Sacrifice

Alex's POV

I must of fell asleep because I woke up with a load of shouting happening out in the kitchen.
" GET OUT MY HOUSE!" I heard Jack shout at the person who was not welcomed in our house.
I felt frustration and anger go through the bond.
"I'm coming, I'm coming." I muttered to myself and rolled off the sofa.

I got out into the kitchen and found Jeremy sitting at the table.
Jack was standing by the counter looking like he was ready to kill him.
"Why are you in my house? Why was I woken up by shouting?" I said getting myself a drink.
Neither of them answered. I turned round and looked at them both.
"Seriously, you want me to play mind games at 6 in the morning. If so its not gonna happen." I said.
They still didn't answer.
"Fuck sake guys! What the bloody hell where you shouting at which fucking woke me up! I don't do being woke up for no fucking reason!" I said started getting annoyed that no one was answering.

I felt Jack send something through the bond
'Drop it Alex.' It said.
I turned and faced Jack.
"Drop what Jack?" I said.
Jeremy got up from the table and went to leave.
"DONT YOU FUCKING MOVE!" I shouted and turned to him.
"For a human you act like a creature." Jeremy muttered under his breath.
"Shut it! Your in MY house and you are staying until one of you fucktards tell me what you two where shouting about!" I growled.

They both looked at each other.
"I can't read your mind Jeremy but I can read yours Jack so I know if your bullshitting me!" As they looked at each other.
"I have all day guys, I know you need to hunt Jack, you too Jeremy so if you get this over and done with you can go and hunt." I said.
Hoping this might work.
Jeremy was thinking about.
"Say it Jack." I said not looking at Jack but staring at Jeremy .

I knew Jack was looking at Jeremy.
" Jesus Christ guys spill the beans!! I don't speak to any humans or creatures why cant you trust me." I said feeling a bit hurt that Jack didn't trust me.
"You wanna know Alex?" Jeremy spoke.
"Duh! Yeah!" I said sarcastically.
" You tell him Jack, I have to hunt before all this shit happens." Jeremy said and got up and went to slap Jacks cheek.
I stopped him.
"Don't touch him!" I growled and stared him out.
"Fine, you tell him Jack after all he's the one they want!" With that he turned and left the house.

"What's going on Jack?" I questioned walking off to the sitting room.
"Nothing." he said as followed me.
"BULL FUCKING SHIT JACK!" I shouted getting up and standing right in front off him.
"Tell me what's going on Jack." I said hurt in my voice.
Jack sent something through the bond.
"I don't want to look through your head Jack. I NEED you to tell me. What's going on?" I said walking away from him.
"We in danger Alex. Demons knows about us. They know we are bonded, not just as your my mate but your a Shadow-Kiss." Jack said looking away from me.
"What does that mean Jack? I'm confused."
"It means that we are not safe anymore, we need to watch each others back more than now. You need to know how to defend us and yourself Alex. The Demons will not stop at anything to get either you or me." Jack explained.
He moved towards me.
"We need to get out of here for a while. We have to leave either the state or the country."
"So what your saying is we're pretty much fucked unless we go somewhere for a while." I said confused still.
"Yep, pretty much." He said looking down.
"Fucking hell Jack." I muttered.
"You said you wanted to see your parents, why don't we do that?" Jack said.
"Umm I would do Jack but I have no bloody money!" I said snapping a little.
"Just a idea considering we're dead meat at the moment." Jack snapped back.

We stayed in silence most of the day.
"I'm sorry I snapped Jack." In said as I was making some food for myself since Jack wasn't hungry.
"Its fine Alex." Jack said feet up on the table.
"No its not, I over reacted about it. Didn't help cause your and Jeremy woke me up. Why was Jeremy here Jack? He hates me after the other day." I said leaning against the cooker.
" He came to warn us. He knows people who knows Demons. So he came and told me about it. Then he started saying shit about you and that's when I shouted and woke you up." He said looking at his hands.
I just nodded and went back to the food I was cooking.

I was eating my food when Jack next spoke.
There was a lot a of silence today.
"Alex..." He looking at me confused.
I didn't hear what he said as I was lost in thought about what Jack said about seeing my parents.
" Did you just hear what I just say Alex?" He said looking at me,
"Being honest nope, I was lost in thought. What did you say?" I said looking at my feet .
"I'll help you so you can go and see your parents." Jack said with hope in his voice.
"Seriously!" I said with a huge smile on my face.
"Course I am! Why wouldn't I be?" Jack chuckled.
"I don't know." I said shugging my shoulders.
" Only if you come to Jack."
"Why wouldn't I Alex? I would love to meet your parents."Jack smiled.
" When we going Jack?" I asked hoping it was soon.
"We leave in a few days." Jack smiled.
I jumped up and hugged Jack tight
"Thank you Jack." I whispered and kissed his cheek.
