I was helping Alex get his gloves on when Nyssa hugged me from behind. When Alex’s last glove was on he went around and pounded everyone as a part of his pre-show ritual while he warmed up his voice. I turned around in Nyssa’s embrace and hugged her back. When she let go she had the biggest smile I had ever seen on her.
“Bonnie you are so amazing. Thank you,” she beamed and hugged me again.
“Please tell me what happened,” I want to know why I was amazing.
“Jack kissed me and I think we’re official,” she gushed.
“Thank god he got the balls to tell you. I was going to kill him if he didn’t,” I told her.
“Thank you for pushing him to finally act, Bonnie. I’m just so happy now,” she was beaming constantly. I was happy for her. With the talk I had with Alex, I was almost pushed into another attack and it would have ruined all of this happiness Nyssa got.
“You look like you just finished crying, Bonnie. Is everything alright,” Nyssa asked as she noticed my bloodshot eyes.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Alex and I had a talk about my family and I let out my raw emotions on the matter. I’ll be fine,” I told her.
“You better. I’d hate for you to have another attack so soon,” she wagged her finger at me and I slapped it down.
“You are too much sometimes Nyssa. I love that about you,” I told her as I hugged her warmly.

I finished my lap of pounding everyone and I saved Jack for last. I wanted to see how things went with him and Nyssa.
“So how did your talk with Nyssa go,” I wiggled my eyebrows at him.
“I kissed her for real and I guess we’re official. I’m so happy right now man. You have no idea,” he was beaming with joy I swear he might poop a rainbow.
“I’m happy for you. Now we can take the girls on a double date sometime soon,” I told him.
“Yeah and then we’ll be stuck hearing you and Bonnie rock the bunk,” Jack joked.
“We’ll wait for when we get to stay in a hotel for a night before any action happens,” I told him.
“Good because Nyssa has innocent ears and I want maintain that until I get her to moan my name,” Jack did a couple hip thrusts with a concentrated face on. The kid was a total dork it was funny.
“Hey there good looking,” Bonnie greeted me when I came over to where I had to walk to get on stage.
“Hey babe,” I wrapped my arms around her and planted a soft kiss on her lovely lips.
“You excited to play,” she asked.
“You excited to actually be an ATM,” I replied.
“Watch it, I might get Jeff and Evan to embarrass you,” she smirked wickedly.
“You can’t out plot me, sweetheart. I’m the master at pranks,” I told her.
“I’d pay to see it,” she grinned and got on her tip toes to plant a kiss on my skully tattoo behind my ear.
“Two minutes,” Flyzik paged into everyone’s monitors.
“This is it, Charlotte’s getting rocked tonight,” I grinned and started bouncing on my toes and rolling my shoulders to loosen up some more.

Once the boys got on stage, Danny handed me the pic buckets for Alex and Jack’s mic stands. My job was going to be fairly simple. I just run out there with a hand full of one of the guy’s pics and load the stand holders.
I noticed Alex was running low since most of his pics were thrown out to the crowd at intervals during the show. I think he was trying to get me to come out to the stage. I was going to kill him later if he embarrasses me.
I grab a handful of pics and I run out during the Segway between songs. I get to his mic stand while he’s getting a drink and I start loading the damn thing as fast I could, dropping a couple pics while I’m at it. When I’m just about done, Alex gets on the mic.
“Guys give it up for Bonnie,” he gestures to me and I stand up and wave to the crowd. They cheer as load as they can and I can hear them through my monitors. I go to run off stage, but Alex grabs me and plants a kiss on me in full view of the fans. They roar with cheers and I blush a deep red.
“Thank you Bonnie, you saved my skin. I would have had to borrow some of Jack’s if you didn’t pop up,” Alex smiled into the mic as I walked off stage.
“You are so dead when you get off stage,” I called to him on my radio.

When the show was finally over, Alex came up to me and I punched him on the shoulder. He rubbed his shoulder, wearing a fake hurt expression since I’m not that strong. He took hold of me and held me against the wall for a moment and kissed me.
“Please don’t be mad at me. I couldn’t resist the timing was excellent. The crowd loved you,” he rushed to get out so I couldn’t snap at him for pulling his little stunt.
“You’re lucky I love you. I’d have skinned you right on that stage,” I squinted my eyes at him, putting on a fake angry face.
“You don’t have the heart to hate me,” he smirked before kissing me again.
“Let’s go get some post show drinks and get you showered,” I smiled and he led the way to the after party dressing room so we could enjoy some well-deserved drinks.
I found Nyssa was already there in Jack’s lap with a pop can in hand. Alex went and made me a mountain jack and grabbed himself a PBR. When he brought back our drinks, he sat down next to Jack and I sat on his lap.
“A toast to best friends getting the guys,” I raised my glass.
“To best friends getting the Florida girls,” Alex added in before we all clinked our drinks together.
Only one does left. Then all this bliss was going to come crashing down. I hope Jack can keep Nyssa happy and Alex can keep me together. If not, everything will come burning down and nothing will be the same again. Maybe I’m just a pessimist when it comes to my problems.
