Sacrifice

Jacks POV

Oli came into the room.
"Well looks like we have to buy new plates." He grumbled.
Alex pulled his head away from my chest.
"I'm sorry. I'll buy you new ones." He said his voice thick with sadness.
"No you don't mate. Just don't brake nothing else." Oli smiled sadly.
"Yeah I do I broke them I have to replace them." Alex argued back weakly.
Oli just looked at him ready to argue back but looked at me and stopped himself.

Alex pulled away and went outside and sat on the tree trunk.
"Jack?" I heard Hannah say as she walked into the room.
"Yeah." I said and went to the window and watched Alex.
"How's Alex holding up?" She said and walked over and joined me.
"Not good." I replied and looked at her.
Hannah looked at me and then back at Alex.
"Why don't you heal him?" Hannah asked.
"Cause its emotional pain. I can't heal that. Alex has to heal himself." I said I knew Alex was listening in.
"How's he gonna do that?" Hannah said thinking out loud.
"I don't know. We just need to love and care for him for a bit." I suggested.

Before long it was getting dark and Alex hadn't moved from the tree trunk.
I knew it was cold outside and Alex was just in a T-shirt I could see that he was cold.
I went outside and walked up too him.
"Its cold out here, come inside where its warm." I said as I got to him.
Alex looked at me and just nodded but didn't move.
"Want a hand." I said offering my hand.
Alex looked at it for a second and I helped him up.
"Jesus Alex your freezing." I said I bent down and picked Alex up bridal style and carried him indoors.
I took him into the sitting room and put him on the sofa.
Alex sat up put his feet up on the sofa and rested his head on his knees.
I got a blanket and put it over him.
Alex looked up and smiled.
"I going to run you a bath." I said a lent down and kissed his softly.
Alex kissed back his lips softer than normal.
"I'll be back in a minute." I whispered and got up and walked upstairs.

Hannah and Oli bedroom door was open.
They where talking about something.
"I don't see how it could off happened." Hannah said lieing on the bed.
"What?" Oli said confused.
" Have you not listened to what I just said." Hannah said sitting up.
"How can I when your only wearing that." Oli said.
Time for me to leave them.
I went into the bathroom and ran the bath and went downstairs to get Alex.

Alex was zoned out completely.
"Alex?" I said as I walked into his eye line.
"Yeah." He croaked.
"Come on your bath ready." I said and bent down and picked him up.
By the time I got back upstairs Hannah and Oli door was shut.
I didnt want to think what they where doing.
I took Alex too the bathroom and sat him on the toilet and checked that the temperature was alright which it was and turned the water off.
I went over to Alex.
"You need a hand?" I asked kneeling in front off him.
Alex looked at me and nodded.
I got up and helped Alex undress and get in the bath.
"Join me?" Alex said looking at me sadly.
"Course I will." I said and got undressed.
"Move forward." I said softly.
Alex moved and I got in behind him.
Alex sat back resting his head on my chest.
"What's going on inside your head Alex?" I asked quietly playing with his hands.
"Nothing. Its just blank." Alex whispered.
"If I could heal you I would. But I can't." I said sadly.
Alex turned round and faced me.
"I know you would. I heard your conversation with Hannah." Alex said kissing my chest.
"Knew you where listening." I chuckled.
Alex chuckled softly.
"Where am I going to go when I need to escape what happening?" Alex said looking at me with a little bit off happiness in them. It wasn't much but it made me a little bit happier.
"I don't know. Sitting on your tree trunk." I said with a small smile.
Alex gave me a small smile in return.
Alex sat back.
"You want to get out?" Alex asked with a yawn.
I nodded and got out and wrapped a towel round me.
I went over to Alex and helped him out and put a towel round him.
"Here put these on." I said and gave Alex a pair of pants.
"Thanks." Alex smiled and put them on.
I did the same.
I went over to Alex.
"You want me to carry you downstairs?" I asked.
Alex nodded.
I bent down and picked him up and went downstairs.
By the time I got downstairs Alex was asleep.
I put Alex on the sofa and covered him up with the blanket.
I went to go and get a drink for Alex but I felt his hand wrap round my arm.
"Stay with me." Alex said but his eyes where pleading.
"Course I will." I said and sat on the sofa.
Alex sat up and lead down resting his head on my lap.
I knew Alex was in for a rough night.
