Fuck... What do I mean? I sit quietly racking my brain for the right words. I want to try this out with her. I want to see if it works. She stares at me hopefully her blue eyes locked on mine. I stare back into them, she's old for her age if that makes sense. She's seen more then I did at that age.
"I...." My lips stutter for words. What could I say? She carefully reaches forward and touches my cheek, I naturally lean my head into it.
"I understand." She smiles and leans forward to peck my cheek. Her lips linger for a moment, her breath runs down my neck. I turn my head to look at her, she stays in the same position so her face is only inches, if that far, from mine.
"Okay." I blush and look down at her lips, really smooth Matt. He hand slowly slides down my cheek to the back of my neck, her fingers run down my spine giving me chills. I carefully inch my lips closer to hers and let one of my hands reach over to hold her hip, she meets me half way and I have the moment. The moment when it feels like time slows down around you and your heart stops. I start to pull away from her not wanting to pus h her too far, but her hand on my neck keeps me from moving away and I honestly don't mind. Her soft lips move so easily with mine, her hands slide down to my chest and she gently pushes me back to lay on the couch.
I let her hesitantly, call me traditional or old fashioned. But I generally don't make out this quickly, at least sober. I grab her other hip and pull her down closer to me, our entire torsos pressed against each other. Abruptly she pulls back and her eyes snap over to the tv after a gunshot where the walking dead is playing.
"Holy shit." She curses under her breath.
"Holy shit." I agree and smile up at her. She slowly looks back down at me and blushes,
"Was that too much?" She looks down and laughs nervously. I smile to myself and reach up to Rick some of her hair behind her ear,
"Was it?" I chuckle, she smiles and lays her head down in the nape of my neck watching the show. All that goes through my head is what the fuck just happened? I try to relive the experience in my head but disbelief fills my thoughts. I mean all the proof is right here. I know it happened. But how?want to play never did I ever? Never did I ever believe I'd be in this position right now.
I guess I never trusted Jack and Alex's match making abilities. Who could blame me? Plus she's into zombies. Dude! Hanna flinches pulling at my shirt slightly, we lay in the same position as last night, only she's higher up on me. I stay quiet, letting her enjoy the episode.
"Hanna?" I ask her as the closing credits come up,
"Hmmm?" She looks up at me and raises an eyebrow,
"Are you..." I blush feeling awkward for asking the question, "going to be spending the night?" She shrugs brushing the question off.
"I guess." She smiles up at me, "I can sleep on the couch if you want me to." I laugh abit,
"I'll sleep on the couch unless you don't mind sharing a bed?" A small smile spreads across her face,
"I don't mind."
