Anything But Ordinary

"Come on, Claire! We're gonna be late!" Jack yelled to me from the living room. We were heading over to Rian's tonight to hang out with the guys. I was excited to see Alex as well.

"I'm coming!" I yelled, and I walked out to the living room, following Jack out to the car.

We were the last to arrive, so when we got there, we were greeted by several people.

"I thought it was just you, me, Alex, Rian and Zack?" I asked, meeting some of the familiar faces that supported me at the trial. Jack shrugged.

"I did too... but whatever," Jack said as we walked through the dining room into the living room. There were ten of us in total, me, Jack, Alex, Rian, Zack, Vic, Kellin, Tony, Jaime and Mike. I was surprised I remembered their names.

"Hi guys," I said shyly, spotting Alex over on the couch just as Cassadee walked into the living room from the hallway. So there were eleven of us. I made my way over to Alex, but Kellin stepped in front of me.

"Hi," I said with a smile. He grinned.

"Hi. How have you been holding up?" He asked. I sighed and shrugged.

"I guess I've been doing okay," I said. Kellin smiled.

"Well, can I get you a drink?" He asked. I raised my eyebrows.

"No thanks.." I said.

"Oh.. are you going to not drink anymore after what happened?" He asked. I grimaced.

"Not entirely the reason," I said. He nodded and left it alone, walking over to Vic. I continued my journey over to Alex, and I smiled when he looked at me.

"Oh hey," he said, standing up, "how are you?"

"I'm good. You?" I asked. He smiled, pulling me into his arms for a hug.

"I'm great now that you're here," he said, making me blush.

"Claire!" Cassadee called my name, and I looked over at her, smiling.

"Hey! It's good to see you again," I said with a polite smile.

"You too! I heard about what happened! I can't believe he'd do such a thing!" She exclaimed. My smile faltered, and I looked down at me feet as my eyes filled with tears. I pushed passed Alex, muttering an 'excuse me' as I did so. He only followed me down the hallway and into the bathroom.

"Claire," he muttered in an attempt to get me to look at him as he closed the bathroom door behind him. I spun around, grabbing him by the shirt, pulling him against me as I let myself cry.

"I don't want to keep this baby!" I cried loudly into Alex's chest. He wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close.

"Remember what I told you yesterday? How I said I'd help you? Remember that?" Alex asked. I looked up at him and sniffed.

"But you can't help if you're not there all the time," I said.

"Fuck it. Then come live with me," he said. I wiped under my eyes, and I looked up at him.

"Really? You'd do that for me?" I asked. He nodded.

"Of course. I don't mind anyway." I smiled, throwing my arms around his neck. Why was he so amazing?
