Sacrifice

Jacks POV

Whats gotten into Alex?
He was stood by the curtain and looked like he was holding something by the throat.
He let it go and looked at his hand.
He looked at us.
"Blood." Was all he said.
I looked at Hannah and Oli who looked shocked and confused,
"What type?" Hannah asked.
"How the fuck am I meant to know." Alex said shrugging his shoulders.
Alex then ran over to the table.
"Fuck sake." He muttered to himself looking for something.
"Alex what's wrong?" I asked hoping he would tell me since I can't get inside his head.
"They on too us." He said and looked at us.
"What do you mean?" Oli said sounding confused.
" Demons. Their on to us. We're not safe anymore. Creatures are not safe anymore." Alex said.
"We can't trust no one anymore. Anyone could be working with Demons and of that's the case we're all fucked." He muttered.
He snapped his head up and looked at us.
"Call your friends get them over here. We need a plan we need to stop the Demons and the only way we can do this is if all the creatures you know work together and kill them." Alex said.
"I don't know Alex. They're very peaceful creatures. They don't want to fight. They just want to live in peace." Hannah said.
It was true Hannah and Olis friends are peaceful they don't want war or any violence but just to live in peace among humans.
"Do they want to die out because of Demons? No they wouldn't so you need to call them." Alex said he sounded really stressed.
Hannah looked at me.
"Okay. But don't be surprised if they don't show up." She said and went to phone them up.

I went up to Alex.
"What's going on Alex?" I asked.
"Jack we're in danger. Every creature and their bond mate creature or human are in danger and its all my fault." Alex said and looked at me.
"What do you mean?" I asked confused.
" I can't help and think if we didn't bond that none of this would be happening." Alex said sadly looking down at his feet.
I put two fingers under his chin and made him look at me.
"Whether we bonded or not we would still be in danger." I said softly and kissed his softly which Alex returned.
"I'm just as much to blame for this as what you are. After all I bonded to you first and then brought you back from the dead." I said quietly.
"I will never be more thankful to you for what you have done. I found the person I want to spend the rest off my life with and I will protect it at all cost." Alex said looking up at me.
I couldn't help but feel really happy about this and Alex felt it through the bond.

Hannah came back into the room.
"I managed to get most off them to come. But what we going to do? None off them have been in the same room as a human or if they have its no more that 2 minutes. Alex how are you going to get them to listen to you? How are you going to make them understand that we're all in danger..." Hannah was rambling and panicking.
Alex went over to her and sat her on the sofa.
"I need you to work out what blood this is." Alex said giving Hannah his hand.
She looked at it and studied it.
"This isn't good." She said looking at Alex.
"What is it Hannah?" He said.
"Okay so there is some creatures which are rare or shy that no one knows about them and they are impossible to find. If anyone finds them and kills them it means their leaving a very strong and bad message that they are after us and will destroy is no matter what." Hannah said looking at me.
I read her mind.
"A Pegasus?" I asked.
I thought they were all dead.
"Yes." Hannah said.
"What does this mean?" Alex said confused.
"It means that if a Pegasus isn't safe than no one is. Pegasus's are the most secretive creature you can get considering their like unicorns part from they have wings. It means that if they can find the Pegasus it means they can find the rest off us." I said.

Oli was sat on the stairs taking everything in.
"So because of you Jack we're all fucked?" He said looking hard at me.
"No. They have been after us for a long time. You should know this Oliver." I said looking hard back at him.
"So you freak of a mate just happened to see ghosts who told him that we're all in danger. I smell a load off bull shit!" Oli said walking over to me.
Alex stood in front off me and pushed Oli back along with a price of paper.
"Read it." He growled.
Oli looked down at the piece off paper.
"Considering ghosts can see into both worlds without people seeing them I think that its a good fucking reason to fucking think Demons are fucking after us." Alex snapped.
"And considering only a handful of people can see fucking ghosts and pass on the fucking message to Creatures I think this is fucking real." He snapped again and walked out the room.

Oli just stood there in shock and I was as well.
Alex never snapped at people unless something was really up and no one was helping matters.
"You think he's telling the truth?" Oli asked looking at me.
Our argument forgotten about.
"Yes. Let me see the paper." I said reaching out to take it.
I looked at it and recognized the writing.
"Yes. He's telling the truth. This is Lily's writing and yes she is a ghost she doesn't speak to Alex but writes stuff down and give to him." I explained briefly to Oli.
"Shit." Oli muttered.
"We have guest." I said nodding towards the door.
Hannah got up and answered the door.
"Thankyou for coming." Hannah said.
"We need to know what's happening Hannah." A woman said.
"Oli, Jack." She said and nodded her head towards us.
She stopped as soon as she walked in.
"There's a human?" She said sounding confused.
"Alex and yes he's my mate." I said before leaving everyone.

I went out into the kitchen and saw Alex was sat on the floor.
"What the fuck are we going to do?" He whispered as I sat next to him.
"You're going to tell them about everything what you saw while we where in England and then you tell them about the note Lily left you. You also tell them you're shadow-kiss. They will believe you a little bit more than what they would do." I said looking at Alex.
Alex looked at me then rested his head on my shoulder.
"This is going to end up being really messy isn't it." Alex sighed.
"Maybe." Was all I could say before someone came into the kitchen.
"Oh. I'm sorry I didn't know anyone was out here." A young Creature said.
"Your the human everyone can smell and talking about?" She said looking at Alex whom still had his head resting against my shoulder.
"Yeah. I'm Alex." He smiled and offered the young Creature his hand.
"I'm Annie." She smiled and shook his hand.
"Nice too meet you Annie." He smiled.
"Annie where are you!?" An much older Creature said loudly.
"In here. Coming dad." She smiled and ran off.
"She's cute." Alex said cuddling deeper into my side.
"Yeah she is." I said agreeing about how cute Annie is.

We sat in silence a little bit longer until I said that everyone was here.
"Guess its time to face a house full of creatures." Alex chuckled.
"Yep. But you'll do good. You always do." I said getting up offering Alex my hand.
Alex took it and I helped him up.
"You can do it." I whispered and kissed him softly which he retruned.
Then we both walked into the room.
I felt Alex hide behind me as the room was full off Creatures.
"You can do it." I whispered in his ear and pushed him forward.
I couldn't help chuckle at the fact that he was now on his own with a pack of Creatures.
This could end in two ways.
They listen to him.
Or
They kill him.
