Oh Calamity!

The next day I spent time with Laura we were in a few classes together and seemed to get on well,
“Hey you want to hang out after school?” she asked
“oh I don’t know, I will have to talk to Alex, and then Jack will be there to make fun of me, Alex will ask a million questions I will never get out” I laughed,
“Don’t go home, stay for a while, and say you had to stay at school”
“They won’t buy it, I will sneak in, Jack will see me he might let me sneak out, I will text you if I work it out ok?”
“Ok cool” she smiled, after school we walked home, I snuck into the house as quiet as possible and Jack slipped out of the room, he raised his eyebrow
“Why you trying to sneak in?” he asked not looking happy, I sighed
“I want to go out but I don’t want the 3rd degree from Alex” I admitted
“And you thought you would get away with that, what happens when he wonders where you are comes in and sees your school stuff?” he laughed, I shushed him making him laugh “where are you going?” he asked
“I… don’t want to say, just let me go”
“No tell me”
“No” I said crossing my arms, he might trust me, maybe
“Then I will tell Alex” he laughed at my surprised face, that didn’t work,
“Jack” I whined making him laugh even more
“Tell me, if I agree Alex will be annoying I will let you go”
“Go where” Alex said walking out “you 2 aren’t as quiet as you think you are, we weren’t even playing” he laughed, I looked down, “go where” he repeated when I didn’t answer
“Nowhere” I lied looking down
“Jack?”
“Didn’t give me enough time to find out” he smiled,
“You said you were going to let her go” he said annoyed, ok sneaking was never going to be a good idea, he would have killed me
“Only if it was harmless and you would over react, if I thought she was wrong I would have made her tell you” he explained “either way I would have made sure you knew”
“Ugh” I said and tried to go to my room
“No, you tell me why you were sneaking off” he said arms crossed, I didn’t answer “now!”
“Nowhere!” I insisted I was going nowhere now,
“Ashleigh” he warned,
“I don’t want to say” I said quietly, he was too mad to admit it now,
“Why?” Alex asked sounding half sympathetic and half annoyed
“It’s embarrassing!” I complained
“Tough, and just so you know if you had managed to get out and I found out you would be so grounded” I looked down, I didn’t think he would do anything but thinking about it that sounded stupid,
“Fine, I kind of made a friend, I want to go see her but I don’t want you 2 to make a big deal out of it” I said looking down
“And that’s worth getting in trouble over, who is she?”
“How did you meet, are you getting on well, what’s she like, what does she look like, when can I meet her?” jack questions falling out of his mouth as fast as he thought of them
“That’s why I didn’t want to mention it” I said pointing to Jack, “and just a girl from my art class”
“And why don’t you want to say more?” Alex asked, it was like he had a sixth sense when I was hiding stuff, it was so annoying
“She is a fan of you guys and I know you will want to see who I’m hanging out with but that might be weird”
“Did she become your friend when she found out or the other way around?” Alex asked sounding overly concerned
“After” I said confidently, “I haven’t told anyone, she only found out when I said my uncles name was Alex, and she saw my name on my books”
“ok ash I get why you did this you can go out but if we catch you sneaking around again you will be in serious trouble and your homework better be done when you get back in, answer your phone if I ring, and be back by 7 for tea”
“Ok thank you” I said hugging him happily making him and Jack laugh
“And I do want to meet her but if she’s a fan I want to make sure she isn’t using you first ok? Once we are sure then we will invite her over”
“Yeah, I’ve been avoiding saying about her coming over like I normally would because it could be weird” he nodded
“I know we will work it out just be careful” he hugged me I nodded grabbed my things and left, I texted her asking where we should meet,
“So did you escape?” she laughed as I walked over
“Well not unseen and Jack told, Alex was mad but understood, he’s pretty cool”
“I wish my parents were like that if I’m caught I would have been killed”
“Yeah I think he will get there”
“So how long have you lived with him?”
“He brought me over about 3 months ago” I smiled
“When did your mum you know”
“Pass away, about 4 month ago, Alex came straight over, followed by Jack, they stayed for about a month, getting things organised, then brought me over, Alex let me settle in a month or so before he made me go to school, it was weird”
“Oh right, I never noticed you until art”
“No one does really”
“I will help with that” she grinned, we walked around talking, she didn’t ask too much about the guys, or ask to come over,
“Oh shit its 7 Alex wants me home for dinner, I’ve got to go” she walked me home, she hugged me and walked home, I ran in the house
“Sorry I’m a little late” I said running in worried,
“Its ok” he smiled and put my food down on the table I sat down and Jack walked in
“God do you ever leave, don’t you have a life?” I complained
“Shut up ash” Jack laughed sitting down, “you love me really” Alex passed him a plate and sat down, with his,
“So how did it go?” he asked trying to sound not bothered but he sounded worried,
“Fine” I smiled
“That’s all you’re going to say?” Jack laughed
“What we walked round talked about school, she showed me around, and it was good” I shrugged not knowing what to say,
“Cool” Jack smiled
“Oh and ash, I’ve got to go out tomorrow for some band stuff, I will be back for 7 to make tea, I want your homework done by the time I get in” he said seriously
“I don’t have any for Monday and it’s the weekend”
“If you have some for later I want it done don’t put it off” he said seriously
“Ok” I sighed “if I do more tonight can I go out after school?”
“Yes but your homework better be done for when I get in” I nodded and hugged him.

Sorry I havent posted in a while, Ive been busy with work, and i think this is a little rubbish but will work on the next part and get it up sooner hopfully!
