That’s all that’s been playing in my head ever since Jack asked me out. I’ve been insanely happy ever since. I had really missed Jack; being away from him so long and trying to cut him out of my life was killing me. All I wanted was for things to be okay again, but I never suspected he’d ever try to fix anything.
I’m glad he proved me wrong.
I woke up with a smile on my face and texted Rian.

Me: Guess who had the best night ever?

It didn’t take long for him to respond, which only made me happier.

Rian: Well mine was pretty average so I’m gonna go with you. What happened?

Me: I have a boooyfriend :)))))

Rian: Really?? Who? I wanna meet him!

I giggled at that, as I texted back.

Me: Weeelll.. It’s actually Jack.

Rian: ….are you kidding?

Me: He’s changed Ri. He was just scared, just like you said before.

Rian: Are you really sure you can trust this guy?

Me: I know for sure this time. I really do.

Rian: Well good. I’m gonna trust your judgment. Congratulations princess.

Me: What did I tell you about calling me princess??

Rian: XD oops. Anyways I have some good news too. Cass and I are coming down Sunday and staying for a week if that’s cool with you :)

Me: REALLY?? OMG YEEESSSSS!!

I could not get any happier today!!

Rian: YEAH!!! :D

Me: Oh my gosh Jack’s birthday is next week too! You guys could meet him and we could celebrate together!!

Rian: Sounds fun dude. I’ll tell Cass (:

I smiled at the thought of being with my best friend for a week. I couldn’t wait.
But in the meantime, what am I getting Jack for his birthday?

I occupied myself with the thought until he got off from work.
