We had just finished playing our concert in New York, and as per usual for our NYC concerts, We Are The In Crowd was there, I swear to God, every time I see her, a little part of me dies.
Of course I’m reffering to Taylor, who else would I be talking about?
I have had a massive crush on her since the 2011 warped tour, where I first met her.
Of course, Alex had to go and date her, and then break up with her a week after the tour, to go back to his real girlfriend Lisa, this bothered me more than it should have, mainly due to the fact that it wasn’t the first time he did this.
As we stepped off of the stage, and went back into our room, we saw the kid who we were supposed to be talking to, we didn’t even have a real reason, we just thought that he seemed kinda cool, so we got him to wait for us and have him talk with us.
His name was Kellin, and let me tell you, Kellin was about to change my life forever.
We spent some time talking about Alex’s love life, and when Alex left, Kellin approached me.
“Look, there’s a reason I talked to Alex, it’s because of the fact that I can easily see that you love Tay, and I think that you two would be adorable together, but you don’t want to give it a shot because you’re in a band with Alex, am I right?”
I couldn’t believe it, this kid read my mind, well, I shouldn’t really call him a kid, he was 26 after all.
“Yeah, I mean, look, as creepy as I think it is that you know that, you’re absolutely right, and it annoys me, because I just really want to give it a shot, and if I had to, I would leave All Time Low for her.”
“So, you’re willing to leave the band for her, that’s some pretty heavy love right there, but, even if you did leave the band, what would you do then?”
Kellin was somehow reading my mind and understanding all my problems.
“That’s what I’ve been thinking about the whole time, there’s nothing that I can do that’ll leave me a possibility to get in touch with her again, and besides, everyone would probably hate me for leaving the band.”
“Well, you could always say that you wanted to start your own band, and needed some personal space.”

I didn’t know how, but the kid somehow managed to think of something genius in no time, I probably never would’ve though of something like that, I felt really stupid.

“But, even if I started a band with you, we’d still need some other people to help us.”
“Don’t worry about that, I know some people who would jump at the chance to be in a band, all we would need is for you to leave All Time Low”
“And look, I don’t mean to force you, but I’m just saying, there’s not a lot to be done with them, is there? You just go around touring, and jumping around… thinking about Taylor all the time, in my opinion, it really doesn’t seem like too much fun.”
Kellin had a point, there wasn’t much to be done, sure, we had our fun outside of the tours, but, if I could be with Tay instead, what was the point of it?

“Alright, let me think about it, be sure to stay in NYC, so that if I say yes, I don’t need to spend a lot of time looking for you, okay?”
Kellin agreed to it, I gave him my number and went back to the rest of the band, the moment I saw Tay step back into her tour bus I knew this was going to be a long tour.
