The Night Before

The little smile Jack had on his face when he walked in, went right away after Jenna met his eyes and said, "What is he doing here?"

What Jack knew was more bitter then intended.

"Hey Jenna..." Jack said as he put his head down.

"I'm going to ask again, what is HE doing here?" Jenna asked sounding pissed off, looking around at everyone else.

"Guys..can I talk to Jenna...alone?" Jack asked looking up to the group in the room.
"No You-" Jenna started.

"Sure, come on guys. If you need us, we will be right outside." Alex said as he grabbed Maya's hand to walk out of the room.

Everyone walked out of the room, as soon as the door was shut behind them, Jack made his way over to the side of Jenna's bed.

"Jenna..." Jack said holding back tears.

"I don't want to hear it Jack, it's plain and simple, you are nothing but a horny ass drunk that cheats." Jenna said looking the other way, holding back tears as well.

"Jenna. I'm sorr-" Jack was cut off by someone running into the room.

"Jenna!" The woman yelled, as she ran over to Jenna's side.

"Mom, what are you doing here?" Jenna asked looking at her confused.

"Maya called me. She kept calling me over and over again as I was in a meeting, I finally picked up on the third call. When Maya told me what happened I ran out of the building and got on the earliest flight I could." She replied as tears were starting to take over.

"Calm down Mom, I'm fine." Jenna said pulling her Mom into a hug. "Thanks for coming..." Jenna whispered into her Mom's ear.

"You..." Jenna's Mom said as she met Jack's eyes from the other side of the bed. "I should kill you for what you did..."

Jack just looked back at the ground, you could tell he was starting to cry.

"Mom, stop. He understands what he did, there is no need for you to say anything else to him."

"What are you saying Jenna? Are you saying you are forgiving him?" Jenna's Mom asked her with a confused look.

Jack looked up and met Jenna's eyes with hope in his.

"No." Jenna said bluntly, looking straight into his eyes again.

Jack looked right back at the ground again and walked out of the room, crying more than ever.

"Jenna. I talked to the doctor before I came in here. He said you could leave today. I'm taking you back home with me. Her Mom said looking up at her.

"Oh..." Jenna trailed off.

A few hours later, and Jenna was dressed and ready to leave the hospital.

Maya and Alex had brought her her stuff that was on the bus.

Everyone was driving to the airport, so they could say their good byes one last time.

Everyone, but Jack.

Maya was going to stay on tour with the boys, and come home when it was over.

"Well...this is it...I guess...Make sure you Skype me every fucking day Jen." Alex said pulling her into a hug.

"Stop hogging her Alex! You are not the only one who is going to miss her!" Rian said as he stepped in between them.

He pulled Jenna into a big hug and was fighting back his tears.

"I'm going to miss my little Jay-bear..." Rian said as he pulled away.

"I'll miss you guys as well. All of you, Alex, Rian, Zack, Matt, mostly Maya...and even Jack.." Jenna trailed off as she said the skunk haired boys name.

Everyone brought Jenna in for a group hug, as her Mother just stood off to the side and waited for her to finish her good byes.

Jenna stepped away from everyone and took a few steps to her Mom.

When she heard her name being called from a distance. She turned around and saw the skunk haired boy running as fast as he could with all the people in the way.

"Oh no, he doesn't. Jenna come on." Her Mother said as she took Jenna's arm. Jenna shook out of her Mom's grip and looked at her.

"I'm not leaving without hearing what he has to say..." Jenna said as she slowly walked the way Jack was running.

Jack and Jenna finally met in the middle of the crowd. Everyone of there friends had their eyes on them.

"Jenna..." Jack said out of breath.

"Hello Jack...Well...I should be saying good bye...not hello..." Jenna said as she looked to the ground. Jack took his finger under Jenna's chin and lifted her head back up.

"I need to tell you something..." Jack said looking in the girls eyes.

"You must hurry...I have a flight to get on..." Jenna said looking up at the taller of the two.
"Well, when I say this, I hope it will make you stay...here with me..." Jack said to her.

Jenna remained silent, waiting for Jack to continue what he had to say.

"Jenna, you are the most beautiful, outgoing, wonderful person I have ever known. I want to be with you for a very long time, I can't lose you. I'm the most stupid person in the world for doing what I did. I regret it every minute of my day, and I will for the rest of my life. I know we haven't been together for very long Jen...but I can see myself spending the rest of my life with you...I want to grow old with you, maybe even have a few kids on the way...not anytime soon, but, you know what I mean..." Jack trailed off at the end. "What I'm trying to say it, Jenna, please don't leave me....I love you..." Jack said, nothing over a whisper.

Jenna now had tears in her eyes. She didn't know what to say, she just stood there looking at him.

"Please say something..." Jack whispered.

She couldn't make out the words on how she was feeling.

She just wrapped her arms around Jack's waist and hugged him for what seemed like years.

Jack put his arms around the small frame of Jenna and just held her.

After a few minutes, Jenna pulled away, and looked up at Jack.

"Does this mean you are staying...? You don't have to if you don't want to..." Jack said looking into her eyes.

"Jack....I love you too....yes...I'm not going anywhere." She said with a small smile on her face.

Jack's small grin her had on his face turned into a huge one, he picked Jenna up and spun her around in a hug.

He put her down and kissed her. Not a small kiss. A long, passionate kiss.

They stopped when Jenna's Mom started to yell over for her.

"Jenna! Come on! We have to go or we will miss the flight." She yelled over to her.

"Go home Mom, I'm not leaving. I'm staying here with the people I love the most in the world."
Jenna said as she took Jack's hand and started to walk out of the airport.

The group of friends all had huge smiles on their faces and ran after Jack and Jenna. Jenna's Mom just stood were she was, thinking about what just happened.

After a few minutes of understanding what happened. She got on the flight, and went back home.
