Something's Gotta Give

As quickly as it came up, vacation was over. Tyler and I spent most it just going to the beach or skateboarding through town. He was on his normal board, pulling off tricks while I rode my longboard I kept at his house here to ride along with him. Even though I was only coasting on my board, it was still fun.

I was at my bunk, setting up my "office" and checking that I had all my equipment for my camera, while Tyler was working on getting our luggage settle into the bus. Being in Boston now, meant it won't be long until I run into Gaskarth.

"Do you have everything, Aideen," Tyler asked as I stood motionlessly, staring at my things scattered over my bunk.

"Oh yeah I do," I blinked a couple times before looking at him, "I was just remembering my first camera."

"The one you told me about that Alex bought you for your 16th birthday present," Tyler wrapped his arms around my shoulders to comfort me, "I know how hard it is when you realize he forgot about you, when you were there for him when he first moved into your neighborhood."

"I would love to hear from him," I sighed, "I want to hear what his grand excuse is to never get in touch with me after all these years."

"Aideen," Tyler sighed as he pushed my hair over one shoulder, "Don't let Gaskarth ruin this tour for us. Look at it as a chance to reconnect with him and to introduce me to him as your boyfriend."

"Okay I guess I could do that," I sighed as I grabbed onto his arms and leaned into his embrace, "Just promise me to keep me out of trouble. The instant he does something rude or mean to me, I'm going to give him hell."

"I promise," Tyler murmured against my neck, "Now let's christen my bunk before the guys come back from the store."

I chuckled and turned in his arms before kissing him. With Tyler around, I think I'll make it through this tour.
