Bonnie managed to sleep through the night without an issue. I know she’s not going to be okay after what Jason did to her. I’ve never even seen Nyssa so pissed off before. I’m hoping that what happened didn’t set Bonnie back on her healing process, if so I’m going to kill that bastard myself for ruining my girlfriend.
“Alex,” Bonnie groaned as she woke up.
“Yeah babe,” I replied, leaning over her on my elbow so she could see me.
“Can you help Nyssa out today with my plan. I would help, but with what happened, I need to rest,” she said drowsily, sleep still holding onto her voice.
“I can help. What do you need me to do,” I asked her.
“Make sure you keep Jack busy during the day while Jaime takes Nyssa out,” she instructed.
“I can do that,” I noticed she had a look of worry in her eyes, “Are you alright, Bonnie? Do you really want to spend the day alone?”
“I might go hang out with Josh and Matt today. I think they can help me out if anything happens to me,” she smiled weakly, too tired to smile warmly for me.
“There’s something else you aren’t telling me, babe,” I pressed her.
“I’ll tell you later, okay. Now go distract your best friend,” Bonnie pulled me down for a warm kiss before I climbed out of our bunk.
“I don’t like Bonnie’s plan,” Jack complained again. I looked around the room at everyone before we all took a shot. We turned Jack’s disliking of Bonnie’s idea and made it a game of shots.
“Relax, Jack. Bonnie knows that they won’t do anything,” Jake commented.
“I know Nyssa wouldn’t do anything, but I don’t fully trust them with her,” Jack griped. We all took a shot, “Stop making me protests against the plan a drinking game!”
“Jack, chill out we’re having fun. Loosen up a little. I need it too with what happened yesterday,” I told him.
“So you decide to make my sour mood your fun,” he complained.
“Alright I see your point. Game over,” I told everyone and we all put away our shot glasses.
I decided to take Jack onto the bus with Vic, Mike, Rian, and Jeremy to take turns playing Halo. I made sure Bonnie wasn’t asleep before I got the game started. Turned out she had left a note that she was on the YMAS bus with Matt and Josh playing a game of Fifa with them against Alex and Brooks over live. I was glad she was doing something to distract her.
“Hey Alex you have a party invite from I think Josh’s account,” Jack shouted. I went into the back lounge with the snacks and beers I grabbed for us to enjoy while we played. I grabbed my controller and accepted the invite.
“Hey Josh,” I greeted.
“Oh I see how it is,” Bonnie answered. She’s clever.
“Hi Bonnie. How’s it going over on the YMAS bus,” I asked her.
“Pretty good. I see you’re on Halo. You are such a nerd. Halo’s a terrible game,” she teased.
“It is not,” I whined.
“It is. I like Call of Duty better. Plus Assassin’s Creed and Soul Calibur and Batman,” she listed of her three favorite game franchises.
“Well I like Halo. But I’m your nerd so you can’t complain,” I told her.
“I know. Well we’re about to start playing our game and the last thing we need is a distraction,” I told her.
“But I need my good luck charm to help me beat Josh and his arsenal team,” she whined.
“I was joking. I’m not leaving the party. I might zone in on the game and ignore you on accident, just so you know,” I told her.
“That’s fine. I might do it too,” she replied before squealing, “Fuck you Max!”
“What did he do,” I asked.
“Tickled me in my ribs,” she sighed.
“Did you slap him,” I asked her.
“Hell yeah I did. Right on bare skin on his arm,” she told me before directing her attention to Max, “Serves you right bitch!”
Nyssa came back before doors and went right to Jack. Bonnie wandered in behind her, looking exhausted from her day with Josh and Matt along with Max and the rest of YMAS, Alex, and Brooks.
“Alex can I talk to you in the back lounge alone,” Bonnie asked.
“Sure,” I followed her to the back lounge and closed the door behind me, “Was there something you wanted to tell me from earlier today?”
“That’s why I wanted to talk to you back here alone,” she replied.
“Hold on,” I put an ear to the door and I heard breathing on the other side, “Guys go away. We’ll share what we’re talking about later if we want to. Now beat it!”
“Distractions aside, while I was at the hospital, I was told something I hoped wasn’t going to happen me yet. Not until I knew that I was ready to settle down,” Bonnie started.
“Bonnie, I’m confused,” I told her as I sat with my knees against hers as I took hold of her hands in mine.
“They ran all sorts of tests on me to make sure I was okay. One of the tests was one I hoped not to be positive,” she continued.
“Bonnie, what’s going on. Please stop stalling,” I looked into her eyes and I saw the worry again.
“Alex, I…I’m pregnant. I know for a fact that the baby is yours too. I’m so sorry,” Bonnie started to cry and I sat there in shock for a moment. Then I pulled her to me and held her tightly to me.
“Bonnie, I know you’re scared. I am too. I’m not going to let you go through this alone if you want to keep it. I’ll understand if you want to abort it too. I just want what’s best for you and what makes you happy,” I told her.
“Alex, I don’t think I’m ready to be a mom. I’m only 24 years old. You and I have been dating for maybe a month and a half. With my issues of keeping my anxiety in check, I think the added stress of this baby is going to break me down. I don’t think I can do it,” she sobbed.
“Bonnie, listen to me. I am not leaving you. I am not going to make you go through this alone. I love you so fucking much. I am going to help you stay strong. I am going to be a great father to our baby. You are going to be a great mother. We have plenty of time to get things planned out. For now, we’ll take everything a day at a time. When this tour is over, I am going to Orlando with you. Then I’m taking you with me to the UK and Europe. I want you to come live with me in Baltimore. We can even have Nyssa tag along. I can get you girls your own apartment and get both of you jobs if you want to support yourselves. Then when you’re ready, you can move in with me. I promise you Bonnie, I am not leaving you. I’m never leaving you,” I told her, showing her that I made that promise with her ring.
“Thank you Alex. We’ll need to tell Nyssa and Jack. Then we can tell the others after they know,” she sniffled as I wiped away her tears.
“I love you so much, Bonnie. You are not going to be alone in this. I promise,” I kissed her passionately.
“I love you too, Alex. Thank you for being here for me all these years,” she replied and kissed me again.
I will make sure I am ready to be a father to our baby, Bonnie. I will make sure you are ready to be a mother too. I know now, that I want to spend the rest of my life with only you. You are my only one. I love you so much.
