Jacks POV

"Alex can I tell you about Spirit?" I asked as we sat down and watched some shit on TV.
"Sure! I want to know more about this 'gift'." Alex said looking happy that we where going to talk about this.
"You sure?" I could help but make sure.
"Why wouldn't I? I need to know the person I'm falling for." Alex said with a smile.
I could help but smile wide at this.

"Okay so as you know people who are Spirit are odd. Other creatures look at us as if we're crazy because we go off on 'funny moments' and that we can do stuff which they can't do. Like healing, dream walking, magic, reading auras all that sort of stuff Spirit users can do but not the others. In fact Spirit users can do what element users can do. So we are powerful compared to the others. Which is why most Spirit users have more respect than the others because we can over rule them. But unlike the others Spirit users can be driven insane because of it. Which is why there's not many of us left because most can't deal with it and turn into demons. Spirit Users are clever people we can use are gift to help others we are kind hearted creatures compared to someone who has Fire element like Oli. Also unlike the others all Spirit users can compell people which is really cool but there that one where we can over step the mark and make people see things and actually use it to torture people. Yes I have tortured people using this and its horrible especially trying to get yourself back from the dark side of Spirit. You can say Spirit Users a built stronger than the others. Most Spirit users self medicate on alcohol as it stuns the Spirit in a way. Its one way of keeping the Spirit under control."
I looked up to see Alex looking at me with shock on his face.

"What about me? Have you known any Spirit users do what you did to me and turned them into Shadow-Kiss?" He asked looking like he was really enjoying this. Judging by his aura he was.
"There was one a really long time ago like 2000 years ago. The Spirit user bond with his mate which was also human. She was dieing from something and he couldn't live without her so he healed her and made her a Shadow-Kiss. They lived for a long time it wasn't until she went insane because she took the Spirit away from him and over time it got to her and she killed herself. He couldn't life without so her too killed himself. That's all I know about them." I explained.

" So what your saying is that I if I keep on taking Spirit away from you I'll go insane?" Alex said looking confused.
" This is myth throughout my time, everyone speaks about it, no one knows if its true or not." Hoping this explains a little, but looming at Alex's face I don't think it did.
"Spirit users have this thing called a catalyst its normally steady like their moods, calm happy that sort of stuff. But when the Spirit pushes them the catalyst is all over the place and Spirit users can cause all sort of damage to themselves and to others around them. I expect its the same for you as you can have my share of Spirit so you'll have your own catalyst and it'll be knocked of balance because of the Spirit." I explained hoping maybe Alex would get it.

" I'm still confused, but I get it better than before. You Spirit users are confusing creatures." Alex chuckled.
"I can say the same about humans." I said back.
"We're not that confusing, at least we don't have to worry about having something which might make us insane." Alex continued to chuckle.
"That's true. But your still confusing." I shook my head.

"I just hope nothing like that happens." I muttered to myself.
Alex heard me as the next thing I knew Alex was sat in front of me looking deep into my eyes.
"It won't happen, I won't let anything happen Jack. I wouldn't let it happen to someone I care about. I've already lost one person I cared about, I'm not going to lose another." He said, I could hear he meant every word of what he said.

Then Alex leaned in and kissed me softly on the lips.
Which I happily returned.
"Guess that means I've bonded to you Jack." Alex smiled really happy.
" Guess it does." I smiled back.
