*Tuesday*

I close the laptop and look around my room. Oh Fuck. I run into my moms room and grab one of the big suitcases from under her bed. I quickly start shoving clothes into it, not being entirely organized. Just wanting to fit as much as possible. I grab my phone and dial.
“Hello?” I hear her voice. Thank fucking god, probably my best friend answers.
“Oh my god Monica!” I breathe into my phone.
“Hey babe what’s up?” She sounds so casual.
“They called.”
“THEM?” whoa there goes the calm. “Wait. You’re talking about them as in Jack, Alex, Matt, all time low them?” I nod before realizing she can’t tell I am.
“Yeah. I’m leaving with them. Today. Just let everyone know I’m going on tour as a guitar tech and that Kellen can suck my balls.” She laughs without humor
“Please, stop pretending everyone knows you still like him. I read your diary. ‘Who knew Jews could be that attractive?’” I groan and close my eyes.
“Not the Jew I was talking about. I got to go. Love you bitch.” I speak quickly wanting to get off the phone.
“Keep in touch, go suck some dicks slut!” My friend’s right? I start carrying my things down to the front hall, My bag of clothes, toiletry bad that includes enough tampons to last a lifetime, Makeup, my jewelry things, Guitars. I shouldn’t be needing to bring my shitty little amp. I look at my small pile, to guitars a big suitcase, a small bathroom bag and a backpack that has my laptop, camera, and chargers.
I look around my house for anything I might need. I end up in my room pulling some of my favorite pictures off of my mirror when I look at the little box a friend gave me as a joke for turning eighteen. It sits in the middle of my desk glaring at me. Begging me to take it with. But what if somebody finds them? They might think of me as a slut. I mean you can talk it, but having a box of fifty damn condoms says something about you. Especially when it’s a sampler of different types and sizes. I groan and grab it running down the stairs with it. I tear open my suitcase and tuck it into the corner.
I sit on the steps nervously waiting. I’m probably way too early, maybe they’ll want to come in. I could make them something to eat I mean, they are men. Men eat. A lot. It feels like I’ve been sitting on the steps for days when my phone vibrates. I open it hoping its Jack. I groan when I see the ID. Great.

KELLEN: Hey, I heard you were touring! That’s so cool!

ME: What do you want?

KELLEN: Calm down haha. I really just wanted to tell you that I’m sorry for everything that’s been going on between us. I still value our friendship.

I sit reading the text over and over again. What? He values our friendship. I don’t know how clearly he’s made it that he wants nothing to do with me. I couldn’t sit with them at lunch because he would just get all quiet and awkward.

ME: Is that so?

KELLEN: I’ve missed you these past few weeks. L

ME: Why now?

I rack my brain for why this is happening now. I don’ want to be part of his life. I kind of was hoping that leaving state would get me away from all these idiots.

KELLEN: What? Is tomorrow better?

ME: Please, just tell me what you want so I can get on with life.

KELLEN: I don’t know, I’ll text you later beautiful.

I sit staring at my phone. What the hell is going on today? I get up and walk into the kitchen, I plug my ipod in playing whatever comes on. I start making myself a PB&J when I hear a pounding on my door and what sounds like an explosion. I hardly have a second to react when I feel a large mass slam into the left side of my body.
“HOLY MOTHER OF GOD JACK!” I scream and laugh. Jacks arms wrap around me pinning my arms to my sides leaving me immobile.
