.

You thought to yourself during the kiss.

It's a good thing you didn't drink to much, because you sure as hell wanted to remember this night.
