Oh Calamity!

Eventually it was the weekend, Jack was looking after me because Alex and Tay were going on another date and Alex was staying at Tays, I asked about being grounded and Alex said I still was and I wasn’t allowed to go out for food, I sat with Jack flicking through the channels
“Hey you tell me off for that” he laughed
“So” I smiled
“Have you done your homework?” he asked I rolled my eyes and grabbed my bag, and he took the remote sticking something on
“See its annoying when someone else does it isn’t it?” I laughed taking my books out
“How come you don’t do your work straight away when it’s just me here?” Jack asked
“Because you don’t give me that look if I don’t, so I have 5 minutes to relax” I said making him laugh.
“Still don’t make me ask every time, I hate making you do it, I hate being the bad guy!” he complained, pouting,
“Ok, ok I wouldn’t just not do it, I always do it eventually” I said, although once I relaxed I never wanted to,
“Just don’t get me in trouble!” he complained, I nodded and started working
“So what are we doing tonight, since I’m grounded?” I said rolling my eyes
“Hey it’s your fault don’t swear at your uncle like that and he won’t ground you, and I don’t know, take out and TV? Just hang out unless you can think of something better?”
“Ok” I nodded, I finished my work for Monday,
“Will I get wrong if I do some for through the week over the weekend?” I asked,
“How much and when for?” he asked, knowing if it was too much alex would tell us both off,
“I’ve did everything for Monday, I have a little left for Tuesday, but a lot for Thursday, I want to get it done but not tonight, Alex acts suspicious if I do stuff other than when he tells me to”
“Tell him you have something big, he will understand if you talk to him, but get Tuesdays done now if it’s only a little”
“Fine” I sighed and did the work,
“You sounded like a real teenager there” he laughed
“Shut up” I complained
“And there”
“Jack!”
“Ok, ok” he laughed, I finished my work and put it away
“I’m hungry what we ordering?”
“I don’t know what you want you are the picky one?” he complained
“Tacos” I huffed
“You want me to take you out and I’m not doing it, either order a crappy one or pick something else, I will take you out next time ok?” he smiled.
“Fine” I wanted a pizza so Jack ordered too much food, I sat talking I fell asleep on Jack, and woke up as I was being carried up
“Huh?” I complained and struggled he put me down,
“Sorry I was trying to let you get some sleep, your too big for me to carry” he laughed and I walked to my room, “come get me if you can’t get to sleep ok?”
“ok” I smiled and got comfortable, I woke up the next morning happy, I got ready and got a cup of tea, I made Jack coffee, and sat watching TV, I eyed up Jacks laptop and tablet he had left on the side, I thought about using them but knew he wouldn’t be happy and my punishment was nearly up, soon Jack came down
“Hey, sorry I slept in, did you sleep ok?”
“Yeah, there’s coffee on” I smiled,
“Ooh thanks” he smiled and sat down watching TV
“Can I use your laptop?” I asked quietly, he laughed
“What for?” he asked looking amused
“I just want to use the internet for 5 minutes”
“ash no, I’m not sneaking around behind Alex’s back this is what he wants, and you will get to use your own next week” he said shaking his head
“Fine” I sighed, he laughed
“Look Alex wants to teach you a lesson, you have to understand why”
“Kind of but isn’t he over reacting?” I complained,
“Ash you shouted him to fuck off” he said seriously
“Well yeah but”
“You need to realise you do that there are consequences, it’s only a few more days” he smiled
“I know” I sighed,
“What do you want to do?” he said the seriousness from his face gone,
“I don’t know, just look on twitter, my Facebook, check emails, normal stuff”
“Ask Alex when he gets home, he might but I won’t let you unless he does”
“Ok” I sighed, I sat thinking about stuff,
“Hey you ok?” he asked looking at me
“Yeah” I smiled,
“What you thinking about?”
“nothing really” I smiled, he shrugged, I was thinking more and more about my mum,
A little later I heard a noise at the door so I opened it and saw alex and tay kissing
“oh erm sorry” I said feeling awkward, and went to my room, Jack walked over and laughed, I thought about staying in my room, but knew Jack would come get me, I went down and walked in the room loudly, Jack laughed
“You don’t need to do that” Alex said rolling his eyes
“It would have helped before” I smiled, Tay tried to hide her laughter
“Ok enough” Alex smiled, and we talked till Tay went home.
“alex can I use my computer for some stuff?” I asked sweetly
“what stuff” he said arms folded, ok this wasn’t going to go down well,
“just some stuff” I said quietly
“no”
“why” I moaned
“you know why”
“but”
“but what? If it was work you would have said by now, no I gave you a punishment and you are sticking to it”
“fine” I snapped, he looked at me
“sorry” I said quietly and watched tv.
The next day I was sitting talking with the guys until I remembered I wanted to do some work,
“im going to do some more homework” I said standing up
“jack did you not check she finished it all?” Alex said looking angry
“I did! This is for Thursday and is bigger than usual, I would have been there all night!” I said defensively
“ok, im sorry go ahead” alex said holding his hands up, I ran up frustrated, I did some of my work but there was a lot
“you ok up here?” jack asked standing at my door,
“yeah but I think I need to do some research” I complained looking at my computer
“ask alex to unlock it then?”
“after I snapped at him and kept asking yesterday im not sure he will”
“you could use his downstairs, he will deffinatly do that, but im sure he will let you use yours if you ask, as long as its really for work”
“it is” I said quietly
“so you were also planning on sneaking in some other stuff?” he laughed
“if I had time maybe”
“don’t, you know he will catch you, or I will and I don’t want to have to tell on you not for something so silly, its only 1 more day” he said gently
“fine” I sighed and got up and walked down
“you done?”
“part of it, but I kind of need to do some research” I paused “I can wait till tomorrow if you want”
“no you know you can use your computer for work, or you can use mine and we could help if you need it? Whats it for?”
“chemistry”
“ok none of us were good at that really, do you want mine or yours?”
“I will use yours if you want” I smiled, I knew he would rather keep an eye on me, and it would make him less suspicious, I grabbed my books and sat working, no one bothered me too much, tay sat next to me,
“I was good at chemistry, need any help?” she smiled, I showed her what I was stuck on
“god your doing that already? Your in the higher class aren’t you?”
“yeah shes our little geek” alex grinned
“shut up alex” tay laughed, she read through stuff with me, we guessed half of it but at least it was done, I handed alex his laptop back,
“god you are a geek if you understand that” he laughed shutting the pages and closing the laptop, I finished the rest,
“is that everything?” alex asked as I shut my book
“yeah” I smiled.
“ok I know I was out on Friday but can you 2 let me know if you still have work to do over the weekend?” I nodded
“sorry, I told jack, and I did it”
“im not telling you off, but if I knew I wouldn’t have talked to you like that when you were being good”
“ok” I said still feeling guilty
“its my fault I should have told you, I was going to but I completely forgot” jack smiled at me.
